I cannot count how many I had to correct employees or contractors from doing this unsafe act. Reason is they'd have to go get the longer one which they had. Just plain laziness.
Literally everybody has done this. Yes, it's not smart to do, and avoid at all costs (bring correct equipment for the job). But there'll be that one instance where it's necessary to do so, just be extremely careful.
Its safer and you have more balance on the top step than you do on the next step down, try to lean your shins on the top step for leverage and over teaching most of the time, this is actually safer. And if you can't do this safely you probably can't do much safely so maybe go ride a desk for a living. Also if you lose your ballance this way you have less of a chance of getting tied up in the ladder, you can simply step off or kick the ladder out of the way so your not coming down on it. You lose balance on one of the lower steps your going down with the ship.
Literally everyone has done that. What are you going to do? Run to another floor grab a 8 or worse 10 foot ladder? Im willing to bet you've done that your self.
Hes in the tbar which he can steady himself on. I hate that stupid rule. Stand on the top of the ladder who cares. Just don’t be unstable on a ladder in general and you’ll be fine. It’s common sense
Yeah the old man, everyone listen to him 😂😂😂😂 I'm sure he gets the most work done 😂😂😂 Edit I meant he gets the most tiktoks done in a day standing there

Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) is the name of the surgery for compound fractures of the upper or lower extremities secondary to falls.
It’s not worth it!

Just bringing a reminder that it’s not safe. Take the time to go grab another ladder.
Yeah cause the hospital stay has always been so much shorter and expensive, than getting the proper equipment. Its called being lazy.

Agreed
That cap isn't rated for the same weight as the rest of the ladder and will fail. Don't be cheap or lazy when it comes to your safety.
@@psywipedthe fact that its not a wooden ladder is more concerning😅 also the ride to work is probably more dangerous.😮
It happens
I don’t see a problem 😁
I was always told only TOOLS &FOOLS Stand on top of ladders
The truants told u that.
Not even any fall gear on either... Just reckless 😂😂
Hey I know him!
Yep that’s Josh!
Kick the ladder out from underneath him
That’ll teach him!
I mean instead of recording and pointing at him why not hold the ladder instead and help ensure more safety?!
Provide him with a taller ladder than? You want him to do what he's gotta do or not?
Osha 😂😂😂😂doesn't matter when u trying to get it done

Well said!
Tell em instead of us.
Why don’t you say something when you see something. Instead you make a video.
Visuals are helpful as well!
MYOB. Recording or photographing something like this might cause a loss of tooth.
Everyone does this
