In the past they fell into the wrong hands and it caused Rune Wars - a devastating conflict, that almost destroyed the entire world (the leader of the Black Rose mentioned Rune Wars to Mel in episode 8 of season 2). Ryze collects these World Runes and stores them away, so other people wouldn't use them again. He is an incredibly powerful mage, one of the strongest characters in this Universe.

Arcane S2E7, Ekko wakes up in another reality. We know that different versions of character exists in other realities. These skin lines are basically like that, where you see different versions of Jinx are her in other realities.
Not really, ekko wakes up in a different TIMELINE, not in a different reality. Skinlines are kinda like parallel universes, but they aren't canon to the main league lore, the characters can't ever enter these, bcs they're entirely separate and only exist to sell in game cosmetics

1:00 - I'm not sure if you read my comments on 2x9. While crows are often seen as an ill omen and linked to death, the six eyed raven introduced at the end of Arcane S2 is a setup for Noxus’s Swain. Swain uses ravens as spies, which come from a demon of secrets named "Raum" who serves him. Ravens and crows are a recurring motif throughout League, as seen in this video because of Swain. They help Swain see visions, gather secrets, and broker deals on his behalf. Those birds are the physical manifestation of Raum's presence, essentially serving as his "eyes".

Oh god so many things to say :D My fav champ is Jinx so i was lucky that she was the main character of the first show. But there are about 100+ intresting and well written characters in league lore. You can read about most of them in Leagues website. Also champs for you are, Leona (you saw her, brown hair heavy golden armor) and her counterpart and lover and enemy Diana, they are technincly demigods called "Aspects", representing the sun and the moon. (And they are in many cinematics)

Fun fact: aside from Ekko/Jinx, the most popular ship with Jinx is Jinx/Lux, mainly because of the Starguardian Universe, where both of them have skins (Starguardian Universe is the one where characters look like Sailor Moon 😅, you watched a few cinematics of it in this video). P.S. You should ABSOLUTELY watch "You really got me" cinematic, it has Jinx, Lux, and Yasuo in it. You gonna love it 😊

Keep in mind, As stated in Jayces Trail in season one episode 2 'Piltover was founded as a haven from the warring of mages'. So there's not a lot of magic in Piltover, but the world of Runeterra has a ton of magic in it. Also, there are only a few sentient mortal races in Runeterra: Human, Vestaiya, and Dragon. Humans are self explainitory. Vestaiya come in many breeds, but any time you see a humanoid animal hybrid, it's a Vestaiya. Such as the cat lady in Piltover, or the bat people in the firelights. And finally Dragons. I don't really need to explain those. There are also a few sentient magic races: Yordles(technically), Voidspawn, Demon, Spirit, Celestial, Darken, and Ascended, but those are very rare, or limited to specific locations. Yordles are inherently magical beings, as they are born from concepts, for example Heimerdinger is the physical representation of the concept of 'Innovation', but since thier existence relies on the continuation of mortals, they tend to get lumped in with the mortal races. Also because there a lot of concepts, there are quite a few Yordles roaming about, though they aren't as numerous as the Vestaiya or Humans. The rest of the magical races...it's better to learn about them as needed ;)

League of legends has many skin lines that show alternate universes/timeline. So that was Odyssey Jinx. There's Western Sherif Caitlyn, Demon Vi. They are not canon to the main lore.
You may see varying versions of a lot of characters throughout the cinematics. For example, Jinx in Odyssey, Xayah and Rakan in the Star guardian cinematic, Lux in the light within cinematic. These happen because they are like alternate universes with different thematics, odyssey is like a guardians of the galaxy universe, star guardian like a sailor moon one, etc. So all these are made to sell cosmetics, but the base forms are the main canon that you see for example in Arcane.
The purple mage who's always carrying a scroll is Ryze, us gamers kind of hoped that in Arcane S1 the mage who saved Jayce would be him, so when in S2 we saw Viktor is the mage, it was a bit of a dissapointment for a lot of us, while I love how they portrayed Viktor and admit that his character is brilliant is its own right within the show - it can also be said that giving his godlike ascendence too much screentime kind of ruined the potential for a few more characters - - such as Ryze, his appearance could create a huge hype for future entries - 29:20 Blitzcrank, you can see him in the cinematic with Ekko where he grabbed some enemies, he's also from Zaun and a classic character - Orianna, although she was there, but very briefly, could've had a few more moments with Singed
Girl imma give you some advice if youre gonna explore the league of legend universe further, disregard all the world knowledge you thought you had from arcane. Most of the things in the show are canon of course, but just keep in kind that a lot of the art and media that were there before season 1 of the show was even done. Plus id say that that specific region is one of the lesser important lorewise areas in the leadue of legends universe, ever since they retconned hextech (arcane is amazing, but the brackern soul aspect really had some depth to me personally) The anamoly, Viktor and all that jazz was basically an average friday for the rest of the world. Also; Jayce, Viktor, Singed, Orianna (singed's "daughter") and a lot of other characters from arcane are barely represented in leaugue media. Just a heads up.
Jinx with orange hair is from an alternate sci-fi universe. Basically skinlines (alternate character costumes) have their own separate lore and are considered alternate universes.
My 3 favorite characters in League lore are: 1- Kindred. They (yes... "THEY") are my favorite representation of Death in fictional stories. 2- Kai'sa. She's the purple girl you've seen in the Warriors cinematic before. Not only is her design very well done, her story is one of my favorites. Out of these three I mentioned, she's definitely the one you'll like the most, for so many reasons 😂 3- Sylas. His lore talks so much about discrimination. He's was a boy that was born with magical powers (something normal in this world), but in a region that FEARS and HATES magic to a level that reaches the point of condemning people for simply using magic to make their plants grow faster (just an example). This third one was hard to pick, because Kindred and Kai'sa win top 1 and 2 very easy... but in this third one I was conflicted about so many characters 😅 So I'll just make an honorable mention to some other characters that I also wanted to put in the top 3: Ryze, Aatrox, Kayn, Lissandra, Ornn, Mordekaiser and Rell.

Little bit of info, Runeterra is not a place in particular. It's the name of the world/planet in the League of Legend universe. So Piltover and Zaun are a place in Runeterra. Ryze is the name of the blue bearded guy and he is essentially collecting the infinity stones to prevent anyone to misuse them like someone did in his flashback (which is most likely the same event Heimerdinger is also afraid of in season 1 of Arcane).
LoL (League of Legends) was/is a moba game that started with several characters. Each of them had a look, powers, skins, and story. As the game progressed more and more characters and stories were added. Later some characters were redone. You are seeing characters and stories being fleshed out and their relationships to each other being forged over years and years until we have the Vi and Caitlyn that we have today. There are more than a hundred other characters, some of which, would be VERY difficult to fit into the Arcane universe that Vi and Caitlyn currently live in. It will be interesting to see what they do.
So the raven that appeared at the end of season 2 is Beatrice, she is a raven of a champion from league called Swain. Swain is a ruler of Noxus, probably foreshadowing that second season is going to be about Noxus. Although birds from S1 were crows. Could be a symbol of death or maybe related to Fiddlesticks and fear

I am not a gamer. For me, Arcane was and is awesome because it's about great, deep characters with moving stories and evolving relationships. Everything was so interwoven and coherent. I realy fallen in love with some of the characters😅 Plus that incredible animation, wow. These gamer videos are all about combat. But I may be wrong. If the story continues with new characters, I'm really looking forward to it . ❤ I wish you a happy new year🎉
You allways mention that in Arcane most characters are human, that is because they are really smart and started with that region for a reason. Piltover and Zaun is the most "regular normal" type region with the least crazy things (exept s2 ending) That's why i think the next one is Noxus because that's the next in line in normality and magical elements :) :)
6:11 what is happening here, the Pentakill skin line, as with most of the skin lines, happen in an alternate universe/timeline outside of the main universe of league, so they just have fun with them. Here the band is terrorizing/entertaining the yordles. Some of them have much bigger worlds like the Star Guardian line, some are just one offs, and some even share universes. The Academy ones for instance might be of interest, if only because academy ekko looks a lot like the one we see in Arcane S2, and if it is, then they have already confirmed that universe. 15:00 this one is basically league Guardians of the Galaxy. Followed by the star guardian stuff, basically a Sailor Moon universe type thing.
There are also the Tales of Runeterra cinematics. Each of them features storytelling that portrays different regions and characters within League's universe. You should check them out. The art style of these cinematics is very similar to that of Arcane. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, it was Fortiche that created these cinematics, but I'm not 100% sure. Fortiche has been working with Riot Games for years, even before they started Arcane's production. Did you know that when Jinx was introduced in League of Legends, she got a music video showcasing her character called "Get Jinxed," and Fortiche was the studio that produced it *11* years ago? The music video is very cool, by the way.
So League has pretty much multiple multiple "universes" for selling skins. Like Odyssey, Star Guardian, Project and there is an Arcane skin line since Arcane came out. Some of them have a bit of lore to them. League is also heavily dabbling in music. There are multiple "virtual" bands: Pentakill (metal), True Damage (hip hop - Ekko is a member), K/DA (k-pop girlband) and Heartsteel (boyband). The champs that are involved usually have a skin for the band. There are some real high profile musicians behind some of them (especially Pentakill, idk much about the others).
I don't know if anyone else has already done this but I want to inform you, Riot Games wants people to do reactions, except for some of the worlds songs you should be able to get all videos through copyright in the whole, without cutting anything out. I'm loving your reactions, they are honest and you're not afraid of disliking something, changing your mind or being emotionally invested. It's very refreshing.

23:15 We often say it, but Arcane truly was incredible. Many of us still feel that no other show can compare to the passion, emotion, and artistry we experienced on that unforgettable journey. I genuinely believe we haven’t seen the last of our beloved characters. Many of their stories were left open to interpretation, making it possible to revisit them as long as the narrative makes sense. Even if it takes a long time, I have no doubt Riot will continue to deliver exceptional shows and stories. They’ve set the bar incredibly high, and I trust they won’t let us down.
There hasn't been confirmation of when the new animated projects will be released. We know they will involve Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia. We know at least one of the next 3 will be a movie released in theaters/cinemas, and yes, Fortiche will be the studio to do them. Fortiche has done the vast majority of these cinematics, btw. We do not know if all of them will feature the same type of animation as Arcane. It is believed that Riot might want to try its hand at live action projects as well. Riot owns like a 40% stake in Fortiche.
Jinx ans Vi's story is just a little little part of the whole league of legends lore. The universe is HUGE and the stories are amazing and really good. You even have alternative universes (like jinx guardian of the galsxy) league has material for doing series like arcane for decades.

So, first off, very cool to see new people get interested after watching arcane. But here is some hopefully useful info that might be a repeat: 1. League of Legends has a lot of characters (170+), so there are some overlapping, but also a whole lot of wild ideas 2. A lot of stuff is old or very "video-gamey" in these videos. Arcane is essentially a cleaned up, modern take on some small parts of the entire LoL world. 3. Piltover and Zaun are probably the least magic influenced (except hextech) places in Runeterra (the LoL world), so depending on what places and stories we'll be shown in the future, prepare for a lot of magical stuff.

if you enjoy reading, there’s a lot of lore online for league; stories of the different regions in the league world, and there are almost 170 characters in the game, each with their own biographies to understand who they are. definitely fun to read through everything and connect storylines and characters together
Now that I watched it all the way through, I might have to expand on my previous comment. More comments are good tor the algorithm anyway 😅 I still recommend the trio that is "Still Here | Season 2024 Cinematic", "Heavy Is The Crown - Linkin Park", "Worlds 2024 Finals Opening Ceremony" (the full one). To add to that, there is a live performance for Arcane music at the Game Awards where they play Wasteland, Remember Me and The Line. It's done very beautifully. And since you asked: my favourite Champion is Leona, i definitely played as her the most. She was in some cinematics, it's the Lady with golden armor and a big shield. Plus she is also a wlw icon 😅
I get the confusion of people when they are starting to watch League cinematics. The lore of Runeterra is vast. Characters from Arcane or even the events of show are very minor things compared to others. They are not major players lorewise. For example Ryze is a character which you may tell that he is a protagonist. His story connected to Rune Wars, a world ending event. They have demigods, literal gods, living weapons, the void etc. and things like that. Hope we will see lots of them at coming shows. It is not probable but we may hope :) I liked how you stopped and analyzed moments and characters. Hats off to you.
I feel like watching the cinematics is confusing you more than than helping sometimes, at least since nobody told you which ones are based on main lore, skin lore, or just pure gameplay
Yeah its important to note that whenever yo usee a qualifier like "Star Guardian" or "Odyssey" in front of the hcaracter its like a non-canon alternate universe themed around a different concept with alterations for the characters. Odyssey Jinx is like what if League Characters but in a Cowboy bebop/Guardians of the Galaxy style setting. Usually they inform the base character that is canon only insofar as that they take some of their defining traits and ham them up or recontextualize them in a different light.
1:26 This is guy here is sort of the main character of LoL and his story is expanded upon more in the "The Call of Power" cinematic, where we see his involvement in the rune wars (25:34) which were shortly mentioned by the Black Rose in Arcane season 2 I think. 2:32 I think these 2 went from enemies to lovers pretty quickly in the lore. 4:13 He is also in the new and amazing "Still Here" cinematic which has lots of little lore details as you can see in Necrit's lore video about it. 4:28 Annie's origin video is truly amazing with an incredible art style, highly recommend it. 11:26 It's not Mel and also part of multiple cinematics showing the so called "Ruination" event. 13:08 He made that giant tornado in the "Awaken" cinematic you watched last LoL cinematic video. 21:52 This cinematic has a short after credit scene where he shoots his X crossed bow. 26:28 I think it's a place called Bilgewater and Runterra is the world where everything takes place. 27:04 To get a closer connection to more of the unfamiliar characters and places I recommend watching Necrit's lore videos which give you more of an overlook over the world and its different places. That is a watcher for example and they are the enemies of all of Runterras people.

As mentioned on your previous video, The earlier cinematics like Twist of Fate which you reacted here - the one With the Card throwing cowboy :D and the Scarecrow as well as New Dawn, which you reacted last time, were made during the Old Lore. Where the game was part of the story, which centered around different groups of champions battling one another. This came to an end, second half of 2014, when Riot enacted a Lore reset. The characters remained, but their story, universe and relationships changed, and over time many went through reworks as well. The scarecrow Fiddlesticks is one example of this, as it was turned into a terrifying demonic manifestation a few years back There will be changes incoming from making Arcane cannon which was announced at the end of 2023... so we are still waiting how it will shake off In addition most skins for the characters are basically alternate universes, this is the case for Star Guardians - the sailor moon/magic girl looking one, Oddysey the one with Orange hair Jinx, Project. the robot looking characters So if you see a skin trailer, you are mainly dealing with that
League of Legends is a vast world with numerous characters and regions (a lot of information to process). Perhaps something you could explore in the future is the interactive map of Runeterra, where you can find more information about the geographical zones, their characteristics such as government, beliefs, and different champions that belong to each of them. By the way, you might also get confused with the cinematics because some of them were made exclusively for skin lines in 'alternate universes', as you saw with Jinx in this video, or Pentakill's second cinematic P.S.: I love your videos, thanks for your content

Fortiche announced three new series. The first one would be Noxus, which is where Mel goes, and they are mostly pure humans, as we saw in Arcane. Characters like Darius, Draven, Katarina, Leblanc, Riven, Swain and Talon, almost certainly. You've already seen many of them in the music videos. Most of the non-human beings are in IONIA, which is probably the second series.
It's more than likely that Fortiche will continue to make the show. It makes financial sense. Arcane was very expensive but most of that was due to experimentation early on. They have the formula down now so producing more would be quite cheaper since they have a base to work with. It's likely it'll take place in either Noxus or Damacia where the characters are human. Damacia is where the guy you like is. Garen from the Warriors video along with the blonde girl, Lux who is his sister. From what you've seen so far and how you've reacted, it seems like you'd like the Still Here video from 2024.
It'll help when you realise that the champions in Arcane are about a 16th of the total champions overall and the chances of them popping up alot is small. Another thing they chose the setting, backdrop & champions in Arcane for a reason and thats because they're the most relatable! The power level of champions increases as you move away from Piltover & Zaun. There are champions so powerful that on a lorewise level they would defeat all of the champions from Arcane and yes that includes Mel who hasnt been made a champion... yet not till at least March 2025 anyhows.
Runeterra is mostly populated by humans by now. That said, you know of Yordles already, Heimerdinger for exemple. Yordles are pure magic spirits, which makes them more attracted by Iona, a smaller continent to the east. It is a very spiritual land. It is where you saw Kennen, another Yordle use his electric magic in the big battle opposing Iona and Noxus. In that moment he was battling Sion, the huge one, Sion is an undead, Noxus (the Black Rose) use blood magic to keep an undead army. Bandle City, that you saw in the Mortla Reminder video is the realm of origin of Yordles, they are said to be immortals and reappear there when they seemingly get killed on Runeterra. That said, Heimer did disappear in another universe so if you want to conclude he is still alive ... maybe, but he could still be stuck there ... yes, that would make a great reason for their Powder to come visit Vi in another series someday. As old as Yordles can be, it is possible Vastayas are older or as old, they're mainly magical creatures, yet mixed with animals, includding humans. Vastaya tribes can be found all over Runeterra, you did met Lest in Arcane, Ahri the fox girl in A New Dawn is also a Vastaya. Even older you've seen Nocturne, a shadow demon, and Fiddlesticks, funnily Fiddlesticks isn't the scarecrow, it's the demon inhabiting the scarecrow. Swain, who lead the Noxian invasion of Iona (and lose his hand to Irelia, the bladedancing girl from Awaken) is linked to a demon, using crows to gather informations. We suspect some of the crows we seen in Arcane could be that of the demon, yet Swain should not have made a pact with him yet. The purple guy being purchased by Nocturne is busy running around Runeterra trying to gather the Runic Stones and keep them hidden from humanity, those stones were originally used to mold the planet and bring life to it, they were lost by the celestials beings using them and leaked magic on many places, apparently birthing the first Vastayas. He's Ryze. The red hair with daggers is Katarina, fighting Garen, Garen is Lux's brother, the blond girl from awaken, they're part of the crownguard family. The little girl throwing fireballs and invoking the giant teddy bear is Annie, she has an origin story video. On a personal note, Annie's video's artstyle is breathtaking. The big snakish looking hydra thing is Baron Nashor, he's a monster we can kill in game to get a big buff. In this video we also see Tryndamere, the other big guy with the big blade, he's named after Mark Merrill (one of Riot's founders) and he's married to Ashe, for political reasons yet love did come in over time. The pentakill virtual band is composed of Yorick (basse), Mordekaiser (guitar), Olaf (percussions), Khartus (singer), Sona (piano - she is mute) and is a reveal for Kayle's pentakill skin, she is the Angel flying over the whole time, we see ehr shadow and landing in the very end. She does look like an angel, as her twin sister Morgana, yet they're a special case, being the children of the former aspect of justice. They inherited their mother powers as she split her blade in two to give half to each. Xayah and Rakan, the birdy vastayas are lovers. They're raiding the shadow order, their enemy is Zed. Note that Zed controls shadows, Nocturne IS shadows ... I am not certain, but there is probably a link there. The insanely cute girl is not Mel, she is Senna, she was a prisoner of Tresh's lantern, and got liberated by her lover, Lucian. While she was prisoner she formed a bond with Viego's wife, which may be useful to know for the Sentinel stories, and the whole Ruination event. Odyssey, Star Guardians, Pentakill ... many different universes and stories, usually the point is to sell skins, but they do have amazing stories and arts. In the Star Guardian video featuring Xayah and Rakan you also see the shapeshifter Neeko, and the little portaling one is Zoe. Zoe looks like a child because she was choosen at a young by the celestial to become the aspect of the Twilight, but she is real old by now. She is the one who helped humanity seal most of the darkins. Darkins are ascended god-warriors of ancient Shurima who got corrupted. They are banished in their weapons, yet can corrupt and control their hosts. In the As We Fall video you see two brother's fall into becoming an host for the darkin Varus. The light within is a promotional video for Lux's elementary skin, during the game she can evolve her look and her abilitie's looks depending on elements she chooses, the video simply displays this ;) The curse of the sad mummy is voiced by none other than Christian Linke. Yes, in the Ryze video you see part of his journey collecting the stones I mentioned earlier. In order he's ona pirate ship alongside Sarah Fortune, AKA Miss Fortune. It looks like they're right next to Bilgewater, the Pirate's heaven. He's then helped again by Sona, the mute muse. He encounters Trundle, the self-proclaimed Troll King, Trundle is an iceborn, like Ashe, meaning he can wield True Ice weapons. He fights what seem to be Vel'Koz, a voidling. Note : Bard, one of the celestials, often comes down to Runeterra to take objects away from mortals that would be too dangerous and powerful, it is a mystery to me they not only lost the Runic Stones but also that Bard does not come to gather them and take them away. ... sorry for writing that much, I swear I kept everything as short as possible xD PS : My favorite character is Morgana. I also think you should watch, in reaction or your own free time some of Necrit's videos, can make a list if needed, for context. Plus, there's an IGN video about K/DA that in my opinion is a must watch, it's starting to be old but is still very relevant to get Riot's mindset about music.
You should definitely check out Necrit's recent video explaining the world of League to Arcane fans. As for favourite character, Aurelion Sol. Cool dragon, youll see him being mentioned at some point so I wont spoil.
In the series itself, they already introduced that concept to you. That Jinx along with the rest is from another timeline, that's why you see such discordant concepts with each other. In the game, they introduce these skins and create a lore for them as well. All the characters have alternative versions in the game with their respective parallel worlds. There's no need to get too wrapped up in that, there are the main skins of the game and Fortiche is making visual reboots little by little, like they did with EKko or Viktor himself.
The Sad Mummy video you skipped was sung by Christian Linke the showrunner for Arcane. Some videos from Riot/LoL are introduction vids that explain the background of characters you haven't met yet. Please watch Necrit's LoL Vids he explains much of the lore. There are 169 Champions and COUNTLESS side-characters. In the Cyberpunk era vids you skipped, Vi was there. So were Jinx and Caitlyn. Yasuo is a very popular character he was in those Cyberpunk vids too. Some vids show us Side-characters that are only there during the vid(they usually don't survive). The areas you've seen that look like Piltover are Bilgewater. Miss Fortune(the Pirate Captain[And Katarina's Sister]), Graves and Twisted Fate, multitudes of extraordinary Yordles, and some seriously serious champions are from Bilgewater. Nautilus(the giant robot/golem from A New Dawn video) is based-ish in Bilgewater. Ahri and Yasuo travel by ship together to Bilgewater. Just about everyone passes through Bilgewater on their way to other locations in Runeterra. That will include Mel and Jinx without a doubt.
There are many universes in League of Legends, most of them are skinlines, the few others are canon in the main universe so it can be a tad bit confusing. There's a universe where Jinx is part of the Guardians of the Galaxy (the Odyssey skinline) while in another one, she is a high-school magical girl that fights monsters (the Star-guardian skinline) and there's a universe where she's a catgirl that also fights monsters.
i recommend the "legend of runtera" series... those are shortstorys of the diffrent regions. i also recommend heavily "Thresh Unbound: A Night at the Inn". Storydriven cinematics are also "The Path, An Ionian Myth " and "Kin of the Stained Blade" ...both tell the story of yasou and yone. For music driven cinematics watch "the call" and "still here" ...those are high quality There is alot more but some stuff is just promo for skins with known characters in new settings/outfits.
The reason you see so much magic in these other videos, and in these other regions, is 'Arcane' takes place in Piltover, which is a city/region that was founded to be very "Anti-Magic" and to be safe from the "dangers of Magic" so you won't really find many examples and uses of magic in the show.

23:47 His name is Ryze. And he is basically the main character of League of Legends. He travels the world and collects World Runes - incredibly powerful magical artifacts. In the past they fell into the wrong hands and it caused Rune Wars - a devastating conflict, that almost destroyed the entire world (the leader of the Black Rose mentioned Rune Wars to Mel in episode 8 of season 2). Ryze collects these World Runes and stores them away, so other people wouldn't use them again. He is an incredibly powerful mage, one of the strongest characters in this Universe.
And Heimerdinger mentioned the war in the first Season as a warning to Jayce and Viktor

Arcane S2E7, Ekko wakes up in another reality. We know that different versions of character exists in other realities. These skin lines are basically like that, where you see different versions of Jinx are her in other realities.
Not really, ekko wakes up in a different TIMELINE, not in a different reality. Skinlines are kinda like parallel universes, but they aren't canon to the main league lore, the characters can't ever enter these, bcs they're entirely separate and only exist to sell in game cosmetics
Ionia we saw very little of in Arcane, but there is a portrait of it in Cait's office, because that is where the Kirammans came to Piltover from a few generations back

1:00 - I'm not sure if you read my comments on 2x9. While crows are often seen as an ill omen and linked to death, the six eyed raven introduced at the end of Arcane S2 is a setup for Noxus’s Swain. Swain uses ravens as spies, which come from a demon of secrets named "Raum" who serves him. Ravens and crows are a recurring motif throughout League, as seen in this video because of Swain. They help Swain see visions, gather secrets, and broker deals on his behalf. Those birds are the physical manifestation of Raum's presence, essentially serving as his "eyes".

Also champs for you are, Leona (you saw her, brown hair heavy golden armor) and her counterpart and lover and enemy Diana, they are technincly demigods called "Aspects", representing the sun and the moon.
(And they are in many cinematics)
17:45 Yes, it's the blonde girl from the Warriors, her name is Luxanna Crownguard (or Lux for short). She is one of the most popular characters in the game alongside Jinx and Yasuo. Fun fact: aside from Ekko/Jinx, the most popular ship with Jinx is Jinx/Lux, mainly because of the Starguardian Universe, where both of them have skins (Starguardian Universe is the one where characters look like Sailor Moon 😅, you watched a few cinematics of it in this video).
P.S. You should ABSOLUTELY watch "You really got me" cinematic, it has Jinx, Lux, and Yasuo in it. You gonna love it 😊

Keep in mind, As stated in Jayces Trail in season one episode 2 'Piltover was founded as a haven from the warring of mages'. So there's not a lot of magic in Piltover, but the world of Runeterra has a ton of magic in it.
Also, there are only a few sentient mortal races in Runeterra: Human, Vestaiya, and Dragon.
Humans are self explainitory.
Vestaiya come in many breeds, but any time you see a humanoid animal hybrid, it's a Vestaiya. Such as the cat lady in Piltover, or the bat people in the firelights.
And finally Dragons. I don't really need to explain those.
There are also a few sentient magic races: Yordles(technically), Voidspawn, Demon, Spirit, Celestial, Darken, and Ascended, but those are very rare, or limited to specific locations.
Yordles are inherently magical beings, as they are born from concepts, for example Heimerdinger is the physical representation of the concept of 'Innovation', but since thier existence relies on the continuation of mortals, they tend to get lumped in with the mortal races. Also because there a lot of concepts, there are quite a few Yordles roaming about, though they aren't as numerous as the Vestaiya or Humans.
The rest of the magical races...it's better to learn about them as needed ;)

League of legends has many skin lines that show alternate universes/timeline. So that was Odyssey Jinx. There's Western Sherif Caitlyn, Demon Vi. They are not canon to the main lore.

You may see varying versions of a lot of characters throughout the cinematics. For example, Jinx in Odyssey, Xayah and Rakan in the Star guardian cinematic, Lux in the light within cinematic. These happen because they are like alternate universes with different thematics, odyssey is like a guardians of the galaxy universe, star guardian like a sailor moon one, etc. So all these are made to sell cosmetics, but the base forms are the main canon that you see for example in Arcane.

Most league of legends players thought the person who saved Jayce and his mom was the blue dude with a scroll on his back (Ryze)
The purple mage who's always carrying a scroll is Ryze, us gamers kind of hoped that in Arcane S1 the mage who saved Jayce would be him, so when in S2 we saw Viktor is the mage, it was a bit of a dissapointment for a lot of us,
while I love how they portrayed Viktor and admit that his character is brilliant is its own right within the show - it can also be said that giving his godlike ascendence too much screentime kind of ruined the potential for a few more characters -
- such as Ryze, his appearance could create a huge hype for future entries
- 29:20 Blitzcrank, you can see him in the cinematic with Ekko where he grabbed some enemies, he's also from Zaun and a classic character
- Orianna, although she was there, but very briefly, could've had a few more moments with Singed
Girl imma give you some advice if youre gonna explore the league of legend universe further, disregard all the world knowledge you thought you had from arcane. Most of the things in the show are canon of course, but just keep in kind that a lot of the art and media that were there before season 1 of the show was even done. Plus id say that that specific region is one of the lesser important lorewise areas in the leadue of legends universe, ever since they retconned hextech (arcane is amazing, but the brackern soul aspect really had some depth to me personally)
The anamoly, Viktor and all that jazz was basically an average friday for the rest of the world.
Also; Jayce, Viktor, Singed, Orianna (singed's "daughter") and a lot of other characters from arcane are barely represented in leaugue media. Just a heads up.
Jinx with orange hair is from an alternate sci-fi universe. Basically skinlines (alternate character costumes) have their own separate lore and are considered alternate universes.

My 3 favorite characters in League lore are:
1- Kindred. They (yes... "THEY") are my favorite representation of Death in fictional stories.
2- Kai'sa. She's the purple girl you've seen in the Warriors cinematic before. Not only is her design very well done, her story is one of my favorites. Out of these three I mentioned, she's definitely the one you'll like the most, for so many reasons 😂
3- Sylas. His lore talks so much about discrimination. He's was a boy that was born with magical powers (something normal in this world), but in a region that FEARS and HATES magic to a level that reaches the point of condemning people for simply using magic to make their plants grow faster (just an example).
This third one was hard to pick, because Kindred and Kai'sa win top 1 and 2 very easy... but in this third one I was conflicted about so many characters 😅
So I'll just make an honorable mention to some other characters that I also wanted to put in the top 3: Ryze, Aatrox, Kayn, Lissandra, Ornn, Mordekaiser and Rell.

Little bit of info, Runeterra is not a place in particular. It's the name of the world/planet in the League of Legend universe. So Piltover and Zaun are a place in Runeterra. Ryze is the name of the blue bearded guy and he is essentially collecting the infinity stones to prevent anyone to misuse them like someone did in his flashback (which is most likely the same event Heimerdinger is also afraid of in season 1 of Arcane).
LoL (League of Legends) was/is a moba game that started with several characters. Each of them had a look, powers, skins, and story. As the game progressed more and more characters and stories were added. Later some characters were redone. You are seeing characters and stories being fleshed out and their relationships to each other being forged over years and years until we have the Vi and Caitlyn that we have today. There are more than a hundred other characters, some of which, would be VERY difficult to fit into the Arcane universe that Vi and Caitlyn currently live in. It will be interesting to see what they do.
So the raven that appeared at the end of season 2 is Beatrice, she is a raven of a champion from league called Swain. Swain is a ruler of Noxus, probably foreshadowing that second season is going to be about Noxus. Although birds from S1 were crows. Could be a symbol of death or maybe related to Fiddlesticks and fear

I am not a gamer. For me, Arcane was and is awesome because it's about great, deep characters with moving stories and evolving relationships. Everything was so interwoven and coherent. I realy fallen in love with some of the characters😅 Plus that incredible animation, wow. These gamer videos are all about combat. But I may be wrong. If the story continues with new characters, I'm really looking forward to it . ❤

You allways mention that in Arcane most characters are human, that is because they are really smart and started with that region for a reason.
Piltover and Zaun is the most "regular normal" type region with the least crazy things (exept s2 ending)
That's why i think the next one is Noxus because that's the next in line in normality and magical elements :) :)
6:11 what is happening here, the Pentakill skin line, as with most of the skin lines, happen in an alternate universe/timeline outside of the main universe of league, so they just have fun with them. Here the band is terrorizing/entertaining the yordles. Some of them have much bigger worlds like the Star Guardian line, some are just one offs, and some even share universes.
The Academy ones for instance might be of interest, if only because academy ekko looks a lot like the one we see in Arcane S2, and if it is, then they have already confirmed that universe.
15:00 this one is basically league Guardians of the Galaxy. Followed by the star guardian stuff, basically a Sailor Moon universe type thing.
There are also the Tales of Runeterra cinematics. Each of them features storytelling that portrays different regions and characters within League's universe. You should check them out. The art style of these cinematics is very similar to that of Arcane. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, it was Fortiche that created these cinematics, but I'm not 100% sure. Fortiche has been working with Riot Games for years, even before they started Arcane's production. Did you know that when Jinx was introduced in League of Legends, she got a music video showcasing her character called "Get Jinxed," and Fortiche was the studio that produced it *11* years ago? The music video is very cool, by the way.
The Annie: Origins cinematic is a good one for Arcane stans since it very much is an Arcane prototype both in art style and story.
So League has pretty much multiple multiple "universes" for selling skins. Like Odyssey, Star Guardian, Project and there is an Arcane skin line since Arcane came out. Some of them have a bit of lore to them. League is also heavily dabbling in music. There are multiple "virtual" bands: Pentakill (metal), True Damage (hip hop - Ekko is a member), K/DA (k-pop girlband) and Heartsteel (boyband). The champs that are involved usually have a skin for the band. There are some real high profile musicians behind some of them (especially Pentakill, idk much about the others).
I don't know if anyone else has already done this but I want to inform you, Riot Games wants people to do reactions, except for some of the worlds songs you should be able to get all videos through copyright in the whole, without cutting anything out.

We often say it, but Arcane truly was incredible. Many of us still feel that no other show can compare to the passion, emotion, and artistry we experienced on that unforgettable journey. I genuinely believe we haven’t seen the last of our beloved characters. Many of their stories were left open to interpretation, making it possible to revisit them as long as the narrative makes sense.
Even if it takes a long time, I have no doubt Riot will continue to deliver exceptional shows and stories. They’ve set the bar incredibly high, and I trust they won’t let us down.
There hasn't been confirmation of when the new animated projects will be released. We know they will involve Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia. We know at least one of the next 3 will be a movie released in theaters/cinemas, and yes, Fortiche will be the studio to do them. Fortiche has done the vast majority of these cinematics, btw. We do not know if all of them will feature the same type of animation as Arcane. It is believed that Riot might want to try its hand at live action projects as well.
Riot owns like a 40% stake in Fortiche.
Mel was originally created for Arcane, I heard she will be introduced as a hero in League of Legends in 2025.

Actually due to the number of characters I understand that it is very chaotic, but there are many videos that quickly introduce you to the character, like Ryze the wizard so i hope you like to keep going watch these videos.
So, first off, very cool to see new people get interested after watching arcane. But here is some hopefully useful info that might be a repeat:
1. League of Legends has a lot of characters (170+), so there are some overlapping, but also a whole lot of wild ideas
2. A lot of stuff is old or very "video-gamey" in these videos. Arcane is essentially a cleaned up, modern take on some small parts of the entire LoL world.
3. Piltover and Zaun are probably the least magic influenced (except hextech) places in Runeterra (the LoL world), so depending on what places and stories we'll be shown in the future, prepare for a lot of magical stuff.

Now that I watched it all the way through, I might have to expand on my previous comment. More comments are good tor the algorithm anyway 😅 I still recommend the trio that is "Still Here | Season 2024 Cinematic", "Heavy Is The Crown - Linkin Park", "Worlds 2024 Finals Opening Ceremony" (the full one). To add to that, there is a live performance for Arcane music at the Game Awards where they play Wasteland, Remember Me and The Line. It's done very beautifully. And since you asked: my favourite Champion is Leona, i definitely played as her the most. She was in some cinematics, it's the Lady with golden armor and a big shield. Plus she is also a wlw icon 😅
I get the confusion of people when they are starting to watch League cinematics. The lore of Runeterra is vast. Characters from Arcane or even the events of show are very minor things compared to others. They are not major players lorewise.
For example Ryze is a character which you may tell that he is a protagonist. His story connected to Rune Wars, a world ending event.
They have demigods, literal gods, living weapons, the void etc. and things like that.
Hope we will see lots of them at coming shows. It is not probable but we may hope :)

I feel like watching the cinematics is confusing you more than than helping sometimes, at least since nobody told you which ones are based on main lore, skin lore, or just pure gameplay
Yeah its important to note that whenever yo usee a qualifier like "Star Guardian" or "Odyssey" in front of the hcaracter its like a non-canon alternate universe themed around a different concept with alterations for the characters. Odyssey Jinx is like what if League Characters but in a Cowboy bebop/Guardians of the Galaxy style setting. Usually they inform the base character that is canon only insofar as that they take some of their defining traits and ham them up or recontextualize them in a different light.
There are some Legends of runeterra cinematics that show you more characters, and more cinematics like "the call" or "ruination"

1:26 This is guy here is sort of the main character of LoL and his story is expanded upon more in the "The Call of Power" cinematic, where we see his involvement in the rune wars (25:34) which were shortly mentioned by the Black Rose in Arcane season 2 I think.

The earlier cinematics like Twist of Fate which you reacted here - the one With the Card throwing cowboy :D and the Scarecrow as well as New Dawn, which you reacted last time, were made during the Old Lore. Where the game was part of the story, which centered around different groups of champions battling one another. This came to an end, second half of 2014, when Riot enacted a Lore reset.
The characters remained, but their story, universe and relationships changed, and over time many went through reworks as well. The scarecrow Fiddlesticks is one example of this, as it was turned into a terrifying demonic manifestation a few years back
There will be changes incoming from making Arcane cannon which was announced at the end of 2023... so we are still waiting how it will shake off
In addition most skins for the characters are basically alternate universes, this is the case for Star Guardians - the sailor moon/magic girl looking one, Oddysey the one with Orange hair Jinx, Project. the robot looking characters
So if you see a skin trailer, you are mainly dealing with that
League of Legends is a vast world with numerous characters and regions (a lot of information to process). Perhaps something you could explore in the future is the interactive map of Runeterra, where you can find more information about the geographical zones, their characteristics such as government, beliefs, and different champions that belong to each of them. By the way, you might also get confused with the cinematics because some of them were made exclusively for skin lines in 'alternate universes', as you saw with Jinx in this video, or Pentakill's second cinematic

Fortiche announced three new series. The first one would be Noxus, which is where Mel goes, and they are mostly pure humans, as we saw in Arcane. Characters like Darius, Draven, Katarina, Leblanc, Riven, Swain and Talon, almost certainly. You've already seen many of them in the music videos. Most of the non-human beings are in IONIA, which is probably the second series.
It's more than likely that Fortiche will continue to make the show. It makes financial sense. Arcane was very expensive but most of that was due to experimentation early on. They have the formula down now so producing more would be quite cheaper since they have a base to work with. It's likely it'll take place in either Noxus or Damacia where the characters are human. Damacia is where the guy you like is. Garen from the Warriors video along with the blonde girl, Lux who is his sister. From what you've seen so far and how you've reacted, it seems like you'd like the Still Here video from 2024.
It'll help when you realise that the champions in Arcane are about a 16th of the total champions overall and the chances of them popping up alot is small.
Another thing they chose the setting, backdrop & champions in Arcane for a reason and thats because they're the most relatable! The power level of champions increases as you move away from Piltover & Zaun. There are champions so powerful that on a lorewise level they would defeat all of the champions from Arcane and yes that includes Mel who hasnt been made a champion... yet not till at least March 2025 anyhows.
Runeterra is mostly populated by humans by now.
That said, you know of Yordles already, Heimerdinger for exemple. Yordles are pure magic spirits, which makes them more attracted by Iona, a smaller continent to the east. It is a very spiritual land. It is where you saw Kennen, another Yordle use his electric magic in the big battle opposing Iona and Noxus.
In that moment he was battling Sion, the huge one, Sion is an undead, Noxus (the Black Rose) use blood magic to keep an undead army.
Bandle City, that you saw in the Mortla Reminder video is the realm of origin of Yordles, they are said to be immortals and reappear there when they seemingly get killed on Runeterra. That said, Heimer did disappear in another universe so if you want to conclude he is still alive ... maybe, but he could still be stuck there ... yes, that would make a great reason for their Powder to come visit Vi in another series someday.
As old as Yordles can be, it is possible Vastayas are older or as old, they're mainly magical creatures, yet mixed with animals, includding humans. Vastaya tribes can be found all over Runeterra, you did met Lest in Arcane, Ahri the fox girl in A New Dawn is also a Vastaya.
Even older you've seen Nocturne, a shadow demon, and Fiddlesticks, funnily Fiddlesticks isn't the scarecrow, it's the demon inhabiting the scarecrow.
Swain, who lead the Noxian invasion of Iona (and lose his hand to Irelia, the bladedancing girl from Awaken) is linked to a demon, using crows to gather informations. We suspect some of the crows we seen in Arcane could be that of the demon, yet Swain should not have made a pact with him yet.
The purple guy being purchased by Nocturne is busy running around Runeterra trying to gather the Runic Stones and keep them hidden from humanity, those stones were originally used to mold the planet and bring life to it, they were lost by the celestials beings using them and leaked magic on many places, apparently birthing the first Vastayas. He's Ryze.
The red hair with daggers is Katarina, fighting Garen, Garen is Lux's brother, the blond girl from awaken, they're part of the crownguard family.
The little girl throwing fireballs and invoking the giant teddy bear is Annie, she has an origin story video. On a personal note, Annie's video's artstyle is breathtaking.
The big snakish looking hydra thing is Baron Nashor, he's a monster we can kill in game to get a big buff.
In this video we also see Tryndamere, the other big guy with the big blade, he's named after Mark Merrill (one of Riot's founders) and he's married to Ashe, for political reasons yet love did come in over time.
The pentakill virtual band is composed of Yorick (basse), Mordekaiser (guitar), Olaf (percussions), Khartus (singer), Sona (piano - she is mute) and is a reveal for Kayle's pentakill skin, she is the Angel flying over the whole time, we see ehr shadow and landing in the very end.
She does look like an angel, as her twin sister Morgana, yet they're a special case, being the children of the former aspect of justice. They inherited their mother powers as she split her blade in two to give half to each.
Xayah and Rakan, the birdy vastayas are lovers. They're raiding the shadow order, their enemy is Zed. Note that Zed controls shadows, Nocturne IS shadows ... I am not certain, but there is probably a link there.
The insanely cute girl is not Mel, she is Senna, she was a prisoner of Tresh's lantern, and got liberated by her lover, Lucian. While she was prisoner she formed a bond with Viego's wife, which may be useful to know for the Sentinel stories, and the whole Ruination event.
Odyssey, Star Guardians, Pentakill ... many different universes and stories, usually the point is to sell skins, but they do have amazing stories and arts.
In the Star Guardian video featuring Xayah and Rakan you also see the shapeshifter Neeko, and the little portaling one is Zoe. Zoe looks like a child because she was choosen at a young by the celestial to become the aspect of the Twilight, but she is real old by now. She is the one who helped humanity seal most of the darkins.
Darkins are ascended god-warriors of ancient Shurima who got corrupted. They are banished in their weapons, yet can corrupt and control their hosts.
In the As We Fall video you see two brother's fall into becoming an host for the darkin Varus.
The light within is a promotional video for Lux's elementary skin, during the game she can evolve her look and her abilitie's looks depending on elements she chooses, the video simply displays this ;)

Yes, in the Ryze video you see part of his journey collecting the stones I mentioned earlier. In order he's ona pirate ship alongside Sarah Fortune, AKA Miss Fortune. It looks like they're right next to Bilgewater, the Pirate's heaven.
He's then helped again by Sona, the mute muse. He encounters Trundle, the self-proclaimed Troll King, Trundle is an iceborn, like Ashe, meaning he can wield True Ice weapons.
He fights what seem to be Vel'Koz, a voidling.
Note : Bard, one of the celestials, often comes down to Runeterra to take objects away from mortals that would be too dangerous and powerful, it is a mystery to me they not only lost the Runic Stones but also that Bard does not come to gather them and take them away.

PS : My favorite character is Morgana. I also think you should watch, in reaction or your own free time some of Necrit's videos, can make a list if needed, for context. Plus, there's an IGN video about K/DA that in my opinion is a must watch, it's starting to be old but is still very relevant to get Riot's mindset about music.

In the series itself, they already introduced that concept to you. That Jinx along with the rest is from another timeline, that's why you see such discordant concepts with each other. In the game, they introduce these skins and create a lore for them as well. All the characters have alternative versions in the game with their respective parallel worlds. There's no need to get too wrapped up in that, there are the main skins of the game and Fortiche is making visual reboots little by little, like they did with EKko or Viktor himself.
The Sad Mummy video you skipped was sung by Christian Linke the showrunner for Arcane. Some videos from Riot/LoL are introduction vids that explain the background of characters you haven't met yet. Please watch Necrit's LoL Vids he explains much of the lore. There are 169 Champions and COUNTLESS side-characters.
In the Cyberpunk era vids you skipped, Vi was there. So were Jinx and Caitlyn. Yasuo is a very popular character he was in those Cyberpunk vids too. Some vids show us Side-characters that are only there during the vid(they usually don't survive).
The areas you've seen that look like Piltover are Bilgewater. Miss Fortune(the Pirate Captain[And Katarina's Sister]), Graves and Twisted Fate, multitudes of extraordinary Yordles, and some seriously serious champions are from Bilgewater. Nautilus(the giant robot/golem from A New Dawn video) is based-ish in Bilgewater. Ahri and Yasuo travel by ship together to Bilgewater. Just about everyone passes through Bilgewater on their way to other locations in Runeterra. That will include Mel and Jinx without a doubt.
There are many universes in League of Legends, most of them are skinlines, the few others are canon in the main universe so it can be a tad bit confusing. There's a universe where Jinx is part of the Guardians of the Galaxy (the Odyssey skinline) while in another one, she is a high-school magical girl that fights monsters (the Star-guardian skinline) and there's a universe where she's a catgirl that also fights monsters.
i recommend the "legend of runtera" series... those are shortstorys of the diffrent regions. i also recommend heavily "Thresh Unbound: A Night at the Inn".
Storydriven cinematics are also "The Path, An Ionian Myth " and "Kin of the Stained Blade" ...both tell the story of yasou and yone.
For music driven cinematics watch "the call" and "still here" ...those are high quality
There is alot more but some stuff is just promo for skins with known characters in new settings/outfits.
The reason you see so much magic in these other videos, and in these other regions, is 'Arcane' takes place in Piltover, which is a city/region that was founded to be very "Anti-Magic" and to be safe from the "dangers of Magic" so you won't really find many examples and uses of magic in the show.
