In the past, it ruled the south of the Iberian Peninsula, which is currently southern Spain and southern Portugal. The architecture you see in northern Morocco and southern Spain is Moroccan-Moorish architecture, not Spanish. Just to correct. The capital of the Moroccan Empire at that time was Marrakesh. Even the sultans who ruled the Andalusian kingdoms were subordinate to the Moroccan sultans, and Morocco was the one who sent soldiers for protection in the event that there was an invasion of Andalusia by the Crusaders or the Vikings, and more than that, everyone who disagreed. Orders are not ruled justly by the sultans of Andalusia. He is tried in the capital, Marrakesh. There is a famous sultan who ruled Seville. His name is Al-Mutamid Ibn Abbad.
