Love this sketch in particular. The riots were def. real to those who are too young!! But the way he starts this mini-riot by claiming he was the head of the Simi Valley Jury. Hilarious! The Rodney King riots were sparked off by LAPD Officers beating King on the side of the road, but only this time it was videotaped. The first trial all officers were acquitted. Citizens were outraged by police getting away with yet another racially motivated beating, and stated "Gates Must Go". Protests had been going on but with the acquittals the frustration overflowed onto the streets. Nat'l Guard was called in as buildings were on fire and looting was occurring. Reginald Denny was the truck driver who stated "Can't we all just along?" He was pulled from his truck and beaten by angry rioters. Just a short history lesson. Simi Valley was mostly white, as was the whole jury in the first trial, btw.
So I guess not much has changed. Cops still get away with murder, people still riot because the government refuses to listen to any language other than violence, and the media sensationalizes all of it because its a massive ratings boost

When I was in college, I was a Teacher's Assistant for 3 semesters. One day in class, one of my friends was asking me to come over to him for some help. As I went over to his seat, I did what Fire Marshall Bill did at 2:31 just to be funny. My friend was then like "What was that?" I had to show this to him later.😂

There was a meat manager he was working on the meat machine somehow it malfunctioned and he lost his finger. So yeah this maybe all comedy but safety comes first when you operate that kind of stuff to make sure before you even use it make sure it's operating correctly

This show was so based. When we all could laugh at each other. A show like this could never be made now because this new generation would be offended by comedy.
They did try to revive "In Living Color" back in 2012, but test audiences didn't like it, so, yeah, you're right. This could never be made today, but I think it should because Saturday Night Live could use some competition, like when MADtv was on.
