Cool list, the discard outs are a great addition. I built in a Shaddoll Beast and Shaddoll Winda into my build, so if I don’t need to dump a Necroworld Banshee with Branded Fusion, I can dump Shaddoll beast. That lets me chain block lubellion’s effect, draw a card, get to pitch one from hand, and end on Winda which is an auto win in some games. At the very least it’s another floodgate that puts a lot of pressure on the opponent.
This is a really cool list. I’ve been looking for a deck to try in this new Branded centric format and this might be it. I’ll probably keep testing the one Mezuki for myself to see how it goes. Should I play it as a 41st card or cut something for it?
Any thoughts on what to cut if I'm thinking about dropping in a small Despia engine (1-2× Aluber, 3× Branded Opening, Masquerade in the ED)? I love Masquerade's 600LP per card/effect to burn opponents
What about Jack-o-bolan? Im not a huge fan of it, but he can discard useful things, with him and uni-zombie we can make verte end use branded fusion even if we don't draw that card, or just use it to steal dpe XD
jack o bolan is really strong with doomking. literally just a free pop every round even if you don't have zombie world up. free bodies are always nice to get
mezuki is not a brick I don't think. uni-zombie can dump it, as well as branded fusion basically being 3 more copies of uni-zombie. sending a dark from deck, and lubellion discarding from hand
I built a very similar deck however mine runs more hand traps (10) and is at 41. I also run dragoon in my build with my branded package being 3x fusion, 1x albaz & 1 DM so we can get 1 pop/burn each turn plus the negate. Overall great list my guy 🤙🏼

I’ve been topping my locals every week (top 4) with this list and it works perfect-ish (nothing is ever 💯% perfect) for my local meta and really enjoy my list. Of course you can opt to play more traps but for this format I feel like handtraps are more effective then set 5 pass. Also I feel like dragoon is a far better card this format then DPE so for me dragoon is a no brainer

Really interesting list. Whenever I play Zombies I always try to squeeze in Solemn Strike for extra negates
I understand why the solitaire, but I cut mine slowly, and haven't looked back since.
Totally fair, ash is brutal on solitaire

have you done any testing with it yet and if so what would be some bad match ups and good side deck options for this build
do you also think dark ruler no more or allure of darkness might have a place in this deck also - for draw power and protection/board breaking
@@BigBear2000 Dark Ruler No More, probably. However, you don't have a whole lot of dark targets for Allure in most zombie builds
Good list but you can also send mezuki with branded fusion and sp summon mirrorjade with mezuki if they out it somehow
Lubellion/Albion only let you send dark/lights, so mezuki being earth isn’t spendable from deck

Just the fact that you need to open it with another card to dump it to grave makes it a brick
It is a brick, its not a garnet (drawing it isn't a huge detriment) but it's absolutely a brick
