- The NRL has swiftly reversed its decision to celebrate Michael Jennings' 300th NRL game following vehement backlash from fans and sports commentators, notably including Daily Telegraph and Fox League commentator Buzz Rothfield. The controversy erupted not over Jennings' past use of performance-enhancing drugs but rather his history of multiple counts of s*xual assault against his wife in 2014, for which he never served time or compensated his wife.
