I enjoyed this video so much. Your thread haul was awesome! I am needing a lot of thread right now. I am planning to go this week to buy some, I am kitting up 2 projects. I loved the progress that you have made on everything. The grapes is coming along so lovely. I like the penguins and the temperature flowers, so pretty.
I'm totally with you on needing to see progress. I also like to spend time with a project until I feel like I've gotten a good bit done. I always love to see the 'you make my heart melt piece' it's very cute. I like your version of the temperature chart. Very unique. I'm doing a crochet version but I've fallen a little behind lol Have a great stitchy week!
I think I might join you in "Monogamous May"! Lol. I have several WIP's that I enjoy making progress on, and though I do have a few kitted-up projects, I don't want to start them until I have a finish. I should be able to finish one project by May. Anyway thanks for sharing your beautiful work, and your great idea!
Great! I'm excited to see how much progress I can make when I'm not splitting my time between several projects. I think I'll use the tag #monogamousmay on Instagram for my daily updates. Feel free to use it!
Your WIPs are beautiful. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's finding Fantasy Triptych challenging but you have done so much more than I have and your middle panel is amazing. Great progress.
Thank you! A lot of the castle was stitched by my sister-in-law before it became her UFO. I've stitched some of the forest below the castle, the border and the lady. I need to backstitch the castle still and finish up the forest area, but it's a bit strange backstitching over someone else's cross stitches, since we stitch a bit differently. :)
My only full coverage is Epic Pokémon and I haven't figured out how to stitch it, but it's mostly cross country. Lol I wondered where you lived when you didn't have much of a winter. I'm in Ventura county :) Thanks for flosstubing!
Fun - small world! We went to Ventura for a day last week during Spring Break. :) I've played around with lots of different techniques on my full coverage designs - there are so many different methods! Everyone thinks and works differently, so it's fun to try them all to see which ones work best for me. And sometimes it changes depending on what type of full coverage design it is - lots of confetti or more distinctive shapes, etc.
I might join you for monogamous May too! That's a great idea ❤️ I'm not sure why I didn't realize you had so many full coverage pieces but I loved seeing each and every one of them - so many beautiful things you're working on right now 🙂
Wonderful! If you want, you can use the tag #monogamousmay in Instagram. :) I just checked and I have 16 full coverage pieces started, with 5 more kitted and ready to go. I'm sure there's no way I'll finish all of them, but it's fun working on them. I think I've started them with a frequency as if they were just like any other pattern - when I know now they are very much more time consuming than other patterns! :P
I usually include links to all the projects I show in the description box. The Snowflower Diaries patterns can be found on her blog for free: thesnowflowerdiaries.blogspot.com/. She also has an Etsy shop where you can find more of her patterns for sale: www.etsy.com/shop/TheSnowflowerDiaries.
I love your work was wondering have you ever though about allowing us to see you actually starting and working on your project. You decision making from start to finish. It would be nice to actually see the project progressing instead of just showing us the finished product. Just your idea on this.
Yes, I'm on the forum. :) I joined in on the most recent extended SAL, but I stopped participating in the regular SALs. I don't have very much stitching time on the weekends, and this year, I've been working on my little monthly projects on the weekends, so that's even less time to stitch on GK on the weekend. I do post updates whenever I finish a page on one of my GK charts!

Hi! Thank you for the update. Your Parks FFO looks fabulous! 🏕
What an awesome video!!!
OMG I can’t even imagine that employee scanning each of those skeins!!! Hahahah

How fun! I've heard about crochet temperature afghans - is that what you're making?
Yes. Its a chain of about 250-300 then just a single crochet row every day and color depending on the weather, very much like your flowers..

Your National Park framing is fabulous!
Thank you! It's fun when I can find a cute, but inexpensive way to frame something. :)
Hi!! Love all your projects, I love large designs too!! 💜
Thanks! I always seem to be drawn to the large designs. They're so pretty and detailed! :)
I might join you for monogamous May too! That's a great idea ❤️

I will definitely do that for May! As long as you're enjoying them doing them - that's the important thing!
You have such stunning wips! Really enjoyed your video
Thank you!
I enjoyed watching you, would love to know where to get the pattern or kits for the snow flower diaries at would love to stitch them up

Thanks for your input! I have considered doing some "stitch with me" style videos where you just see me stitching. Is this what you mean?
Are you on the Golden Kite fb group and forum? If you're not, come and join us 🙂 there are SALs every weekend
