I have pro tools on a brand spanking new M1 Mac mini. 8gb ram. For whatever reason when I convert mp3 files they have popping and clicking noises as if my buffer rate and sample rate need be adjusted. I adjust them but still popping and clicking! Can anybody give me pointers on what to do and how to fix it. I’m losing my mind!!! I know my hardware is powerful enough

Am running PT Studio, up-to-date (2022.5), on a brandnew macbook pro 16" 32go m1pro on monterey (again, fully up-to-date), and have been running into very frequent problems of PT freezing, completely at random, It could just be as simple as muting a track in the mix window, tweaking a dial in a plugin, clicking on a clip in the edit window, or selecting an option from the main menu - PT will just randomly freeze. If a track is playing, the audio will keep playing, however PT will just lock up & completely freeze, & then 'Not Respond', leaving me with no other choice but to force close the entire program 🤬 Can’t record Can’t mix 🤯 Just wondered if anyone else has been experiencing this recently??

this as a beginner tells me nothing on if its a lesson its has to more to the point i have focusrite interface that comes with pro tools how do i set it up and download the software that comes with it i will just find some one to help me because these videos are not getting it done the ideal of teaching is to help the student to get what are being taught showing all these screens is not helping

I have 2 older Protools 003 interface units (1 - 8 channel rack and 1- 8 channel mixing-style interfaces). Does anyone out there know if the interfaces will work with the new Apple M1 processor? I am not sure what the end-point PT version these older interfaces will work? I believe the latest version of PT I used was PT 9? If the interfaces will work I will definitely upgrade PT, but don't want to upgrade if interfaces are too far antiquated? Hopefully this question isn't too confusing? Thanks!
I myself recently got a new MacBook Pro with the M1 pro chip as well and have yet been able to pair my mbox pro interface with PT/my computer… It’s driving me nuts! I tried installing the latest driver from the AVID site but it told me it was incompatible with my Monterey version as well… Feels like a major road block.. I thought I’d be stepping things up, but have only encountered setbacks since I’ve purchased this new apple computer.. I also purchased an additional interface hoping my computer would detect but nothing still… ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Ayo great videos, I was wondering, since it seems that Pro Tools is your favorite daw, is pro tools 12 HD still good? A friend gifted me the program and licences. The thing is that I was boutta learn how to use Reaper just before he gave me pro Tools. TBH pro tools just looks a lil more professional and my old sound engineer used to use pro tools, so even though I ain't really used it, I feel like I know the basics to navigate the program. Should I better start learning protools 12 HD or reaper???? I guess I can do both but tryna finish an old session and I have to prioritize one DAW. Thanks in advance, hope u can help
