- Are you a big fan of fans? Do you like them loud high spinning server ones?
Well, i got great news for you, a FANtastic video that will literally BLOW YOU AWAY!
Now really, hello again!
Quick vid that i forgot i had recorded a while back and found it while tidying up my backups.
Literally just an old server fan pulled from faulty dell poweredge server, doing what it does best: push air at high speed!
I might use it as a case cooling fan but it would require a fan controller since its power draw is too high for a standard desktop motherboard. Unless i use a refurbished server one?
But i kept old connector just in case, if it would be needed in another dell server.

I’m trying to find one like this to throw in my buddies new PC build without him knowing.
The molex would carry it but not much else.

@@zsoltpeterdaniel8413 I have 2 server fans and both have 2 prong 220v plugs : )
I love Delta fans they have very nice and loud sounds and move tons of air!
I just bought 11 3200rpm delta fans.😊

Like a mini paper shredder.
U can shred receipt and ticket stubs that u don’t use anymore in it.
I'm moving to asia and I ordered a couple of similar fans with 220V power cords and I'n going to mount it externally as computer case exhaust for overclock on air benchmarking.
delta fans are the best :DD

Which is the PWM wire on this fan? Normally its the blue wire, but datasheets for similar Delta fans suggests its the yellow one. So any idea which wire is the PWM wire? I could not find a datasheet for this exact model.
From my research black=ground red=positive yellow=rpm blue=pwm.
@@chrisbrooks2310 , thanks, yes that is also what my testing indicates, I was thrown off a bit by the fact that some Delta fans use the yellow wire as PWM.
@@my.username Yes sir your welcome. I'm guessing it uses the standard layout bud. I could be wrong though lol I'll check as soon as I get my fan in.

Hello ! thanks for your video. Do you have a link to the datasheet of that fan ? I am searching a fan to regulate the height of a ping pong ball. I am trying to have PID controlled system with a ball that is levitating. This fan looks pretty strong but I am afraid the casing to protect fingers will cause turbulence so maybe not the best solution ... thanks for your advices...
Someone gave me that fan. I haven't installed it on my PC yet. I have only tested it with a 9V cell phone charger source, but it obviously does not reach that speed. In your test, was the maximum speed reached with only 12V?
I have Delta THB1212B-A
its a 4 pin connector
i want to buy your blower like that how much..,.pls..,

Nice video
when you try it in pc what will happend
Where did you buy it?
I took it out of an old dell poweredge1800 server.
i have sold
use it in pc
Very noise
I have a 35 mm fan that spins at 13000 Rpm yours is not the fastest
Because it's small, if it's big the rpm is lower
