* Shambling towards the entrance, covered in dust, you finally arrive at Toriel's house, these areas always take so long to clear, you think to yourself, before approaching the tree in front of the home, naturally, as you'd expected, she rushed out to find you in front of the house, commenting on the strange powder all over you, before brushing it aside with a laugh, she shows you around the house, to your room, you take a small nap to progress your game, and awake in a... New setting, notably, the light was still on, usually Toriel would have turned it off while you were asleep, and delivered a fresh slice of pie to you, which... Also was not there, you started to become frustrated, wracking your brain to think of what could have happened as you sit on the bed, staring at the ground, what an odd difference, did somebody get to Toriel before you? Who would dare steal YOUR EXP? Certainly not Flowey, he's learned his lesson there...
* Groaning in annoyance, you stand up, walking out to the living room to progress to Snowdin, yet, Toriel isn't there, and the fireplace is completely out, how weird, somebody MUST have gotten to her before you... Maybe it was him, but you shrug the thought off, this isn't some fan game, like Dust!Tale, he wouldn't farm EXP just to get rid of you, besides, he would realize how little it mattered... You elect to press on, walking down the stairs, and through the basement, only to be hit by a cold breeze as you turn the last corner, seeing the ruins door wide open, the cold, Snowdin air blowing into the ruins, did she leave on her own? No, that's too big of a difference, there's no way... But what other rational answer is there? You can't think of one, so you decide to take that thought at face value, she must've gotten scared and ran away, or something, you'll find her eventually, and if you have to fight Sans at, say, level 17? So be it.
* As you progress through the underground, you begin to feel uneasy, the complete absence of Toriel on it's own is unnerving, but you can't help but feel like there's something wrong this time around, as you behead his brother, you look around, to see if he's watching, you hope he is, and after a few seconds, continue on to waterfall.
* Everything else goes as normal, Undyne saves Monster Kid, and you kill her, pretty easily too, you're getting better. You move on to hotland, and enter Alphys lab, approaching Mettaton, scoffing as you remember how pathetic he is in this version of story, you listen to his speech, nodding, rolling your eyes, until something catches your attention, you focus on the robot, as he explains how a familiar skeleton came to Alphy's lab, only a few minutes before you exited the Ruins, warning her to evacuate the underground early, you had noticed an unusually smaller amount of monsters, but your LOVE had stayed roughly as normal, at least, as far as you could tell, missing the LOVE from Toriel made it hard to tell...
* You question him on it, if anybody was with him, if he had mentioned anything else, your suspicion, and worry, began to grow, but also your curiosity, and excitement. You became a little frustrated upon his denial to give you any more answers, ATTACKing him, knowing full well your hit will just bounce off his body, before watching him make his exit, exiting the lab yourself, seconds after.
* You press on through Hotland, to the CORE, saving before the "Big fight" with Mettaton, naturally, you kill him in a single hit, and collect all the EXP for it, you approach New Home, bracing yourself for the amount of dialogue you'll be sitting through, before opening the door and entering, you grab the keys, doing your best to ignore Flowey, much to his frustration, as you approach the Judgement Hall, you know what's waiting for you now, at least... You think you do.
* You enter the golden hall, and SAVE one final time, sorting your items before proceeding through the golden corridor, but something freezes you in your tracks, you were expecting to see Him, and well, he is there, but so is SHE... So that's where she went, the realization dawns on you as you grip the knife in your hand tight, whatever, she's practically free EXP, who's complaining? You begin to walk forward, but you're suddenly blocked off by a single fireball, appearing inches away from your chest, you look down, backing up frantically, and clutching your chest, you glare at Toriel, she is unfazed.
* Sans begins to talk, much to your excitement, he has something new to say, finally. He begins with a greeting; "Heya, funny we'd all run into each other like this, huh? Took you a little longer this time, got lost along the way?" You chuckle, not out of humor, you just can't wait to see how this plays out... "What's so funny?" He asks, putting his hands in his pockets. "You think we're gonna let you by? No, that ain't it... You _want_ to do this, you want to fight us here, like this, isn't that right?"
* You mime the action of thinking for a few seconds, before nodding to Sans, beginning to approach him yet again, Toriel is just an afterthought, you'll deal with sans, and then take her out only seconds after... He continues, "Well kid, you're in luck, that's just what we're gonna do, one question though, before we start..." On hearing this, you stop in place, tilting your head out of curiosity, you see Sans point behind you, "What's that?" He asks, sarcastically, as you turn around, you're hit in the face by a hot ball of fire, you hold your cheek, which is now partially melted, looking back at Toriel, she looks angry, as well as remorseful, she holds her hand up, summoning more fireballs around you, "I am sorry, child, but I can not let all monsters die because of you... You have forced me to do this."
* Sans chuckles, "Nah, don't feel bad, this is exactly what they want, and we're gonna give it to 'em." he proclaims, as he manifests bones, and other magic attacks, the both of them prepare to fight with everything they have, to fight to SAVE the underground.

Nice. Like the reference and I got it. Kris wouldn’t last 5 seconds before dying of emotional damage, while Susie laughs nonstop.
Bro nobodies talking about how emotional this fight would be. The first character you meet who acts like a mother figure and then all the sans drama on top of it. Plus the fact this probably hurts toriel so much since she not only wanted frisk to basically be her adopted child but also she asked sans to promise hed never hurt a human that came through the doors of the ruins and to watch over them. And now she has to watch as she lets him go back on it and help him with it on top of it. Definitely the most depressing undertale boss combo concept ive ever seen.
If Toriel could read LV and the night the human was sleeping she went to the exit of the Ruins to ask the person on the other side for help
That would mean that the human is only at ruins level witch explains sans surviving the first hit.

character code is changed so you can no hit enemies in the genocide route, so technically sans could have the same HP as Asgore and we wouldn't know.@@ILikeMinionsFromDespicableMe

I’ve always believed Toriel is likely stronger than Asgore, just look at how she just blows anybody away when she’s actually trying. She launches both Flowey and Asgore with a single hit. Granted, both were mostly caught off guard, but still, Toriel was the queen of monsters for a reason
Think of it like chess, the king is the weakest piece on the board and the queen is the most powerful. Really begs the question, just how much stronger is toriel really?

If toriel wasnt holding back,then i actually think she would be a really hard boss. Keep in mind,full power toriel probably scales higher than sans. Sans alone is the hardest bossfight in ut. So i think this battle would probably lead to their victory,Afterall,i figure they might have access to the cases that hold the souls

this would fit in when you spare toriel in a genocide route but you continue with the genocide route, like toriel meets sans face to face, and then sans explains that she unleashed a monster that will nonstop search for something to kill, then with some more convincing they both join forces to stop the player

If toriel actually tried in her fight she’d be difficult, considering she shares the same atk and def stats as Asgore
It makes me sad to see Toriel worry so much about others, plus it's clear that she doesn't want to hurt the child but just seeing how they attack Sans put Ceria in the fight

This would be a cool fangame, where this takes place after a neutral ending where you kill Papyrus, and spare Toriel, Mettaton, and Kill flowey, and where You’d do a aborted genocide, where you kill all normal monster only, exception for Papyrus, and sans tells toriel what you did, and they decide to team up on the next killer that happens to fall down. I swear if my idea turns into an actual fangame-

Sans was either Last Breath or Betrayer, because they are the closest ones to Classic Sans
If it's LB, then this battle happened before the timeline in which Sans met Gaster. If it's Betrayer, then this happened after the human reset his False pacifist, so Sans could remember their "false ending", so he decided to get to the Ruins and tell Toriel about human
or he just hung on for a few seconds before dying.. like he did in undertale..

I like to think that toriel has a weird ability, the ability to give temporary health. Which would explain why uh. sans goes last breath for a whole 0.1 seconds.

It's really pretty sad. It doesn't matter what combination of monsters you put up against Frisk. Frisk will win eventually as long as they can reset as much as they want. You NEED the other souls to beat them. No amount of emotional determination can truly beat Frisk alone.
With that said, Sans and Toriel combined would probably spank the player quite a few times.
