    Nice haul there. I'm really looking forward to seeing those systems rescued and released back into the wild. Ha ha, so many people enjoy your hard off vids, that we could all chip in and buy you a car just to get you there :)

    Dammit very good goodies once again Luke. Awesome to see how the repairs go with those systems.

    Awesome hard off gets! Man, it sounds like it took a huge effort to get all that stuff home. I can definitely understand why you haven't been going to hard off so much the past couple of years since the skyline was sold. Awesome pick ups as always Luke, it was really great to see hard off again and then the stuff you found there as well =)

    I have the same sentiment toward the original Playstation and I have grown to love its style. I think one of the most important systems in gaming history!

    Truck load of stuff, amazing you brought all that back on the train!
    Will be interested in seeing the Saturn repair videos. Mine works, but after you use it for a while you get horizontal distortion on the screen and it no longer reads.
    Saw the other video about getting the MSX running - awesome. Mighty big thumping model that one.
    A friend of mine is trying to repair my Sony MSX 2+ machine, the transformer was blown so he is adapting another power supply for it.

    Awesome finds Luke. A mr clean magic eraser will take the marker off your carts quick and easy with no damage. If you ever come across a neo geo cdz at a good price I would buy it off you. Have a great weekend buddy.

    Wouldn't be surprised if that famicom cart turned out to be Clu Clu Land or Mario Bros.
    Or any other of the more common orange famicom carts for that matter :)
    Lovely pickups, especially that fine looking MSX, hope to see it up and running soon.

    Awesome pick ups! That V-Saturn is the gold item of the bunch, I look foward to the repair video on it! Also the pink Game Boy Pocket it's quite uncommon (was released only in JP an EU). And that two shades Nintendo 64 controller is a Limited Edition one, bundled with Mario Kart only in JP :)

    thats a audiophile ps1 you have there, got one myself & the laser had gone so i replaced it with a psone laser, works perfect with the reliability of the psone newer laser

    As stated below, those original PS1s with the RCA jacks in the back are sought-after in the audio communities for their high quality sound hardware. Keep your eye out for more, you could probably make a small profit on them!

  • @Polaventris
    @Polaventris 11 лет назад

    Looks like that was the very first PS1 models that still has those AV out at the back. Never seen one of those around here. I got the 5xxx model and the 7xxx model that has the funky menus and the Sound Scope music visualization system built in.

    ive used the powdered oxy clean with a little water mixed in it worked great for me on older yellowed controllers etc made them look almost new just be careful to use the same ratio in mix or youll get an uneven cleaning don't no if you have anything better put the oxy is cheap u can even get it at laundry mats in those 50 cent boxes

  • @DreamcastModsByJustin
    @DreamcastModsByJustin 11 лет назад

    I use 97% isopropyl alcohol on perm marker on games and it usually comes right off. One more slightly more extreme method would be to use a magic eraser, but they'll also take some plastic with it since it works like sandpaper.

    You probably looked like me when I hit up one of the local jockey lots from time to time. I sometimes spend all my spare cash on several items I see within the first 30 minutes of walking around. The wife is still looking, and I just keep carrying about 20 pounds of electronic and pc parts for a couple of hours. Have been known to walk around for an hour or so with a 15" pc CRT (probably 30 lbs.) on my shoulder back in the day as well. Not these days though... I'm too brittle!

    For the marker on the cardridges, try some erasable marker. (The one you use on white boards.)
    Apparently, it works very well.

    Wow! I just woke up and barely had any coffee and this video is recommended to watch. I see you're collecting old japanese games. I only have one question... who the fuck are you? This is a weird way to wake up, and some guy dressed as a mod flashing all these rare SNES tittles and shit. You certainly helped start my day! LOL!

  • @jrlepage
    @jrlepage 11 лет назад

    Cool man :). I'm just curious what do you end up doing with all the games and systems that you fix up? It seems more like a labor of love than anything super profitable, was just curious if you kept most of it, sold them, donated, etc. I like the idea of saving stuff like that from the grave,... Gotta be hospitals or community centers that would want that stuff at least.

  • @MrTechnoSqueek
    @MrTechnoSqueek 11 лет назад

    that's weird I dont know a lot about the ps1 only a few things but I am guessing that model only came out there in japan because the one I have has just a place to put the power cable in and a place to put the a/v cable wire in.
