- Mohan Charan Majhi was on Tuesday picked by the party leadership to become the BJP's first Chief Minister in Odisha. A firebrand tribal leader, Majhi is known for his performance in the Odisha Assembly. Majhi, who has held the Keonjhar Assembly seat since 2019, won it in the 2024 Assembly election by a margin of 11,000 votes. And this is the reason to prove Naveen Patnaik for being the highest tenure of CM records! Although we have also feels good to have CM as Mohan Majhi, unlike UP, Bihar and other several states who always create controversy for being Castism, Religion on politics. I was in college when Naveen babu became CM for first time, that day till now ppl recognized Odissa as a poor state of India.
