@@ChannelMAsk I just changed my alternator and now my battery light flashes on sometimes goes off then while driving comes on again ...any idea what this could be it's driving me bonkers :(
Thank you so much for this. I will get to it one day now. But then I will need to figure out what torque specs to tighten all the bolts once I put it all back together. And if the need to use threadlocker or not.
May I know how many mm wrench is needed to take off the alternator adjust nut and the 2 bolts of the steering pump? helpful video, I will take out the alternator using your video guide! Thanks! Prelude 3rd gen owner
Did you have to discharge AC first? Im worried to disconnect mine due to maybe being full of freon or whatever is pressurized inside? Or was yours already depressurized from age and lack of use or something? Thanks
did you get this compressor rebuilt? mine has red light keeps coming on, and Bearing VERY noisey in the pulley, i found a place that sells brand new compressor if you want one :D
If I can easily explain to you then the service manual will be useless. Search and download the manual please. The service manual has showed all information and steps in detail. I learned and do all repairing from the manual.
I did all the way up to the top and made noise as well. Then I adjust the pulley about 1.5cm away from the top end then no noise anymore. So just make it looser until it has no noise.
⚠️Remember to disconnect the battery before removing the alternator.
Great video. I just swapped out my a/c compressor, and this was a life saver. Thanks for posting!
U a welcome~

i take my compressor out today, i didnt even need to disconnect coolant lines :D just doing the bearing and Coil fix.
Of cos u don’t need to disconnect coolant lines for removing the compressor.
Don't forget that S1 and S2 preludes have different compressors!
Same. I’m using S2 on my S1. Working all good.
S2 is sanden TR70? did you have to make bracket?@@ChannelMAsk
@@Aileron90 I don’t know the number. I got the compressor from a S2. Installed into my S1. Works good.

Download the service manual online. U will have all information in there or ask in the Facebook group.
@@ChannelMAsk where can we find the service manual online if we don't have a facebook account?
@@DIGonzalez84 google. U can download it from some website
I used ratchet wrenches when I took both my belts off and replaced them.

12mm and 14mm. If my memory is correct. It’s better to download the the manual. It’s free from internet. Also follow the manual to torque if u can.
Remember to disconnect the battery before you remove the alt bolts. Other wise you blow the main fuse.

My ac is empty in the system for years. No gas. Read the manual to see how to remove the compressor with gas inside.

just replaced my alternator, How tight is the Power steering tensioner supposed to be? i've done it up so tight and the pulley still wobbles! ahhhh

@@ChannelMAsk my pulley doesn't make noise, just a little wobble,
@@Aileron90 try to replace new new bolt, if not, replace another steering pump.
@@ChannelMAsk how big is the tensioner pulley bolt? 10mm?
@@Aileron90 may be 12. I can’t remember. Check with your spanner.
