Thanks fishy !! Its a great little boat !! I've got a lot more to come from it too 😉 there's currently 6 times as many pots out now and I've been doing VERY well as your see in videos over the next few months I've got a lot of other type of fishing footage to go up first !
That's a great job. Well done. You all worked really well as a team. And it's really great you caught dinner for yourself and Sarah. Besafe , take care.
gday capt bailiwick a fine vessel there sir a knowlageable captain and a pretty crew what more can you ask for , we use a third wheel here for beach launching or a extendable draw bar , make sure you wash that car down really well mate salt and cars do not go together , a good start to the walter g's life as a pot boat hopefully with many more great catches take care captain & sara .
Hello crispernator !! Thank you 😊 yeah I give the whole outfit boat and car a wash with fresh water hose for about half an hour all underneath the car I've always under sealed the car to prevent as much rust as I can, oh yes hopefully many more catches that was only the start before the storm I've got 6 times the amount of pots in the water now and still more to put down 😊take care Neil
Thanks Ray :) thay was only the start before the storm, I've got a good heap of pots out now wait until the next haul 😉 Thanks for watching as always Take care Neil
You are lucky to have such a hard launching beach. The beach is soft sand where I am, we have to use large 4wd tractors. I used to have a 2wd tractor, and it was a nightmare on the beach!
Yeah it's nice and hard 😀, oh no .. sounds a nightmare some people use tractors but only so they don't have to dip the car wheels in the water etc , but generally it's all OK
@@bailiwickfishing1295 I would imagine the sea water doesnt do the cars much good! There has been many people try to launch jet skis and boats down the beach here in expensive 4x4s, and after getting up to their axles, we get a rattle on the front door asking for a pull! The best one was a 4wd bmw cabriolet, he thought that would drive on the beach easily, he got 10ft from the slipway
@@beanysfishing2555 Hahaha 😆 bmw !! Why would you eh ? ... yeah most people over here know the sketch the tide comes in fast so you need to be organised and always have a plan B
Great start. Looks like you have a lucky boat. Good haul to begin with. You said you washed down your boat, hope you washed under your car because you backed it into Salty water.
Hi Yvonne 😀many thanks for watching!! Yes a fantastic day , that's correct I gave it a washing down underneath the car with fresh water to protect it as much as I can the car is also undersealed as a further protective 😀
Thanks Jeffery ahh well spotted 😬 did you hear me say as we went out " I've forgotten something " ... that was it there in the boat cuddy for next time ready to go 😃
Thanks Ross!! That was only 5 pots before the storm I've got a huge heap of pots wait until the next haul 😉 good question... well my grandpa who fished out of the little bay I launch from portelet for over 60 years was called Walter so I thought it was quite fitting 😃 thank you for watching appreciate the support and kind comments 👍
Ah nice one mate,i bought an avon searider,a little 4 meter rib,we just do a few herm trips and mooch down to fermain ect ,great fun but i do miss the fishing ..!!
Nice one (or three) Neil! What a result. Your new steed is a cracker. Now I'm feeling a bit more pumped about pulling my pots tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Anything is better than last year, but the sea is still proper murky for any decent fishing. 3 blanks in a row this last week... ...Enjoy your lobbies buddy. 🦞🦀🦞 Take it easy. Jack
Thanks Jack!! Oh yes lovely little boat that was before the storm about a month ago I now have over 30 pots in the water so watch out for the next video 😉 best of luck with your pots !! Hope there full Thanks as always for watching Neil
Thirty pots is like a full time job man. Wowsers. Boo here though. Couldn't get out. That anticyclone this week brought a great deal of uncertainty. Got out, but headed back in promptly. Pitching hard she was. Next week Neil. Next week....
