Such a pretty video. Loved the reviews and the aesthetic so so much. Your nails were also very pretty even though they were a simple colour. Sometimes I wish I could annotate my books as well, but I don't really like underlining or highlighting them and I had a bad experience with one of those sticky things (basically, when I wanted to rellocate one, it ripped a little bit of the page material and the writing) Love your videos!!

This came at just the perfect time! I just got done with my final year of med school a few weeks back and being able to relax, have tea and read books now feels like such a sweet reward! I just finished reading 'White Nights' by Fyodor Dostoevsky which is a novella comprising of two short stories, and the first story had such a sad, emotional, dreamy vibe to it, i absolutely loved it! I would also highly recommend The Nature series by Jim Crumley, they were such wonderfully meditative books if you want to dive into nature for a while

Hi Maria, It’s the start of my college’s reading week but I don’t have any exams ahead so I’m final catching up with your videos. I have to say, Maria and a book is my favorite combination because I know you got an immaculate taste in books and I gained so much inspiration from you to read again after being in a reading slump for years. The way people read nowadays is different from how I have read books in the past. So I just wanted to ask a few things from you, Hoping you’d see this comment someday. My first question is, what is the purpose of sticky tabbing the pages and underlining lines. I think that it maybe a quote or a dialogue that caught your attention but i don’t understand the purpose of sticky tabs. So in your case, why are you using them? (Sorry if it’s a dumb question) Second question is, what do you do with your old books? Do you keep them all in your shelves or do you sell them? I need some recommendations please. Third and final question is, do you recommend reading a book just to finish it even though you don’t feel interested in continuing at all just so you won’t miss what is yet to happen in the story or would you rather skip that book and move into another one? It may be kind of different but I think you will really like Carl Sagan books.... If you want to give it a shot ( in non-fiction genre) "The demon-hunted world" would be a good read.
