Just under 8 minutes to resolve Magma Opus. Everyone seemed to be having a blast helping with all of the triggers.

Awesome game with awesome people! What is even scarier is that Ben had that Past in Flames that he cast and he did nothing with it, but I understand completely the "no, I want this turn to end now" feeling as I've had it as well. Thanks to everyone of you for bringing such joy, and particularly Olivia, you're awesome and I'll continue to say it every chance I have. May we have you around for a long time!

Did the Magma Opus elemental ever come in or get mentioned? That (unless I missed it!) and the misunderstanding of the saga only being target opponent's creatures rather all creatures were a bit of a shame, but that was a complex turn with a lot going on to keep track of. It may or may not have made a difference in the end - maybe if some of those single pings had also been used to accrue damage on creatures instead of face.

When you just played against a Hylda deck last night to watching this the next day: PTMTGSD ;P lol
The first time I ever casted a Mana Drain was so sad because I actually forgot about the Mana it gave me on my fallowing turn. If I didn’t forget about the 5 extra Mana it would’ve given me I would’ve been able to keep up the interaction I needed to protect myself, and I could’ve probably taken someone out of the game with the extra spells I’d have been able to cast on my turn. It was a very stressful point in that game for me because there was a lot going on, and my life total was getting low really quick. I was a bit overwhelmed in the moment and made a few other misplays on top of that and it definitely cost me the game.
To bank on the theme of what was said around the 16:00 mark (calling people out), if you’re playing casual, you can still play your beloved banned cards that you have no business sending death threats over 😊
In all seriousness though, be good people, don’t be a bunch of jerks over a list that applies to a select section of an overall populace. Magic is a game, nobody is making you rely upon it as a source of income be it through sanctioned play or selling the powerful rare cards you pull.
And to go back towards sharing a comment that actually relates to this specific episode, love the amount of laughter and shenanigans in this episode. Y’all are awesome, thank you for putting out a quality video to distract this particular guy from the dismal reality that is life. I could use the laughs today and y’all delivered them.
I love Olivia’s Pramikon deck because I’m a huge combat robotics fan(so much so that I am actually competing in a tournament this weekend with my own robot) and loved the explanation that Kyle hill gave from the episode of commander at home he was in

Even if this wasnt a banked episode, no one should really care about the lotus hitting the table lol. The fun of Elder Dragon Hijinks (and commander at hone) is how well it shows off the casual nature of the format. This clearly wasnt an Cedh game and everyone had a good time.

The mana drain was great. Understandable too, its CGB, who else would you mana drain? Leave him alone and he becomes a fast threat.
Hmm. The two pop-up cards showing the text of Optimus Prime's two sides seem to be swapped around - at 46:46 you can see Autobot Leader when he's just switched to Hero, and the reverse was true earlier.

If it was at my kitchen table, freeze counters and ember counters would dissolve each other like +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters. That is reasonable and so niche that it would work.
HOWEVER, that would allow you to add blaze counters to your own dark depths to remove ice counters... hmm...
