Can you go to store without going to the palace ?
Yes, there are several stores which can be accessed without needing a palace tour ticket. The one in this video is The Queen's Gallery shop, but there is also another store just down the road (on the other side of the street) along with a third shop which forms part of the Royal Mews. If you look up Buckingham Gate on google maps, the stores should be marked on it.
