This photo is actually of Clark Gable & Marlene Dietrich, shown with DeMille at the 1936 Hollywood premier of Lux Radio Theater's "The Legionnaire and the Lady". The Lux Radio Theater started in New York, in 1934. They moved production to Hollywood in 1936 and with DeMille as host, "The Legionnaire and the Lady" premiered as the first Lux Radio show performed entirely in Hollywood.
