I can easily accept that 5 and 7 years olds are better skiers than I will ever be, its knowing a 2 year old would carve me up and leave me eating snow that's hard to accept :)
She’s 3 now so you should feel much better about that. 😂
August is so good! I think I said , in a previous comment, that he’s like a duck in water. I meant he is such a natural. Not a duck frantically moving feet underneath water. 😉

Love the ski vids and have checked out a couple of your mountain bike vids. Eager to get out for rides again, maybe next week if a good ice melt. In Toronto, but tons of bike paths and trails right on my doorstep. Down the elevator, out the door and into the Don Valley.

Closing weekend, why? This is Fernie Alpine Ski Resort in British Columbia, right? All those Rocky Mountain Ski Resorts in Canada and the U.S. should have skiing year round with 2,500 inches of snow for a winter season. Yeah right you say. Well that just a culpable 3:41 p.m. Eastern Time Zone moment of the day!!!!!!
Have thought about doing a survey? Survey for all skiers from 2 to 132 years old. (A) Do you like real powder that gets no warmer than 15 degrees outside or (B) skiing outside of 75 with slushy snow but you have that ski pond skimming with people wearing those crazy costumes?
It's not powder snow unless it's colder than 20 degrees and snowing or when it did snowed previously colder than 20 degrees. Around freezing temperatures it is that wet heavy snow good for building up a base on the ski runs, making snowman, and snowball fights. People that live/work in the Sierra Mountains, California and the Cascades Mountains of Washington know this "Sierra Cement" and "Cascades Cement" respectively. That's why nothing to folks that live near around these Ski Resorts and Ski Areas(no lodges and hotels there) like Mammoth Lakes, California by Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort, California. People that live around that town for years experience 3 FEET of snow in one winter storm. "Yeah what's the big deal?" Since those situations been going on since the beginning of time.
In my situation I have medical issues or matters, and no vehicle, and no money to go on a ski trip like from Michigan to Breckenridge Ski Resort, Colorado for example. All I have is memories of skiing Alta, Jackson Hole, Vail, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and the Mountain, and Taos Ski Valley.

Been a great season, watching your videos and the kids progess. Thanks for all the videos, looking forward to next winter season. Would love to see something like "progession videos", where you maybe show how much aprox 60 days a skiing improve your kids skill's. Personally I also love full run scenic videos, as I get to skii 5-6 days a year if im lucky. So if you have the material and find the time, I would love to see some top to bottom "cruising scenic skiing" from your favorite days and slopes.

I have thought about doing scenic "Fernie Alpine Resort" tour type runs before! I need to get out without the kids and just ski top to bottom in order to pull this off! It can be hard to find the time!

My 3 boys always tell me they really appreciated that I let them figure things out for themselves. As you do with your kids.
Like when they fall. And you verbally help. But try to not Physically help.

August really enjoyed his K2 Bindbender Jr’s this season. Luca was on some hand me down Blazzard and Adia was skiing on her 70cm Nordica’s. Ideally we can work with one brand that we like soon and all have same brand.

With 10, 9 and 3 year old daughters I feel you on the Toddler Life! Haha. It's hard work sometimes, we had a very similar, just as confusing tantrum\cry yesterday. It's worth it in the end once that smile comes back out.
