everything is great except the lack of full size USB A. this is a crime considering its a thinkpad. thats a major fail. wonder if if they can add it before release
Except for the top protruding part of the webcam and those useless leather casing it looks great.But need a usb type A,trackpad positioning should be in the midddle instead of left.
I actually like this, for the people who's don't really like the Thinkpad look but want the Thinkpad security and professional software features, this is really good option. Very clean and minimalistic.

A trackpoint without dedicated buttons and the track nub sensitized to trigger menus .... sounds like Lenovo wants to become "Apple" ... whats next ? No right-click ??? Having 3-buttons has PURPOSE! Those of us who rely on right-clicks for menu and hold-middle button know that IT IS IMPORTANT !

USB type A is dead. Just make the move to USB C. Yeah, you'll need to use a dongle every now and then but it's just a minor inconvenience

It has trackpad buttons, they are just hidden inside the trackpad towards the top like all Thinkpads.
This Z series is basically the Lenovo's answer to XPS15 and Macbooks. Those trackpoint and dedicated buttons are not for everyone.
It's for Z series, not all Thinkpad. Go buy other models if you want that.
