You really think Batman has a 36” waist? Batman is 6’2” and 210 pounds shredded. His waist is probably no bigger than 32”. Arnold was 6’2” and 235 at his peak and had a 34” waist, and he had a wide waist compared to other bodybuilders.
Hello there. This is pretty cool. I received my Utility Belt today. Have it displayed on-top of my Fireplace Mantel along with the NECA Catwoman and Batman figures as well as budget masks from both characters that I purchased on Amazon. BTW... you can open the smoke bombs and I found the perfect solution to fill them with... Use that Blue colored Dawn Dish Soap. It looks exactly like the real smoke bomb prop that I found a pic of on Google.
@@tigerclaw4537 That is awesome!! That sounds like a fantastic display. I didn't know you could open the smoke bomb. They must look great with the blue color.
It would be better if it were more flexible but its probably meant more as a display piece than for cosplay. What is the actually movie color and was it different for Returns. I miss this belt design, the one in the Flash should have been closer, I'v never been a fan of the black on black look and was the only thing I didn't like from Val Kilmer's Panther suit (The nipples never really bothered me)
Definitely a display piece for me at least. I do wish it was rubber. Both belts were the same color in the movies. I believe the real color was a mustard gold. The lighting always changed the color though.
@@speakeasycollectibles89 thank you Sir I’ve seen your prompt and courteous responses on here and your a class act. Thanks for being a decent bro and human
This is pretty awesome, love the replacable gadgets, the hefty clip. I'd have loved them to use this same buckle and the gadget clips, but place it on a urethane or pleather belt. Unfortunately selling this as a mass-produced "toy" they kind of need it to be significantly adjustable, and there's really no easy way they could make it adjustable from 31-50 inches any other way. The other way they probably would have done this is be simply including a stretch elastic and velcro strap in the back to adjust it, and that would look way worse. It looks like the whole thing is injection moulded in a couple of large parts, so there's no easy way to chop this up and combine with a leather belt. Maybe 3D print some gadget containers that can clip onto a leather or urethane belt, so you can use the awesome little inserts, and fin d a way to use the NECA buckle...
Everything you just said was my thought process too. I don't want to take anything away from this belt or what Neca is doing. This is a beautiful piece and gives so many people a chance to own it however it just wasn't for me. The one I am really excited for is the gauntlet double grappling gun. I hope they are still making it.
I have an idea if you print out the blueprints from Google search and use that as a manual for making the real one in your size made from Aluminum metal sheets I believe you can do anything if you put your mind to it
@@CamdencountyBatman89 I honestly can't remember. It was so long ago but I think for the full belt it was around 375 and if you just wanted the buckle it was around 250.
The belt would have been better if it had been painted in the correct color wich WAS BRASS .in place of the yellow..and the belt would have to be turned upside down to have the Buckle to open and close correctly. In short..it should have been made of a thick rubber...this belt was patterned after there batman action figure.. 89 batman is my favorite movie, batman, suit, car... but the belt is actually the worst out of all the batmans. like the gadgets but the belt itself always seemed kind of useless and tacky. batman should have larger compartments like the comic variation
That's perfect for a fan film.
It's a bummer the comic Batman would not be able to wear the belt.

The gold definitely does look better for both being a single color. Nothing a can of spray paint can't fix LOL
Definitely a display piece. It would require a lot of mods to make it wearable. Thanks for the review.
Exactly 👍

11:45 that backpart is uncomfortable for sure but if you slide the belt down a bit it should fit rather nicely into the crack.
