For my Colts Latu was our most sure pick since Big Q.. 24 sacks, 34 tfls in 2 yrs with pass rush grades with the Bosas.. A good pass rusher in college normally is in the NFL barring no injuries, move up n grab cooper and it’s a A+ draft!
Vikings trading up seems weird but probably means either Las Vegas or Denver wanted that n.10 pick so dont mind it to get their guy. Overall great trade from Kwesi although gave up a lot of later picks which might hurt them

My guess is vikings thought Denver would jump them so they wanted to get Mccarthy so they would be stuck with nix
i’m not a Fashanu guy either at all but i will say the idea of him learning behind Tyron Smith is pretty perfect. he’s got all the traits but his technique is pretty lacking so if he can learn some technique from Smith then the Jets actually may have something…when i think about it, i don’t even know if there’s a better team Fashanu realistically could’ve landed on. but yea i would’ve for sure went with Fuaga, Fataunu, or Mims regardless

Maybe a warm take here - I love Carolina moving up one spot for Legette. Love the player, and they secure a 5th year option. This is actually the pick I wanted to see Buffalo make.

Gute has always made head scratching picks, but theyve all worked out other than stokes but that was only due to iniury.

Fashanu is the best pass protecting tackle in the draft which holds more value than ever in the league now. I don't think the Jets were particularly interesting taking another massive run blocker like Latham who came with a lot of similar questions as Becton (although I like his landing spot with the Titans).
As a Raider fan who is usually overly critical of every move they make, I absolutely love the Bowers pick. It’s so foreign to me to take BPA. Getsy runs a lot of 12 personnel, and Bowers doesn’t just line up in-line but outside and in the slot as well (especially in the slot), so plenty of room for he and Mayer to eat. Not to mention a YAC machine like Bowers is just what Gardner Minshew needs since he doesn’t have the strongest arm. Tackle class is deep so I feel confident the Raiders can still add tackle help in the draft. And if push comes to shove, Munford has done a well enough job as a swing tackle his first two seasons to take over the starting RT job. B+ pick.

Jared verse was a stand up edge most of the year and he’s definitely the most powerful edge
I was hoping that the Steelers would draft a Center because they need a dominate center which they haven't had since Pouncy. However this pick makes sense because of good old Mr. Broncos Nation Let's Ride is a Left handed QB.

Whoever the Patriots drafted at QB was/is going to be a bust. Not because the player sucks, but because the situation is awful. It will take a generational talent to lift that dumpster fire up, not sure if Maye can be that guy? Which is kinda crazy because before he went to the pats I thought he would have a good chance to be great. 🤷♂️

Dude really is slow though let's be honest, and when a speed rusher comes at him whenever he plays, he's gonna get beat straight up. And if it's a pass rusher with speed and power, they will just run him over cause he will be off balance, and he will be on the ground and so will Aaron Rodgers. Latham, fuaga, and fautanu all better, more athletic, more versatile as far as where they can play, this is a L for New York
@@Jrs-tl4kk Naa. I’m a Michigan fan. I saw what he could do for three straight years. And mind you, Michigan had one of the best DLines in the country during that time. And while living in Florida, I caught a good amount of Bama games too. I’m not sure how you could say that Olu is ‘slow’ and Latham is ‘quick’ Latham struggled against speed rushes as well as the bull rush. Great frame. Decent motor.. but I don’t see how anyone could say he’s a better prospect than Fashanu.

I think the Raiders should truly look at FSUs Jordan Travis. They should be able to grab him in the 4th or most likely 5th to 6th round because of his injury. Let's not forget before the injury his numbers were pretty freaking impressive.

Now he's not very tall and his body of work is limited but he's a very smart QB ( which as a Gators fan kills me to say ) and I'm almost positive that if it wasn't for the injury he'd be in Washington , NE , or Atlanta ( sorry Atl what a horrible waste of a pick ) .
Go back and look at his tape & you'll see he was FSUs offense plus he doesn't have to start because of you guys having Gardner ( bye the way I'm a Jags fan & I'm still pissed we lost him you've got an awsome dude ) so he can heal & learn

How do you not have Joe alt as a great pick for the chargers? Like yeah they could have had nabers, but we saw the chargers lose games last year due to Justin Herbert not having time to even look at all down field, so for me I feel it's a great pick, because now the outside of the line is more secure, they bring in the Jonah Williams, they are building a wall so justin Herbert can actually have a little more time, and if we are being honest all they need to do is trade up in the second round with either Buffalo or New England and try and get Roman Wilson to play the slot, and have the other two WR on the outside, I think they are still good personally, and I hope they can get a power style running back in the draft as well, and then tbh they would be a complete team really, they have a great defense so I think they can be a playoff team next year

No OL left dallas took guyton right before us. In a league that’s pass happy and KC loading up on xavier worthy and hollywood brown a 4.3 corner is ideal
I do see the point of getting a QB that is ready to go in case Cousins goes down and it won’t stop your playoff push. But what happens if Penix balls out? Will you then put Cousins back in? No your not gonna take your young QB out if he’s rolling so that’s why the pick doesn’t make sense.

I don’t know what to think about Bo Nix as a Broncos fan. We haven’t seen success and progression in forever. I prey to the football gods Nix is not a bust like the laundry list of QBs we have had since Manning.
I'm thinking Bo is either Super Bang or Super Bust without a middle ground. I just think the offense he ran was gimmicky in a sense but he does show talent.

I’m not surprised at all that the Chargers took a T. I knew Jim wouldn’t draft a WR. In his entire coaching career he’s never had a 1,000 yard receiver! Not at San Diego, Stanford, San Francisco, or Michigan. Jim builds up front and loves to pound the football.
Prediction: Chargers end up drafting Blake Corum to be the bell cow.
Realistically what were the broncos suppose to do… if the Seahawks, Saints, & Raiders were willing to go into top 10 for MPjr and broncos passed on Bo Nix at 12… one of those teams would 100% selected him tbh

I don't understand how people are overvaluing JJ McCarthy... He is a game manager with less upside than Cousins... He can't make the throws... Justin Jefferson isn't going to be able to bail him out all the time. He was carried by a RB duo... yeah Bo Nix had some rough years at Auburn but he really put it together at Oregon... they didn't have to trade up to get him, and he can make all the throws you need on the field at the pro level. Penix Jr has an injury history and old, but if it weren't for the Falcons taking him he has the highest ceiling in this draft by far. (But the Falcons taking him with Cousin's contract is just the worst move but hey, the falcons have been known to make really weird decisions with high draft picks, bur they needed defensive help desperately for several years and keep taking luxury picks high in the first with incredible talent on the board.)
But as a Steelers fan I'm happy with it because it pushed the board to a spot where at pick 20 you had your pick at an OT who should not have been there, the best C in the draft which was the biggest need (and must be addressed early tomorrow because they don't have a center on the roster) or either of the top 2 CB's (The lowest of their needs but still a need none the less with two players of phenomenal value...I had Mitchell edging out Arnold . The only fault in his game was that he played at Toledo... he's faster, taller, bigger, more versatile, and didn't have another high end corner playing across from him). They Shouldn't shouldn't have been there. Ultimately He will be playing right tackle, his height is short but his wingspan is ridiculous (its larger than Alt's who is 6'8"), he is a complete mauler with absolute insane athleticism, and Penix was a lefty so his duties in college were more that of a right tackle. First time they have ever gone back to back to back O line. Broderick Jones was drafted last year to be the LT and its his natural position. The one game he actually got to play there was his best... and Moore Jr. was (literally) the worst starting tackle in all of pro football...so bad that he didn't even make the top 64 Tackles.... two backups were graded higher than he was.
My BIG fears though are that center is thin and you HAVE to trade up tomorrow to get Frazier or JPJ. That required most likely getting rid of one of the 3rd rounders and WR and CB are also both needs by the end of tomorrow, and that since Munchak left the offensive line coaching has been atrocious. I am really surprised that Pay Meyer was not replaced, and that Tomlin lately has been trying to fit square pegs in round holes... a LOT of players were playing out of position last year. They defense was decimated by injuries... but lately his utilization of talent has not been good. Demarvin Leal's regression... I mean the year before he was drafted he was the unanimous #1 Edge, but then his stock tanked playing him out of position to help his team in his final year. Tomlin is still playing him out of position. The raw tools of many of these players they have gotten have been elite but the coaching has been so poor that they aren't developing or utilizing the players correctly. I mean Pickett being the exception, that was a horrible pick, but look at Dotson. Great first year, massive regression as the scheme change made him not a fit...goes to the rams becomes one of the highest paid Guards in the league and an all pro... because they utilized him correctly. I just really hope that they move Jones to LT and have Troy start at right... Trade Moore JR to a team where he will actually be a scheme fit (because like Dotson, he showed his potential and has regressed ever since Canada was hired), and try to move up for your center without getting rid of any day 2 picks.

I don’t agree with a lot of this. How is guyton a best pick. Such a reach with better players on the board, it’s nice they pick up a 3rd but cmon. Xavier worthy is such a reach also and giving up assets to go reach is just meh. How is Joe alt and amarius mins in the interesting? Those are very good picks for both teams. Chargers need to become physical and the bengals can’t keep letting burrow get hurt. Questioning nix and fashanu is crazy too.
Hating 1 spot trade ups makes no sense, the broncos could afford to go up to the top 5 to steal JJ but the could hop from 12 to 10 so they need to secure their guy. Guyton growing on you but fashanu being questionable is wild.
