⭐UPDATED SYDNEY GRACE CREAM SHADOW COLLECTION VIDEO 2023 ruclips.net/video/eDihbBD-C5w/видео.html 😉
Best cream eyeshadows out there, long lasting staying power, great value for the low price and beautiful pigment. ❤️
I agree 100% 🙌
Thank you for the swatches, Kelly ! My faves are Glory, Blossom, Cliff Jumping. Im really NOT into the new-ish cream shadows SG make : theyre too flakey and glittery for my liking. I definitely prefer smoother just foiled shiny finish like they had before. Hopefully they'll add new colors like that too. Also after 2020 all the cream shadows were slightly remade to prolong the expiration date and many are not that they were before, even Temptalia has 2 versions of same shadow on her website where you totally see the slight differences. Wish I could have gotten them before 2020, many were cooler and more metallic then theyre now (Cliff Jumping, Campfire, Cranberry Streusel, Wish, etc.)
Oh I’ll have to look on her site. I am glad that the two of the three I got here are metallic ones. I will have to use the mica speckled one soon to see how it performs. It really does seem a lot more smooth. I don’t think the flecks are necessary though. Maybe if they see that the sales of those ones aren’t as high they’ll focus on the metallics!
I picked up two cream shadows yesterday during the sale. I'm excited to try them.
Oh yay! I can’t wait to see which ones you picked. I take it that you snagged the Cali coast palette then? That’s a total Liz palette!
Hi I love SG cream eyeshadows. My fav are Master Plan, My Bond, Starry Night and Cliff Jumping. Thanks for you video😘👍
Oooh I will have to look at Cliff Jumping 😉
Those are really great! Thank you for sharing, I wanted to buy a couple :)
Thanks so much-hope it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing the cream shadow swatches. I'm still undecided on the sale
Thanks for joining! Me too…I’m tempted to grab some things other than the mystery bags but I think I may wait until I do my palette declutter and can really see what I might “need”. And Black Friday sales are just around the corner so it’s not like there won’t be more deals!
This was very helpful, especially seeing how you applied the cream shadow. I ordered some purply ones last year because I love light lavender colors, but they were just too purple for me and I applied way too much. I’m going to try a few neutral shades this year.
It’s surprising how little you need! That little dab is all I used for both eyes. I hope you find a color you enjoy!
You look beautiful!! I love the Dragonfly and the pinky first one. I’ve been buying Sydney Grace when they first started as Feather River Body, always has been a great brand with top notch products and customer service.
Yes the customer service is A++ !
Love this!!! ❤❤❤❤😀😀😀😀
Hi Maria!
I have Lake Days and Candle Light and love them. CL is a perfect rose gold.
Ohhhhh I need to look at that one 😍
If the shades are somewhat chunky, once they dry, you can rub your finger over them and it will not disturb it It will just blend it to a smooth shine. I got that from Laura from Sydney Grace.
It's just that ONE shade...and no matter what I do it's just chunky--but considering HOW many I have now (i do have an updated swatch video btw if it's helpful), one fussy one in the buncy isn't bad!!!
@@KeepBeautyReal1 thank you for all your videos! Yes! They help tremendously 💕👍🏻🙏🏻👍🏻
I only have Spiced Cider. It applies very smoothly with the Sigma E58 Cream Color brush, wish is a super soft and flexible version of a flat concealer brush. It helps with the wear time of SG Antique Coin, which is close in color to it. Antique Coin usually fades completely by the end of the day on me. With the cream shadow underneath I have solid color left along the lashline at the end of the day, and on the rest of the mobile lid it sheers out a lot (because there's lid to hood contact. I have very hooded, oily lids), but there's still shadow there, which is not the case if I wear the shimmer alone.
Ill wear it again with eye primer tomorrow, topped with SG Antique Coin again and comment back If I dont forget. Thank you for the swatches! :D Edit: On top Of Milani eye primer it doesnt budge all day.
Yes please let me know! The struggle has to be real with both hooded AND oily lids. I’d love to know your fave primer and cream shadows!
@@KeepBeautyReal1I wore Spiced Cider today right on top of the Milani Eyeshadow primer, and it didn't budge all day. I applied SG Antique Coin on top like before; sweated and everything and still it didn't move :). I only applied the eye primer on the mobile lid.
I usually use the Milani e/s primer under shimmers that tend to fade. If Im not using shimmers I rely instead on a matte concealer & the Elf Shadow stick smudged along the lashlines as a base. I also like using the Danessa Myricks liquid pigment along the lashlines too.
@@tedoymisojos oh yay I’m so glad it worked out well!
I have never used the milani primer! I may have to pick that one up to try once my UD is finally empty. Usually I just use concealer. Thanks for the other faves, I love hearing what people who DONT have desert-dry lids love to use 😉
I just received my first order and swatched out the shade Pier 39 and it’s Gorgeous!!!! Dragonfly is coming in a later order. I ordered a couple more shades (I have about 10 already, several are discontinued). Thanks for showcasing the cream shadows as they really are hidden gems :)
Ooh yay I’m so glad you’re getting dragonfly she’s so pretty!
And you know I went to the site to peek at pier 39 🤣
@@KeepBeautyReal1 🤣
I love the few you sent me and I agree. These are amazing!!!! I’m going to have to ask… which is better SH or DM. I haven’t tried my DM. 🤗💜
Ok this is not a short answer lol. It really depends on which Danessa Myricks formula we are talking about. First of all, Sydney Grace doesn’t make mattes (yet-but I’d love them to!!!), and the DM in general are (for me) basically bulletproof. SG are…bullet resistant 🤣. But SG are so easy to blend and work with. Danessa’s mattes and creams are fairly easy to blend, but the metallic and foil formulas are a little more picky and are definitely more textured. But they have a lot of fun finishes and colors. You would hate the foil formula for sure. They all dry down faster than SG (especially the foils). So they’re not as beginner friendly. Usually I tell people to try a matte Colorfix first as a base and then If they enjoy that then to try a cream or metallic. The SG are less expensive but there are less options.
Thank you for coming to my Cream Shadow Ted Talk. 🤣
@@KeepBeautyReal1 I definitely didn’t expect it to be a short response 😂 I need to give the DM ones a try. I love the SG ones you sent me. I think I see a SG suggestion email in the works. I need to play some more with them 🤗💜 BTW I love a Ted talk from you any day 😂🤗💜
Catching up on this and swatching my two creme shadows along with you. Debating on picking up a couple more....sigh!
I did 🙈 yesterday the extra 5 percent seemed to cause me to throw caution to the wind 🤦🏻♀️
@@KeepBeautyReal1 ohhh can’t wait to see which ones you got! I got 3, one of them multichrome. Just as I decided I want California Coast, it sold out… of course that didn’t stop me from getting something else 🙈🙈🙈
Thank you! Do you think Splendor could be used as a liquid eyeliner?
Now there’s a fun idea! I think it might work-but you’d have to do two layers to get full opacity since the formula on this one is thinner. At least that’s what I’m guessing!
@@KeepBeautyReal1 Yep, I see what you mean. Thanks!
Me before watching this video: I think I'll get one cream shadow, maybe
Me after watching this video: I MUST HAVE THEM ALL!
Hahaha it’s dangerous! If it makes you feel better-I put a couple of your single picks on my wishlist 😉🤣
@@KeepBeautyReal1 aw, that does! Hope you love what you get
I forgot which ones I ordered last week. Just 5 of them. I figured they are affordable enough.
Yes they are a really great price! And this way it will be a fun surprise for you to open 😉 I just saw the email that my order was delivered today!
I love Sydney Grace but I'm in the UK and the shipping is pretty horrendous - so I only ever make one order a month (usually the monthly bundle along with any past products that I find interesting) - so I'll only be shopping on one day - and I'm tussling with which one! :D
I totally understand! Shipping is just getting crazy!
Did you see they just released the sneak peeks of the mystery bag choices? I have a feeling I won’t be buying as many as usual…so I may be spending a little of that allotment on another day 🤔
I’m picking up a few cream shadows for this year’s sale the trick is which day!!! Mystery bag day or the 30% off day. 😬
I get it! It’s hard to choose 😉
I have cliff jumping, candlelight, warm glow, pier 39, splendor, and awakening. I'm DEFINITELY ordering more during the christmas in July sale - either today for the bonus $50 of free product, or 7/30 for the 30% off (if I do this, saving like $25+ on the shadows I want will allow me to buy a $30 mystery bag). I can't decide! I'll spend basically the same in either, and get a similar amount of products with both options, I just don't know which one to go with! Probably going to wait til 7/30 - temptalia swatched everything in the red mystery bags so I'm at least sure that I'll use all the products in the light one. Although I'm still not 100% lol oh well
Not to promote my own vids, but my three mystery bag unboxing video just went up! I got them this morning and tried to get it finished in case people wanted to see more!
I think the 30% off is a great deal if you already have a good SG collection. That way you really get to pick exactly what to add 💗
Do you have any of the palettes, such as Tiny Marvels, the Temptalia Trio? If so, is the formula the same as the singles. I'm eyeing those for the sale since I have all the singles I want atm.
I do have tiny Marvels and two of the temptalia(given to me by Milly).I love love love tiny marvels. The temptalia ones are also great quality but when I pull either of them out I feel like I have to add another palette to make a balanced look. Mostly because I always want one more light/medium matte, and an inner corner highlight.
💚
Hello Sandy! Happy Sunday!
@@KeepBeautyReal1 Now its happy Monday 😊 to you.
I have 2 of these but just can't make it work. Still keeping them and trying. They may leave by my next declutter
Oh Mary I’m so sorry to hear that. Can I ask what shades you have? What seems to be the issue? I just LOVE them, so if there’s any way I could be helpful in problem solving I’d love to help!
@@KeepBeautyReal1 shades blossom and awakening. Crease badly and just look so chunky on the eye.
@@maryfletcher3906 I will say awakening wasn’t my fave-I think I mentioned that in this video too(I felt like the formula had maybe separated). I haven’t tried blossom though but I see it’s being discontinued? So I wonder if there was a formula issue? I have never had any of mine crease.
I did see here in the comments that someone with very oily lids found that they work really well over the milani eye primer. I usually just put mine directly on clean lids with no concealer or anything under. And a little goes a long way. I’m sorry if they don’t work for you!
@@KeepBeautyReal1 I really though about getting some more, maybe I just have the ones that did not work. I am just not sure I am that invested to try more.
Sydney Grace doesn’t use glitter but they do use Mika opposed to glitter that’s why you can rub your finger over them once they dry down to bring it to a high shine
oh did i say glitter? I probably meant sparkle-- I do know it's mica. I'll have to try polishing then like that!
@@KeepBeautyReal1 I’m sorry I don’t mean it offensively. I know you too are a Sydney Grace lover & a makeup professional. I want to be sure I didn’t sound harsh or judgmental. 👍🏻💕🙏🏻
@@michellecaudill7936 oh no not at all! I didn’t take it that way!!!
@@michellecaudill7936 oh although the other day I went to try the buffing you were talking about but it just started rubbing it all off 🤪 so I’m wondering if maybe I waited too long after it had dried down.
I have not tried Sydney Grace shadows but I have quite a bit from other brands so I don't think I'll be shopping the sale.
Totally understand 😉 I have a feeling that the mystery bags will just be too hard for me to resist, but I think that’s all I’m snagging.
@@KeepBeautyReal1 Mystery Bags always tempt me to but I know I did my fair share of damage already this week. 😆
@@sandyandchance It’s smart of you to pace yourself 😉 I did buy bags today…but basically 1/2 of what I did last year!
