What would it be like to spend a day on Earth in such a distant future? Trough looking at several long term influences we now can answer that question.

The sad thing is that we’ll be gone and nothing will know or care that we even existed.
Aries God of War, Man of Peace. Four billions years is a lot of time.. especially for humans to develop interplanetary, or even interstellar, colonies. Not a promise, but it is a possibility seeing how fast humans are able to develop technology.
why should they care about your feelings? Feelings don't mean shit in the universe.
SHD Interesting...
Doesn’t matter the world is ending soon so everything won’t exist from creation
we won't be gone some peeps may have travelled to earth's twin and colinize it and turned into earth the second and there will be life but we need women tooto have fams
'Everything if you look at it long enough, won't have a happy ending' thats life..
Life isn't about eternity. It's about enjoying your few years and making them count for your race.
aye yo nigga what you mean by "your race" mahn
SHD LOL

Sad to know that this beautiful planet won't exist in future :(
There won't be anyone who would say it's beautiful.
The earth is formed from stars and planets that were destroyed 4.5 billion years ago. For all we know the earth is made of matter from a world that was destroyed. Our solar system may kick it all off again.
There will be life on Titan
@@StanSwan finally one with brains that figured out that there's a cycle to all this
"The heavens will pass away with a loud noise and the elements of the earth will melt, and all works of man will be burned up..."
I wonder how many other planets this has already happened to, and we'll never know
This make me feels good, thanks
Eshan Avanti couldn’t you catch the sarcasm smh 😂😂
i actually didnt catch the sarcasm tbh.
@@moose_squirrel_colombo5786 Sarcasm??? All I could see here was an asshole who would be happy to see earth die
sevan madatyan why should anyone care? Earth is just a planet and if humanity survives after earth dies then we wouldn’t remember it for the pretty world it was. There are probably plenty of other equally or more beautiful and fertile planets as Earth.
I know right? I enjoy watching videos about different planets. I think it makes us realise how we think that we are permanent. But the only thing that is permanent is change. And newness. And that's the beauty of the universe ❤️
This had me thinking that maybe the reason we haven’t found life or civilisations on any other exoplanets close enough for us to discover is because they’ve already moved on to other, farther planets, and what will happen to our Earth has already happened to their planet, leaving us no trace or clue that they were ever even there. It’s kinda scary to think we’ve been left behind, without even knowing it, and might never be able to catch up.
Imagine 4 billion years in the future from now, someone is thinking what happened 4 billion years ago.
Wow
earth will be 8.5 billion years old
ya
And molten
Yes it will be time of retirement.
Those 5 minutes of the video passed rather quickly =\
Welp, back to studying
Hopefully humans would colonize other planets by then.
My guess is,according to the speed we are advancing in technology, in 100k years we will at least already perfected speed of light capabilities on spaceships.
And already started colonizing a couple of planets. And in one million we could terraform suns.
That's my theory.
Hopefully not.
@@ghosteclipse8875 yeah bro..in just the last few decades we went from getting a small Russian satellite into space for the first time to getting some humans on Mars in a few years ( Spacex Initiative) ..hopefully by that time we will have advanced WAY AHEAD in terms of technology ..able to colonise many other planets and travel to other nearby solar systems.
Are you a joker ?
Saturn's moon Titan and Trappist 1 e
time to spend time on saturn's moons for a while ugh
A day on Mars 4 billion years into the future please.
marshalltrn nope. With the red sun, mars would be at least 2000 degrees. It is said, that Saturn moons, would be habitable.
@@samdiaz1206 mars would be at -10 degrees Celsius which humans can survive
@@ConflictGaming1 dude. Mars may be like that 2 billion years in the future, but In four, Mars would be on FIRE
@@samdiaz1206 I feel like Mars would be 50C
@Fernando Velasquez Mars will be very hot in 4 billion years into the future since the Sun will be a Red Giant by that point. Titan, Saturn's largest moon, will be habitable by that time.
I'm sure we will find a new planet.. Idk, humans have advanced very quickly.. Anything may be possible.
Alexis LaRock
Hopefully not, as we would destroy the nature of the new planet too :/
TheHirade Yes.. That is why I vote democrat.. :p
Alexis LaRock
So I :)
If we are still around in 4billion years we will be so incredibly advanced not much will be able to stop us.
TheHirade Everything gets destroyed in the end supposedly anyway so what does it matter
4 Billion years ago : 6 Hrs
2 Billion years ago : 15 Hrs
500 Million years ago : 22 Hrs
200 Million years ago : 23 Hrs
Today : 24 Hrs / 23.9 Hrs
250 Million years later : 25 Hrs
1 Billion years later : 29 Hrs
4 Billion years later : 40+ Hrs
7 Billion years later : Earth will be engulfed by the Sun....
It might be engulfed by the sun. But that's debatable. In it's final red giant phase or the asymptotic giant phase, it will shed a lot of it's mass. The decrease in mass will decrease it's gravitational pull. Earth might be able to escape incineration, but it will be uninhabitable in the end when the sun becomes a white dwarf.
i don't think that the earth is would swallow by the sun😉😕
Moon
4 billion years later: FINALLY, I CAN PRACTICE 40 HOURS A DA-- Oh wait, we can't live on earth.
Sounds like script of next Hollywood movie with chuck Norris as protagonist.
Won’t the sun have become a red giant in about 4 billion years? In that case the earth and other planets near the sun( like venus, mercury etc.) wouldn’t exist anymore since the sun’s gravity would increase by so much that nearby planets would be ´´absorbed’´ by the sun
Aniqa Munir Gravity of the sun depends on its mass and it is inversely proportional to the distance to it squared. The increase would be affected by smaller distance to it,i guess.
This has nothing to do with the speed of light. The sun will live its life regardless of the speed of light and in 4 billion years it will be alot bigger thus earth will be closer to the sun and get extremely hot and hostile to life.
Besides, why do you think the speed of light changes?
Kaisergarde I thought the same thing lol. Speed of light is a constant and it can be slowed down in different substances.
yea if u know so much still watching the video 4 wat
In 4 billion years the Sun won't quite have gotten to its red giant phase, but it would be about twice as luminous and 30% larger.
What if many years ago there was life on Venus, and although they tried to colonize Earth they were largely unsuccessful. But some simple cells survived and resulted in the earliest forms of life on the planet? Maybe this again will happen with Mars!
This is sad:( I know I as well as everything else will be long gone, but earth is such a beautiful place untouched. Like a lush oasis in space. I feel lucky to have experienced it
All 7 billion+ people agree
untouched?
This is my new favorite RUclips channel. Love the videos. You deserve way more subs. Keep up the good work.
the only living human being in 4 billion years would be Larry king
Eskil Tester And Keith Richards.
qdog568 true
No, it will be Chabelo.
whos Larry king
You call that living?
I love how you can pump these out in a week, with graphics and everything. It's so good.
Phlash 64 a good work ethic carries you a long way.
He uses space engine for footage
Thanks for the video. Beautiful graphics in combination with interesting subjects. Always a pleasure to watch...
I wonder about our consciousness. If there is something to humanity that lives on after dead. And where does it go. If so? Where will our consciousness be by then? There is just something strange and unknown to it. Information can be created but not destroyed. Where does it go? Our memories our ideas. It feels like and this sucks because we feel it but we can't prove it. Some places feel happy or sad so on. Maybe its just not inside us alone. Does it leave a piece of us behind when we experience a place? Is there more to humanity and where does it go when it dies? Will our life energy and information in our minds be carried off somewhere one day. Or do we simply dissipate back into the universe. We are all merely just dead star remains.

Henry Austin in islam it will explain your question..
Aseng Peace I use to be religious. After mainstream religion witchcraft took my attention. Which was interesting, a lot of it had things science can't explain. But I can't fallow a religion, most of that has warped logic. And where religion is, blood shed follows. It's against my personal morals too. Despite others having different ideas and opinions, I treat them the way I want be treated. If they ill treat me I'll hurt them back. Many religion breach love, but some of their gods are unreasonable and violent. As well the people in force violence on those who believe different. They feel its sinful, yet act sinful against what they call sin.
I posted a comment Thanks man. Auto correct bites me sometimes and I overlook it completely.
Henry Austin you're welcome
Perfect start to my day with this upload.
We need you to do a live stream
That would be interesting. I wonder what it would be about? Maybe he could boot up Universe Sandbox and take requests...?
This is amazing , keep the job up
These scenarios need to be put in documentaries. This channel is better than the Vsauce channel.
Better than Vsauce!? Well thank you, but i am definitely not better than someone i look up to
Dreksler Astral with all due respect sir. It is possible for you to be better than your influences and right now with the videos you are popping out, in my humble opinion, you are better than vsauce 😊
Yeah vsauce discusses many arbitrary topics and doesn't show video footage our pics like this channel which makes this channel better than vsauce
I instantly subscribed when I learned that this channel talks about space
I dunno about better than VSauce (I like both channels, myself) but I would SO watch longer documentaries made about some of these subjects. Actually, I remember seeing one that was kind of about this video's exact subject, but not...it was about the sun getting brighter in modern day? Hmm.
This is my favourite space channel! I absolutely love your wondrous take on our solar system. I hope you keep on making videos for a long time and keep improving. Thanks a lot!

This video made me feel so great! Thanks what a great start to the day!
Nice stuff, great job !
The surface isn’t completely solid? So it’s like the earth is one big jello sphere. I like this earth more than the current one
MOLTEN Jello! So, like...a...great big therapeutic mud-bath? With poison? ...yay?
(Personally I'm buying real estate on Enceladus before the prices go up. :P)
It’s the new limited edition flavor! Fire cherry!
it’s lava
I swear i love this channel!!!
Your videos are truly unique and amazing . Keep on making such astral videos .love from India.
Barun Rahi Roy more precisely......from bengal I guess?
Samita Pan guessed quite right but not from Bengal. Grandparents from Bangladesh but later settled in Assam where i stay now .And you are from........?
By that time if the Human Civilization still exist and set away there differences and religious views aside and prosper to science and space exploration we’d already be atleast minimum type 2 or maybe even type 3 civilization we’d be chilling at mars or maybe some other Eart like planet and I predict a giant space arc were we humans will survive. Let’s all enjoy life and live it to the fullest with no regrets and love you’re self and you’re family and well being life is too short all our hard work will end up under molten lava anyways so live it up Amigos !
nice chill space music, Dreksler!
What a emotionally powerful video thank you!
This is really interesting great vid 👍🏻
Very interesting topic today
Another fine look into the crystal ball!
Gotta love the optimism displayed here.
Goodbye everyone... I was nice knowing you during the time we had together on this planet.
Hey, dont be like that. This is in 4 billion years (a very very long time) and you will be dead by now. And maybe, we would have settled on a new planet like earth
Have you ever considered doing a series on different exoplanets like WASP-18b or 55 Cancri e? Great video btw.
This will be interesting to see. I can hardly wait!
I just saw a clip on YT and it was about 1 billion years from now and by then it was all over no life and imagine adding another 3 billions years, we never get a rest.
yayyyyy was just thinking about your channel! :)
Thank God we live only 100 years!!
sandesh muthappa if you are lucky
But then we get reincarnated
how do you know @JerseyyIsHere
Only a mortal would say that.

Thanks for the video brother. Awesome👍👍👍
Love ur channel like I love space!
Boss14 we all love a bit of space.
Dont forget the sun screen since the sun would be a red giant
SPF 10 ^ ( 50!)
It wouldn't be a red giant yet but it would be very close to it earth would be molten and the moon would be too
Well, there’s no ozone maybe so NO SUNSCREEN CAN PROTECT YOU wear a suit at all times
Professor Hawkings is correct; humanity's only survival strategy is to become children of the stars. Though moving to the stars would buy humanity alot of time to grow, evolve and learn; entropy will catch up to us. Regardless, every species goes extinct and humanity will be no exception. Ah, and then steps in God.
And then steps in God?
LMatters1 who doesn’t exist.
He does to those that believe in him
I love your videos🤙💙
Shreya Chaurasia they are good. Come give me a view and let me know what you think.
Me too Shreya!
Looks like Mustafar
Great videos, all this stuff in the solar system is pretty cool, but why not take a look at some exoplanets? :)
good video!
i love your videos just subscribed
The best channel
Really heartbreaking
Yeah
No one will know that in 4 billion years from now we even exist
Unfortunately one does not need to wait four billion years for this future. It is estimated that Earth only has about 500 million years of habitability left.
This is the content I like
Great video keep up the good work
By that time we will be a type 3 civilization
Maybe even type 4
@dihvocfoscocudvyvdd Yeah a type 3 civilization could probably reverse that; could manipulate the mantle to continue the plate tectonics, develop artificial magnetosphere, artificial moon and sun, with that; Earth might survive and live on.
I love your channel
Pause.
Thanks for this now I know what's going to happen
Awesome! Very interesting! Worth spending 5 minutes!!
What about wi-fi?
I’ll have my hotspot hooked up :)
none
Oh it will be 50G internet.
what a wonderful accent.
We'll see!
Your videos are so amazing. You should look towards making some money out of this because your stuff is worth it. Do you have a patreon account?
One little thought: What if that's what happened to a species living on Venus?
What if the species of Venus is what our predecessors called God?
so sad...our beautiful planet will end up like this, but anyway, nothing is eternal, isn't it? everything that appears, will persist for a while and disappeared at the end...and somewhere in this universe will appear new beautiful planets as well all the time, so just cherish what we have now 😍😍😍
"It wouldn't be a happy ending"
What exactly would be a happy ending? It seems like the fact that it ends at all makes it an unhappy ending.
Make more videos!
by that time well figure out how to tow the earth further out in habitable zone
Instead of towing the earth to a habitable zone, how about just fucking go to a different planet. Saves us more time and resources
...no it doesn't?
4 billion years is a loooooong time. humans as we know it are getting exponentially smarter every day. approximately 100 things are being discovered every week or so i think, and that number is only growing :D
Lets take Earth and push it somewhere else!
beeqool Hey, our moon was brought to us (apparently) so what you said could be possible xD
You guys be going to far ahead
And awesome vid keep up the awesome vida
Great video. Can I make a question? Moon slows down the rotation of the earth, right? Since the moon is getting away from us, then shouldn't the day last less? I'm asking this, because you mentioned that a day on earth will probably last more than 40 hours.
In short answer, moon closs, earth fast rotation, less hours. Moon far away, earth rotate slow, day slow
where is the energy coming from for the earth to spin faster?
Well instead of spending trillions of dollars on military, people should now have some sence that theycneed to take space seriously by uniting and exploring and inventing as 1.
Value every second.
These video are pretty interesting to watch, but this one especially, because that's the first time I've heard that aong used on a video outside of my own ones xD even though it's freely available through the RUclips music library, I've surprisingly never heard it on another channels video for like 6 years :o until now! :P
But even if we travel to another moon or planet in the solar system, we would still need to get out of the Milky Way, as the sun starts the red giant phase and then explotes and turns into a white dwarf, we still need to make out on where to find a new star with an habitable planet for the rest of eternity
Part of that makes no sense
4 Billion 6 Hours
2 Billion 15 Hours
500 Million 22 Hours
200 Million 23 Hours
Today 24 Hours
+250 Million 25 Hours
+1 Billion 28 To 29 Hours
+4 Billion 40 Hours
We're here for a good time, not a long time.
well done man your learnt to say your "th" keep doing the good work!
I’ll still be on Earth Smoking a blunt somewhere cooling😎
All nighters eh? Just make sure switch sides when the sun rises
How do we know this is true? We can’t even predict our own weather
You making this video sounds like I'll see such a thing in my life time.... 4.5 billion years later of course
Your voice so awesome
This is actually before the sun enters the red giant phase?
Ohio Dan yes
Yap..
what if the moon wasn't tidally locked to the earth?
Alyssa M It won’t be in a few million years
then we would see the far side of the moon
My favourite music
Wonderfull
Maybe in 4 billion years into the future, Half Life 3 would be released.
can you write Spending a Day on Earth 8 Billion Years Into the Future
Earth won’t exist in 8 billion years.
Game over man... game over
This isnt entirely true, becuase if humanity succeeds in its quest to evolve and not destroy itself, in 4 billion years we would be more than a galactic empire and would have almost certainly saved earth, becuase it is our home and oasis and I like to think, that we will preserve it like a national park or some historical sight.
"what will the urt be like in 4 billion years"
So after 4 billion years Urt will transform into Earss.
Mayank Singh Rajput Ahahaha
Next Video : Spending a day on Titan 5 Billion years into the future
Don't forget, Voyager 1 and 2 will still be out there carrying on the legacy of humanity.
