Nice report. Hope Boeing fixes the issues with the MAX cause I do want to see Boeing succeed.
Thank you! I hope they fix the issues too since it's a great aircraft with great potential.
They better fix it fast cause now it’s grounded.
I do too. I have confidence they will rebound strong from this.
Great video of the -8, you survived! I fly from DCA to DAL twice a year, but my next trip is on a 737-700 surprisingly, as opposed to my last trip being on both 738s. The load factors on this route is very high, so I'd really like to see more -800 and MAX 8 (once they come back) in DC. The heart interior is really amazing too, as an added benefit of the -800.
Thank you! 😊 I think it's because they are trying to deal with the lack of the MAX 8's so they are shifting around some routes and aircraft. I like the Heart interior and with the Boeing Sky Interior it's just incredible!
@@dfwaviation2066 how are you taking? your video and Great video of Southwest
Great video! Great plane!
Thank you! And it definitely was! 😊
Hope to see the Max 8 again soon, with the issues fixed of course.
Southwest is totally my favorite airline.
Seems like the FA got confused with the 800s and Max 8s lol.
I hope so, as well! Southwest is one of my favourite airlines, for low-cost they are, and Delta for major airline.
@@dfwaviation2066 Southwest for low cost and jet blue for major! Hopefully (Most likely after the pandemic) we will get a Max8 Timeline.
I really do wanna ride the MAX. It does appear to be very safe
Someday, we'll see how long it takes for them to be put back into service.
They're bringing it back mid 2020 to 2021. Can't wait to fly it on Qantas or virgin Australia
I just flew some weeks ago in a Boeing 737 Max 8 with Aeromexico and I really enjoyed the flight.
I live in San Jose. Me and my parents will be flying to and from Orlando on Southwest in November to go to Universal and Disney World with my brother, who's a student at the University of Miami. En route to Orlando, we'll have a two-hour layover in Las Vegas, while the return trip will be direct.
I hope we get a MAX!
That's awesome, hopefully you enjoy Florida and get the MAX. If you want to know what's the scheduled aircraft on your flight, go to the Southwest website as if you were buying the ticket and when selecting the flights click on the flight number and it will tell you the aircraft type of each segment. :)
Love your channel keep it up 👍
I rode on it last year and it was awesome and quite ATL-LGA
That's awesome! Yeah, they are very quiet but the start-up sound is incredible! :)

Was on a SW 737 Max last week from SDF to Denver. Got an exit row seat so had plenty of legroom. The interior of the aircraft has a great look. Very small restroom. Nice overhead bins for luggage. My only gripe is the seats. They’re awful! It was 2+ hours of torture. In Denver I transferred to an older model 737 for my flight to L.A. Much more comfortable.
I honestly didn't find the seats that bad, but you're right, they keep loosing cushioning haha.
Nice trip Report
Thank you! :D
I’m going on my first plane in November and I’m so nervous! Something about turbulence and the possibility of throwing up and other people throwing up scare me! I have the worst fear of getting sick! But the thing I hate the most is the feeling of your stomach dropping, which I heard is common on planes. When and how long does that feeling last for?? btw, great video!! :)
It's normal to be nervous but everything will be alright, planes rides are fun and hopefully you think so, too! If you get motion sickness easily I recommend taking some Dramamine before the flight but other than that everything goes mostly smooth. Turbulences to me are fun but they are scary for some other people and Dramamine can help with that and the feeling of wanting to throw up due to the motion. The stomach dropping just happens for a few short seconds immediately after liftoff due to the plane angling more upwards and the G-forces but other than than you shouldn't feel it anymore unless you encounter some turbulences that make the airplane drop a little. I wish you a great flight and hopefully you enjoy it! I hope I also answered your questions. :D
DFW Aviation yes you did! thank you so much!!!
I'm glad to hear that, you're welcome! :D
I just went from DFW to DAL. In the past I just have fly with mexican low cost carriers, such as volaris, interjet and viva aerobus, but Southwest has the best low cost experience so far!
DFW to DAL? There's no flights from Dallas to Dallas/FW; were you talking about driving? I quite like Interjet and I have yet to try VivaAerobús.
DFW Aviation yep, I went from Mexico City to dfw, then I took a Uber to DAL, it’s a nice little airport
DFW Aviation my final destination was Tulsa
Ah, that makes more sense. And I agree, DAL is a nice little modern airport.
Hey try the b737 max as it has been ungrounded
Hopefully soon!
I love your work , my home and your home Airport DFW and Dallas Love in general gets neglected to much thx
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad I can put both of Dallas' airports on display. :D
My favorite engine is the GE-90
It's one of my favourites, too! :D
Last plane I was on was the Star Alliance livery Alitalia 777-200ER EI-DDH. Quite some engines on that thing. Really powerful but smooth revving. Lot smoother spool up that the (notched throttle) Airbus 320 series.

Very nice! I subbed!
Thank you! :)
Very nice video; not 100% perfect. Why? The footage was taken from the back of the engine. I wanna hear the engine buzz of the CFM LEAP engines.
Thank you! Hopefully next time I get a seat next to the engine so it can be heard more. I hope you enjoyed it anyway. :)
If you hear the sound of the 737 MAX engine with headphones, there is a slight buzz. But I can only hear it when in the front of the engine, just like I said on my comment.
5:55 we are in a 737 800 series what a lie
Ughh, I know! I was expecting to hear "Boeing 737 MAX 8" or at least "B737 MAX". 🤷♂️ Because it definitely is NOT an -800.
One time I was on a Ryanair B738 and the flight attendant called it a "747-800"
I'll be flying on one in about 2 weeks to ATL from DAL! 😁☺️
That's great! It's a pleasure to fly on the MAX, the engine sound is incredible! :)
Do ya ever use Flightradar24 too track your flights?
When I can use Flightradar 24 or Flightaware in the air, I do.
Awesome Job!!
Thank you! :)
I was just there 2 weeks ago.
how come the flight attendant said "welcome aboard this 737-800" i'm confused lol
I was confused too, I wanted to hear the word "MAX 8".
Brand new engine and it smokes when it starts up?
Yes, I believe it's the oil that is burning.
The snacks they provide you with vary from flight to flight.
Yeah, though it's always peanuts and pretzels.
Is the max 8 the same size as the -800ng
No, they are two different aircraft, the MAX 8 is newer.
We were on a Southwest Airlines plane that was not wifi equipped.
When was that? Because I believe they are now finished installing WiFi on all of their fleet.
Excellent video!
Thank you! :)
Who do you think was at fault for WN1380: Southwest, CFM, or the pilots?
I definitely think the pilots were not at fault since it was something hidden and beyond their reach. I say it is part of CFM but more of Southwest maintenance. But we'll see what happens and who is pointed out as more reports are released.
Southwest and the CFM56
I’m going to Dallas luv right now I live there
To fly or to plane-spot ?
DFW Aviation to fly
I just landed
I rode a 737-8 Max to Columbus Ohio
Awesome! From where? 😊
Those seats look thin and hard.
Honestly, I didn't find them uncomfortable.
which app is that?
For the in-flight entertainment? The Southwest Airlines app.
How tall are you?
I'm 5'9" / 175 cm.
I think you need to include Chinese, Russian, German, Italian, and Welsh in your subs.
Would be nice if I even spoke those.
do u know who qfs aviation is
I do, I'm subscribed to him. 😊
@@dfwaviation2066 do u know who jeb brooks is
Yes.
on my flight i told the pilots about MCAS
lol
😂 What did they say? What was their reaction?
@@dfwaviation2066 they just said
..ok
@@dfwaviation2066 they just said
. o k .
the 737 max is a beautiful aircraft though
I like the blended scimitar winglets
I like wing views
Me too! :)
Did she call this plane a 737-800....
Unfortunately, yes. I was expecting to hear "Boeing 737 MAX 8" but that did not happen.
DFW Aviation when I went on the Max they just said On this 737
Bluecrayon 007 that is still true
Thank to stupid boeing it's sitting in the desert now
Unfortunately yes.
I'm not afraid to fly on a 737 max again
The FAA probably should have done a better job certifying it too
The MAX 8
rip
Yep 😔
James Lindsey it’s going to fly back in the sky there’s no such thing as rip it going back they are just doing a software update to all aircraft.
A lot of y’all keep saying rip to the b737 max but go hear and watch this vid the aircraft is going back to the sky again check this vid ruclips.net/video/9QHLnGi9UyY/видео.html
Hopefully they can soon be back in the air but they need to fix all the issues before so it can continue being successful as they are good aircraft.
Why did you fast forward so much? I notice a lot of aviation posters do this. At least you didn't add God awful music to the fast forwarded parts.
I have attempted to do that much less.
Than take your own video
Wing view is stupid, you got no engine sound.
They are so quiet that if they ever go back to service I definitely want an engine view to hear the engine. I was also thinking, "I should have gone next to the engine" when we landed. 🤷♂️
