Thanks to all of you for sharing your thoughts and glad the videos will do more than a 2 hour ski lesson will give. Remember . " I Think Therefore for I am." ,
I didn't notice any description like roll or tip your feet or push your knees into the hill to create edge angle and pressure. How would you explain how you get your skis on edge? Sometimes the seeing is sufficient but I'm just curious.
Tess is one more better video called Carving ski techniqe updated. Its in my videos. But important is that you have perfect basic parallel turn and then you go step more to keep turn on edges. Just focus that pressure comes on front part of the ski edge.
@@miromiro Great. There are undoubtedly many ways of describing the method. As far as I'm concerned, the simpler the better and usually the most effective. It is in your capable hands.
Tess simple as possible.imagine we turn right. We need some speed. Ski hip wide imagine that you hold ball between knees. Allways same angle od both knees. So starting the turn slightly going up and upperbody forward direction center of turn relising pressure from ski, in second skis are flat on snow and you are starting to change pressure to outside ski. First edge with big toe press and push shin knee forward inside, imagen you build pressure on edge 15cm under ski tip puting ski on edge but both ski the same movement just more presure on outside ski, then knees hip to center of the turn and left sholder bit leaning to walley and now when ski is on edge go slowly down and let the ski drives you till end of turn. You need some core tension to that you not finish in back position. Sooo it is bit long explanation. And this type of turn is only on edge. If you have long ski like 185 cm then we need to turn ski with feet to and later we put ski on egde. So sorry for a bit long explanation have fun.
The front guy gets good angles, and has nice counter balance and counter action in his upper body. My main critique would be way too much of an up movement during his transition.
Yaka95 so how good skier you are?, i think it is good ,what is your skiing style 😀, you have pro model if you are racer, is little bit harder and faster ski
I can't really say how good I am. I can carve nice and good but I still have a lot of progress to learn when it comes to steeps. Sadly I dont have a recording of me.
No. You can even start turning on the inside ski and transfer the pressure to the outer ski while cornering. Allows quicker turns but supposition has to be wider.
I also noticed he was putting his weight on his inside ski. But also noticed he had quite a bad posture, broken at the waist. Very weak position. That's two reasons he was having trouble keeping those turns tight.
Those skis are too close and he has a weird angle on the upper body. You dont orient yourself down but ride the carve centered on your skis. Its just like a motorbike mate! you can bend, but you are messing the preassure. You actually should aim for 50/50%

"Speed Is Your Friend". Best part? Skiing by example and not standing there telling/talking about it. Love your vids, always have.
thanks man, my goal in videos, simple, basic, and connected few important tips with good energy to get motivation :)
Waist shoulders and head are not in alignment, arms are to the side not out in front
People shouldn't ski that fast unless they are very good, and certainly not around other skiers. Those are some nice arcs.
hey man! i miss you uploading videos, they are really helpful. I hope you post some soon!
Working on it! so many ski lessons but will find time
Let ski instructors do their job and enjoy your skiing without telling not true technical details!
truly a lovely video and thanks for sharing !
Thanks it one more video about carving so try to watch it too
Nice shot as always. Looks like snowboarding. Thx for sharing.

,
do it step by step first on easy blue but catch some speed before turning, skiing to slow is bad for carve skiing. Happy New Year
1:59 the first rides on the heels, on the back. second skier is going right
Green guy, too much counter, back seat, park and ride, have to work on this and will be much better 😉
好大的弯,用的什么板子

It is feet knees hips and all the upper body in movement to get good turn. Look please video carving technique updated.
Tess i need to make video about your question. It is simple but complex to explain

Always a treat to watch your videos.
As a beginner I enjoy your videos :-)
your video is always great
Beautiful music and excellent demonstration!
thankyou
I like to ski with you..why not..lovely..
Looks so weird upper body and arm position, just my opinion tho.
greata7x couldn’t agree more, the guy in green looks good but the guy following just looks weird
M VB l thought the same point!
both look weird. Thanks for sharing though

Good torso orientation downhill. Good emphasis on weighting and compression.
Thanks 😊 is excellent!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Can wait ski season
Super
It's so easy
Me when I get to the slope: HOW DO I PIZZA???
Thank you...
Its gonna be new video on this theme soon
I hope very soon as I ski again next Thursday 5th - first time in 8 years 😁😀 Your vids have been very helpful!!
too close skies for real carving
Apreciate it. Thank u
Hey Mr Miro what do you think of the HEAD i.Speed?
Yaka95 so how good skier you are?, i think it is good ,what is your skiing style 😀, you have pro model if you are racer, is little bit harder and faster ski

Yaka95 i speed is good ski for medium or advanced skier, so if you like fast skiing buy bit longer ski
Thanks for your answer.
thanks this is really useful but what do you mean when you say use rebound to change pressure to new outside ski? what is rebound?
Its force which is coming out from ski. So ski is elastic and when you push it hard it gives you a bit kick back like mini trampoline.
@@miromiro awesome thanks chap i will practice this when i go skiing!!!
It’s like golf. What can be so hard about putting a little ball in a hole in the ground.
Looks so easy ......
Until you try it !
Yes forever learning and failing and then one day feeling is there
nice but skis are too close for carving
hi
hi man
Nice turns
Omg. THAT IS NOT IT! Don't watch this video!
Looks like you're putting too much pressure on your inside ski
No. You can even start turning on the inside ski and transfer the pressure to the outer ski while cornering. Allows quicker turns but supposition has to be wider.
Exactly! Best tip any skier can ever get. It's never too early to get early. Late is ugly, unless riding your tails is the goal, haha.
I also noticed he was putting his weight on his inside ski. But also noticed he had quite a bad posture, broken at the waist. Very weak position. That's two reasons he was having trouble keeping those turns tight.
Square!
Wider stance and relaxed upper body otherwise 85% quality

da ridere!!!!
Finalmente qualcuno che lo dice. Una dimostrazione pessima. Poi la controrotazione del busto non si può vedere
Strange skiing position and not optimal.
ruclips.net/video/sMHXxNqKd_E/видео.html this is better video
Nice vid, left a sub =D
what a body position... all this angles and twisting... second rider is definitely a much better carver =)
Sorry, but second driver have bad upper half body position.. He is too much in front..
1:59 the man in yellow sits on the pope
too tight upper body
congratilations ,enjoy it never mind the coments, opinios are like assholes everybody has one and some of them they are biger assholes they have two
Video sucks, no audio instruction, just captions? Lost my interest quickly....
Carving updated video with Kaja is betterone
park&ride without any flow........
Leaning back! Ruining it!
I am a ski boy
Non ci siamo
E' completamente seduto, la curva va fatta con gli angoli aperti.

the second man can't ski
The best tutorial on RUclips to improve skiing. Great job!
На заднице сидя....

Always a treat to watch your videos.
