I've experienced first hand the inadequencies of our healthcare system. And we know this still holds true up to this day. When we see endless lines of patients outside the government hospital at 4 in the morning. Or the grandma who can't continue her chemo tx because she does not enough funds. These stories can go on. To take these funds from these sick patients would be devastating. These funds would be a great leap if used wisely. We are the type of country who lets a Chinese drug mule pass, and holds a simple pinoy who just wants to go to HK for a vacation. But at least let's get health sector right. Let us please get this right. The only way that a third world country can progress is to be able to have healthcare for all. Please, people are dying.
