That is excellent advice. Failure is part of learning and we are programmed to not handle it well. I’m a teacher and the entire education system is set-up to reward the ones who “fail” the least rather than as you say “you tried so hard” and give students tools to solve problems. I think your insight is really important and I hope young athletes take your advice.
