Love that editing section Jeven, my trouble is I use clips that are too long and therefor most likely boring for others to watch, you're a master at editing and make it look easy and I suppose that comes from repetition, I use Filmora X editing software so I don't think it has all the functionality of what you're using but it works for me, I also use Epidemic Sound's and I also need to start cutting to the beat, I think I'll get a lot of value from your editing course on Skillshare, thanks for this and have a happy holidays.

Can I set up to save photos to SD card and ProRez video to internal HD? 2. I would like to customize many of the buttons and dials on the remove, but only find a few options in the FLY App. Can I customize all or most of the physical buttons/dials on the Pro Remote? I started on a mini 2 se. I love that drone death. Learned everything with that drone. I did some wild stuff.. that drone was never meant to do. Waypoints, to name one.. and it doesn’t have obstacle avoidance anything. I can’t believe it actually pulled it off .. with out running into any trees.. thanks to litch app.

Depends on the features you need. The Mini 2 is the perfect starter drone but it doesn't have active track. If you need tracking then the Air2 or Air2S are perfect. The only downside is those drones dont have vision sensors on the side so you could run into something when tracking. I have videos on all these drones so make sure you check them out :). If you need full omnidirectional obstacle avoidance then the Mavic 3 is the one to go for.
I wouldn’t suggest getting this for your children. This is the pro version, so many of its features are only needed for advanced users and filmmakers. And it’s also expensive so if crashed it’s a hefty price to pay. I would personally go with the air2 or air2s. They are more affordable, still have a lot of sensors and the resolution and features are more then enough!

Thanks for this nicely made video. It is useful for those of us accustomed to Go4 moving to DJI Fly. I also appreciated your work flow for cutting the B roll to the music track. I wish there were an easier way for me to color grade in Resolve being severely color deficient. Finally PS has made such things possible with AI tools that enable color matching for composites. Too bad there isn’t an equivalent AI tool for color grading video. Keep up the great work!
37:05 do you not need to calibrate the drone for its X/Y/Z axis before your first flight? as part of my flight tutorial for tertiary qualification, this was a must-do on the Phantom 4 that I used. by calibrate, I mean turn it (manually walk it around on the spot) 360° while flat, and then again on its side.

Bought the Mini 3 pro around april last year but until just recently wasnt able to fly since rules and stuff in Japan are pretty complex and I live in Tokyo so it demotivated me quite a bit. Now I managed to fly in Miyakojima and hopefully this weekend as well since I got approval from local authorities and understand how stuff works here better so I have to feeling I can finally get into it more. Now I'm thinking if I should buy a new bigger one around christmas. Great Video but I'm still not sure. Air3 sounds great with the price tag but the Mavic 3 Pro seems so cool. Maybe I wait for the official Mavic 4 announcement and release and hopefully get the 3 pro for less.

But if I could ask you a quick question question my older mavic mini I still use but I upgraded my I phone 15 max has a different plug and the rc cable doesn’t work from my previous I phone 10 max. Do you know where I can get a cable. Or will new controller work with the mini. It’s the newer controller with the screen built in. Many thanks
I’m on a crusade so you may see this post elsewhere as well. 😊 I think it would be a great feature for the RC Pro and other “Smart” remotes to have a low power “Data” mode that would allow the user to save more battery life to perform tasks such as editing images or checking social networks, tasks that don’t need the high powered antennas and other battery draining parts of the device typically needed during flight. At the same time a similar low power “Data” mode for drones could be very useful. If the antennas, flight lights, GPS and other parts used only for flight could be turned of while transferring video and photos, updating firmware or doing other things while not in flight this would save battery and give the pilot more time to get things done. Who else thinks that a new low power “Data” mode would be useful? 🤷♂️
Quick question. I just picked up the Mavic 3 but it's missing a couple of menu options. Like camera charging. Are those available after the firmware update? I haven't had a chance to run that yet.
Hallo Jeven, On my Smart Controller screen there is a shortcut "WayPonts" which is located on the left side of the screen above the RTH button. Can that button be removed or changed and how do I do that. I have a DJI Mavic 3 Classic.

anyone elses M3 rear arm rub the gimbal when arms are closed?!?! My M3 showed up with the gimbal unlocked and now im thinking its from the arm hitting rubbing/pushing the gimbal, anyone else have this issue? flip the M3 upside down when off and locked with arms closed and tilt right and left and see if your gimbal and arm are touching
Jeven Dovey, at around 13:54 ish you finish up saying the drone will go straight up, fly straight back, and fly straight down on Return to Home. Doesn't the Mavic 3 have the smart RTH where on the way back it comes in at an angle? Rather than straight down? or did they change that? I have a mavic 3 myself, and i haven't done my first flight yet. Been busy getting it all registered and getting the required aircraft numbers on it up here in Canada. haha.
I have u purchased this as my first drone, the 3, for the purpose of recording us going on the trails mountain biking. I believe my upgrade to "active track" is there but it keeps telling me that the function doesnt work in a mode like "explore mode". It only flashes for 1 second and I have no idea how to switch modes? Can you help me?
In the active track POI mode, does it have obstacle avoidance active? I have both the Mini 3 Pro and the Mavic 3, Love your video's the are extremely helpful!

After the first use calibration and first fly, when I turned the drone off the gimbal stayed locked... I am wondering if that its a malfunction of my gimble... I've seen your gimble it moves freely when you change the front lens. There is any setting that I gone wrong? Thank you !

Hi Jeven. Thank you for your effort to share with us all these features of Mavic 3. Amazing Video . Just got my Mavic 3 Right out of the box the gimbal used to move freely.. After the first use calibration and first fly, when I turned the drone off the gimbal stayed locked... I am wondering if that its a malfunction of my gimble... I've seen your gimble it moves freely when you change the front lens. There is any setting that I gone wrong? Thank you !

If you get youtube premium then you can download videos to view offline
