The PRS and Vintage Guitar Show in Tokyo two weeks ago was very exciting. There were so many guitars on display, the total value easily exceeded 500 million yen.
Hey Alex, I really enjoyed the video. I like how you plugged each one in and we can hear it and find out more about them. As far as my favorite guitar of the 3, I would say the Ibanez Iceman II IC50 but I think you guys have already sold it because I didn't see on your website.
That Jr. Damn. I don’t use wiggle sticks either. But that would be hard to let go. lol. And yeah, I do like seeing just a few guitars but more detailed and played in these videos.
Hey Alex, great playing on this and sweeet finds ! but im struggling to think that the SG is all original because in 65' especially with the 1 pickup model, the were not equipped with a vibrola unless they were the 2 pickup model's. Could be a 1 off that im not aware of (excuse my ignorance if thats the case - not trying to hate) But its just tough to hear that its "all original" being the the history of the SG Specials. Was there a time or could this be a special order sort of case? I love this stuff and its super cool to see and want to educate myself ! Thanks a lot, Cheers.
I was really hoping someone else noticed how much that amp sonded like ass. That junebug is the one but would have sounded so much better through a blackface bandmater or a Gibson GA-6- just my preference.

@@gordonhuskin7337 meets the criteria of vintage 🤷 (I personally consider anything up to 1989 vintage but I know some consider later items vintage as well)
Common consensus online is anything 20-99 years old is considered vintage with items 100+ years old being considered antiques. Time truly flies, I can't bring myself to consider something from the 90's or early 2000's as vintage even though it technically is lol
@aflashfloodofgear IMO 80s gibsons are borderline junk and shouldn't be priced astronomically like 60s and early 70s vintage guitars. I guess technically they fall under the definition of over 30 years old, but they're still not worth the price gouge of say 1960s vintage guitars
@@aflashfloodofgearid say 70's is vintage. 10 more years before the simpsons cartoon is murdered by rick and morty . The simpson cartoon came out in 1989 and its still going and not grey
That Flying V is gorgeous
Oh that V!! Whew. Wish it were me.

The best thing about those vibrola SGs is , you can run all the strings like a wrap tail except the B string. The make great B bender guitars.
@@nickl2883 true!!
Never thought of that, that's pretty genius!
I didnt know you played dem guitah so well. Bravo!!!

Correct me if wrong but don’t junior necks get thicker as you progress from 61 to 65?
Love the SG!! What a find!!

Robby Krieger SG would be a Dream Guitar for me so the SG looked hot.
Love that SG! Wow. Does it already have a home? Will it go up on the website? Thanks!👍

That iceman was epic!! I wish Ibanez still made it and the Destroyer with quality tonewoods…
@@tomaslopez2940 I was pleasantly surprised! And yes I’m sure that would do great!

Dump the effects so we can hear the guitar. Any guitar with effects is not the true sound of the guitar.
