@Zoey Hope (formerly Zonnie Hoffer) exactly! I never thought him a bully but pushed out in a way, I understand people wanting somone to blame and its not Woojin. He was always front ¢er in the beginning and as time went on they(not skz) put him to the sides/back of group where you had to look for him (I think maybe because his dancing wasnt as strong as the others), honestly I like him so much more as a soloist it let's him shine with his vocals. The negative stays just need to move on let SKZ be who they are now and let Woojin grow as a soloist.
He may not hate woojin, but in a video when he was talking abt like friends leaving you and stuff, he was clearly talking abt woojin there, and in that video he seemed so disappointed and betrayed, knowing that he worked very hard to help every member and became great friends with them, just for one to leave (we cant blame woojin for leaving tho, its his life). Honestly, it doesn't even have anything to do with Woojin. A lot of the members look different now. Viagogo *still* uses those pictures though. At least as of July 2023.

Please help me out. Im a very new stay and an even newer CUB (only been a cub for two days). I’ve basically spent all day researching everything that went down with Woojin leaving and such. I’ve been worrying myself sick over this. I really wanna support both but how can I support someone that Bangchan, who seems like a guy that’s hard to get on his bad side, still seems to hate. Idk what to do I feel like I HAVE to choose sides. Please help

I think fans are trying to protect both Woojin and SKZ but it's wrong to protect them with lies and half-truths. I'll advise you to go look up the reasons JYP entertainment world sever a contract with an idol. Look up Chans video about Woojin leaving, and there might be a video or clip from Woojin saying, "everyone makes mistakes." I think he saw Chan's vlive and responded to it. (take this with a grain of salt bc I'm not too sure if the video is still on the Internet) I think you'll be able to make an educated guess that he made some type of mistake but we don't know the severity of it. I hope this helps you make an informed decision.

I think it's a pretty interesting question actually, I sometimes wonder, if it's a really nice picture or iconic video, not using it could also be disrespectful, if you don't use something because one person is no longer in the group isn't it rude to the remaining members who are also in it? I really thought that after 2 years (nearly 3 now) that people would have the common sense to understand that SKZ is ot8 now and will forever be ot8. Woojin will forever have the support of stays, and we wished nothing but the best for his solo career, it’s clear that he didn’t leave on a good note. I’m not sure if anyone remembers this but around the time of Clé: Levanter, Chan went on vlive and started talking about betrayal from the people closest to you. Of course he didn’t mention Woojin by name but everyone got the message loud and clear. Even though we would never demonize Woojin’s decision to leave the group, he really did leave the boys in an impossible position. They had to re-record the entire album as eight members, had to re-do promotional pictures for the albums and not to mention Chan had to deal with all of this by himself (emotionally I mean of course) now that he would be the oldest member. So it’s completely understandable why he felt betrayed (his words) and tbh he had and still does have every right to feel that way. And his request for us to use newer pictures was absolutely not rude or outlandish, it’s really the bare minimum guys! I really hope that these were just baby stays who just weren’t aware, but come on guys....
there's a difference between defending an ex member from allegations, and denying his departure and continue to push ot9 stuff. as a new stay, on my perspective it's understandable that he might somehow be disappointed with those people who used their old photos since it is really an incident that we never wanted and never expected but it did happen and might be they are still hurting because of that but working hard to go on for the people who love and support them, so we should respect that. They are the ones who really know the story of what happened back then so we cannot blame one person or another or we cannot dictate them with how they will react about it.

I use to like woojin, he was my bias. Even though the rumor is false, the way he left JYP is still suspicious. He left during tour, week or 2 weeks before Astronaut mv release. The fact that JYP delete his photo on IG and re release all the album without woojin in it. They said he had family problems or something, usually company will give hiatus and time to rest a little bit instead of terminated their contract right away.

No one is erasing the past. We're just literally focused on the present. He was always front ¢er in the beginning and as time went on they(not skz) put him to the sides/back of group where you had to look for him (I think maybe because his dancing wasnt as strong as the others), honestly I like him so much more as a soloist it let's him shine with his vocals. The negative stays just need to move on let SKZ be who they are now and let Woojin grow as a soloist.

I'll advise you to go look up the reasons JYP entertainment world sever a contract with an idol. Look up Chans video about Woojin leaving, and there might be a video or clip from Woojin saying, "everyone makes mistakes." I think he saw Chan's vlive and responded to it. (take this with a grain of salt bc I'm not too sure if the video is still on the Internet) I think you'll be able to make an educated guess that he made some type of mistake but we don't know the severity of it. I really thought that after 2 years (nearly 3 now) that people would have the common sense to understand that SKZ is ot8 now and will forever be ot8. Woojin will forever have the support of stays, and we wished nothing but the best for his solo career, it’s clear that he didn’t leave on a good note. I’m not sure if anyone remembers this but around the time of Clé: Levanter, Chan went on vlive and started talking about betrayal from the people closest to you. Of course he didn’t mention Woojin by name but everyone got the message loud and clear. Even though we would never demonize Woojin’s decision to leave the group, he really did leave the boys in an impossible position. They had to re-record the entire album as eight members, had to re-do promotional pictures for the albums and not to mention Chan had to deal with all of this by himself (emotionally I mean of course) now that he would be the oldest member. So it’s completely understandable why he felt betrayed (his words) and tbh he had and still does have every right to feel that way. And his request for us to use newer pictures was absolutely not rude or outlandish, it’s really the bare minimum guys! I really hope that these were just baby stays who just weren’t aware, but come on guys....

I use to like woojin, he was my bias. Even though the rumor is false, the way he left JYP is still suspicious. He left during tour, week or 2 weeks before Astronaut mv release. The fact that JYP delete his photo on IG and re release all the album without woojin in it. They said he had family problems or something, usually company will give hiatus and time to rest a little bit instead of terminated their contract right away.
