When this deck was created these cards cost around $300. Due to the volatile market prices as this deck gains popularity, some prices may have gone up.
In my experience, prices also varies where you get the cards as it depends where the seller is shipping from and what your local game store is offering. Doesn't include any perks like Coolstuff giving you a discount on singles if you have been a continued client for their storefront and what condition those cards in question are in. When in doubt, always remember: Heavily used and damaged cards also needs a home.
This deck is INSANE ive been smashing people with this $300 (now $600) version in MTGO. Well done upgrade guys, this might be the most fun deck I've played. I regret blowing so much money on my sliver deck bc this one blows slivers out of the water in terms of power.
You would have all of the eldrazi Titan's I have a deck list is at least 600-700+ dollars it's and there also the artifacts that's costed me 500 I can play zhulodok turn two with a good hand the deck list would consist of high priced artifacts that draw you cards and ramp your mana out put
Indeed, if you double cascade and hit conduit first, it enters the battlefield and its etb trigger goes on the stack before the second cascade. So, you can tutor the perfect spell and put it on top of your library and cascade into it immediately!
Very good cuts and additions, particularly for the budget. I would possibly reconsider cutting Abstruse Archaic, as it can copy mana-rock abilities, it can copy annihilator with some of those large Eldrazi creatures that are in the deck, and it has a lot of utility that will be able to help in the early game. In general, the main focus of the upgrades will usually be to ensure that the deck can maintain a board state through either drawing, cascading, and/or having the mana keep throwing cards onto the board. Abstruse Archaic helps all but to trigger the cascade, cascade on its own cast, but can assist in doing so on the cast of other creatures later in the game. We have a -a lot- of wastes to cut for better lands. Shrine of the forsaken gods is a solid stable and mage-ring network can help with mana setup. We do not need 15 wastes or even 10 wastes in the deck. Cutting those will likely help the potential for the deck to get out of sticky situations.
I don’t think this is a bad deck that shouldn’t be recommended. It can definitely win games in the right power level of course and it’s super fun. Great deck and amazing upgrades as always guys!
Ive seen other suggestions about cards such as, Commander's Plate, Palantir of Orthanc, Realmbreaker, the Invasion Tree and as utility artifacts could bring some value outside of just ramping fruit for thought
It would be not that big a diffrence just even faster. You would just add Mana Crypt, Grim Monolith , Mox Opal + Keys to utap them to make the mana even stronger. Problem is if you go so "hard" on any deck it start to look more, and more like cEDH... and then you cannot play it on normal table, becose its to powerfull... but the main startegy (ramp to big eldrazi) is not good for cEDH ether :D So you end up with deck that cannot be played in most of tables ;P
I like the ancient tomb idea But one addition to that, If we're willing to spend that much of the budget on one land card then might as well spend 3 bucks On a expedition map so you get to see that powerful land twice as often
I know this was a little bit ago, but I have found an awesome card you guys may wanna try, wandering archaic, he's been a great little addition to keep my opponents in check with what they play, AND allows me to get the power of colors I don't have, it's great in place of the archaic already in the deck, but running both has also been pretty great. Wandering has defs gotten me some amazing effects from green and blue, and black and white start questioning whether or not they wanna keep him around, and red so far has been pretty indeterminate against him, they haven't decided if they like that more things get popped, or if they don't like that I can just throw it back in their face when they pop a goblin fodder or token spell. Skittering invasion is also great, I popped that one on turn 4, and before I even got the tokens, I cascaded into an emrakul and then a winnower, and then got a nice ulamog off with those tokens from skittering. It's good to note I only could do this because WA was on my field, and I got off a couple really nice mana ramping effects, making this pop off really fast, and my opponents basically had nothing to counter three big smashers, without losing their own permanents and effects to annihilator or archaic
Great job on this deck upgrade. I personally can see why you wouldn't recommend this deck, although some of the inclusions like Ancient Tomb and Urza's Saga being a good inclusion in many decks does mean that people can easily transfer them to other builds as time goes on. I'm glad that Wizards are easy on what card's worthy of being banned instead of making their banlist based on what their new set is like to increase sales, that's one of the main reasons I swapped to Commander after leaving the game for a while during the beginning of covid when Wizard experimented with the cheap precons from Zendikar Rising. I've come to love eternal formats from card games, although the one game I barely play now at days only really haves two formats and is struggling in the west since the game got rebooted TWICE, overtime I can see it come back but they still got some ways to go. Playing Commander makes me appreciate how many ways you can play Magic the Gathering with your locals and friends, hell one time at lunch from my work, there was a group of guys playing a "rush" version of Commander with lands already at play at the start of the game and they just let the Chaos ensure! Once you get to know how Magic still becomes relevant to this day comes down to many elements, from player interactions regardless of who's turn it is, to multiple ways to play, even having collabs and alternative arts in the form of Secret Lair all contributes to why people still enjoy and play Magic.
I had a feeling Emrakul would make the cut for the $300 upgrade. Gotta have the trinity of titans. Also checked out the Moxfield link for this deck and it didn't include Ancient Tomb. Just FYI.
The best way to improve this deck is making Jacob Hauken your commander which gives you access to counterspells and potential eldrazis on turn three. All your inclusions are in my Hauken deck and I will be adding a few cards from the precon to it!
Ya clearly are not aware of the fact Everflowing Chalice can be kicked once making it a 2 drop rock. You don't have to dump tons of mana into it, but the option is there.
Why does everybody always overlook Scorched Ruins for this deck?! Sacrifice 2 lands to play a land that taps for 4 colorless mana??? In other words double your mana on turn 2.
Conch horn is cool here. A bit cheap and old and weird. But it is some card draw at worst, and best case scenario you take the second most expensive thing out of your hand then you cascade into it.
Question guys. Could you help me out? I want to add Ulamog the Ceaseless Hunger to the deck. What’s something I can take out for it? I wanna have all the big eldrazi guys in this deck.
Abstruse Archaic is one of the best cards in my Eldrazi deck. It copies not only cascade, but annihilator triggers also! EDIT: You can pay the kicker cost when you cascade (Everflowing Chalice). EDIT 2: Why cut Shrine of the Forsaken Gods, I don't understand your explanation. What are you replacing it with, a Wastes that will guaranteed only ever tap for one colorless? Makes no sense to me.
So with the lands, why take out temple of the false gods? It think it doesn't hurt having it in there vs a regular wastes, theres no downside to having it, it doesn't tap when it comes in. And like other colorless lands even if their extra ability is extremely rare to use its still a chance you could use it over a wastes that does nothing. Is there something im missing?
Temple of the False God doesn’t do anything unless you have 4 other lands including itself. The odds, while they may be lower, have a possibility of the land never working. For example if you drew that land after your opening hand or you are mana stalled. It’s just a better thing to guarantee you can tap a land for mana.
Once I get back to the states I'll definitely be grabbing the cards from this one and the 100$ vid just so I can make this deck as stank nasty as possible same for the planes walker deck from the 100$ vid and I look forward to the 300$ vid
No blightsteel? Rogues passage with blightsteel in this deck is a no brainer. This is def a money sink deck, but honestly winning with eldrazi stompy stompy vs infinite combo decks feels good, you just 1000000% must have the expensive mana rocks to give you a chance or youre fucked. I easily dropped 700 into my deck upgrades, and fuckkkkkkkkkkk I have so much fun playing it, Its just such a board threat that it turns the entire game into pure chaos. Also foil textured all my titans because if im dropping the thicc james of colorless, theyre gonna look fucking good, even if they get countered lmao. Cavern of souls in this deck is a must. Nothing like someone trying to counter thiiiiiiicccc boi when they forgot about cavern of souls, yes, please reveal the counter in your hand that wont work. mwahahaha. ahhh i love magic. Even losing with this deck is fun. Pure chaos.
Thanks for the video guys. I am hyped to try this deck out. I counted 33 artifacts in the final deck (Including lands and creatures) do you think it is worth putting in Karn, Legacy Reforged in to help get out those artifacts?

just a touch, its like 770 now lmao
You can still user the multi kicker on everflowing chalice if you hit it off a cascade, so you could still kick it if you have open mana
Same with Skyclave relic, and you can copy the etb copy effect with archaic, strionic, or lithoform 😉
This deck is INSANE ive been smashing people with this $300 (now $600) version in MTGO. Well done upgrade guys, this might be the most fun deck I've played. I regret blowing so much money on my sliver deck bc this one blows slivers out of the water in terms of power.
If having no budget, what would the deck list look like with Zhulodok at the helm? I am interested in seeing a no budget deck list.
I second this, I would like to see a no budget deck list
That's pretty much just a Zhulodok deck from scratch, but I would love to see that.
BUY PROXIES!!!! Fun for at home play as long as they are game legal :)
You would have all of the eldrazi Titan's I have a deck list is at least 600-700+ dollars it's and there also the artifacts that's costed me 500 I can play zhulodok turn two with a good hand the deck list would consist of high priced artifacts that draw you cards and ramp your mana out put
Still not strong enough
If it hurt flavor, why cut Temple of the Forsaken gods when you could keep it and cut a wastes?
Conduit of ruin is one i think you missed in both videos and should definitely be considered :) great videos. thank you for the help with my upgrade!

Another vid on upgrade with maybe "unlimeted cost"? i really wanna see what is the full pottential of this

Glad you found love for commander! Thanks for watching 😊
Just got my deck in today. Time to start building.
The everflowing chalice can still be kicked if you cascade into it btw
I’m surprised I didn’t put basalt monolith for the infinite and it’s cheap as well plus a voltaic key or something to search out ur mana doubler
I had a feeling Emrakul would make the cut for the $300 upgrade. Gotta have the trinity of titans. Also checked out the Moxfield link for this deck and it didn't include Ancient Tomb. Just FYI.

I got all those in the $300 upgrade in my Kozilek deck already, so it’s good to go! 😬
Sounds like an easy transition!
Finally! Love the deck.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy
Would a grim monolith be usefully in this deck?
what about commanders plate, Ulamog the ceaseless hunger or Eldrazi conscription?
Those are all great options too! Just got to be a bit expensive in the end.

Sword of the Animist could work for some land "ramp"

As soon as I saw that card I added it to my list for this deck
ive literally been saying the same thing and added it to my deck
you can even scorched ruins into thran dynamo for turn 2 seven mana. i had 12 mana turn 3 that round and the table scooped
@@marcgeronimo2997 nah cos you need to sac 2 untapped lands so you can play it earliest turn 2/3 but yeah playing scorched into dynamo is nasty
I still need to get one but I fully intend on it for Zhulodok, it’s too good not to run.
Do you think Akromas Memorial works well in this deck? If so, what would you replace with it?
Why didn't you cut the X spells in a cascade deck?

U can pay the kicker on over flowing chalice when u cascade it but I guess u would have just spent 7 mana so u might not have much more to spend
I'm curious as to what cards you would've upgraded from the sets that have come out now. Being before MH3 drops. Or would you of kept it the same?
I've got one question 🤔 would you add the one ring since you've dropped this video?

first saga you showed here isnt in the deck on the decklist you posted under the video. so confusing
It is a land!
No Urza's Incubator?
It was added from the $100 upgrade! It’s in the deck
To the creator: what would you consider the best multi color commander to run an eldrazi deck ?
Why take out the Shrine of the forsaken gods when you could just take out a Waste?
Yeah, you can pay kicker off of cascade… you know that right?
Everyone should add a void mirror to their deck lol
Nah, it would be a waste. It's far too easy to work around.
Cutting warping wail is a massive mistake
Agree. There's only so much removal/Counter in colorless under cmc7
What im not seeing is urborg tomb of yawgmoth and cabal coffers and other utility lands
The budget was $300. Also Cabal coffers isn’t legal in the deck as it has a color identity of black.
Emrakul the promised end is banned so why do I keep seeing it in the precon upgrades?
