It made me glad I’m not in this stage anymore of trying to figure these things out. I definitely should practice more but I’m glad I’m not in the early stages anymore.
This dude made more progress, and had more dedication than I did in 2-3 years, that's why I whished I understood sooner that what matters is how you practice, not how much you draw, you need to draw understanding what you're doing, use reference, learn basic theory on anatomy, color, shading, etc.
i actually felt shame.i've been drawing for years and i saw a beginner hard working like this and got better at something that i suck at,i even happens to stop drawing like almost a year, never watched this guy before but now,TAKE MY RESPECT MY MAN
Fun little art tips for anyone reading the comments: Your elbows are at the middle of your torso The top of bare feet are like a little ramp When you close your fingers down, the sizes are even You can use complimentary colors as shading to make things look better When drawing an eye, you can start with a parallelogram Hands are sorta divided into two sections, fold your hand for reference (touch thumb and pinky) Due to color theory, when doing traditional art, always start with the brightest color, then continue down to the darkest The sides of your head (except your cheeks) are flat THATS ALL GOODBYE
Your elbows do not always land at the middle of you’re torso, The shoulders are a very maneuverable joint and I can drop my elbows to the iliac crest (the curve at the top) of my hips with only shoulder movement. But I guess this could be a quick measurement in some cases, the bottom of the rib cage lands on the same spot btw (if you dont count the floating ribs). The top of bare feet do have a hump, But yeah that curve can be a quite useful and easy simplification. The sizes of finger joints are different proportionally to each finger. They will always be different sizes except from a few specific perspectives where you cant see the pointer finger. They are closer to even but the same basic curve (or angle) still emerges. Yeah. You can, and thats a nice aesthetic because complimentary colors generally do, you know compliment each other. But please, dont stop experimenting with other palettes or aesthetics. The parallelogram, yeah that can be pretty usefull especially because its an easy shape to draw so you can get the proportions of both eyes to work before you draw them. (This ones good IMO, I dont use it though) Ahh, yes the old square and triangle simplification. A great way to break down the basic shape of the hand into an easily imagined and thought about form. This technique is not due to color theory at all, but is a technique for working in mediums that are transparent or semi-transparent (or anything that stays workable on the worksurface) Like watercolor. Where you build up layers on a white page, the paper is the lightest tone in the image and every stroke you put down will darken the spot that you put it. In watercolor it is generally good to lay down your lights first or start with a background gradation because it stays workable on the page. The colors can bleed, and its much more noticeable (and probably unwanted) if a dark color bleeds into a light color than the other way. As for other media. Alcohol markers, chalk pastels, or anything that stays workable on the page. This is probably a good thing to do too. (This is by no means a rule. Just a guideline to make things generally easier, go ahead and break it if you want :) Umm, yeah. But, if you want to go deeper try learning the loomis method of drawing heads, not too hard and is very similar to the one used in this video. Or try the planes of the face. Nothing is safe, everything becomes flat. These takes are all coming from the perspective of making realistic art. Some of them, the simplifications (foot as a curve and fist as having even fingers) especially can slow down or hinder your understanding of how things really look. Representational art is all about understanding how things look. Even hyper-stylized art still uses concepts that are based in real life. While some of these are great things to think about and can be very useful, they are WAY oversimplified in their explanation. One tip from me: in everyday life try to look at the world as if you were going to draw it. Try to think about how peoples bones look underneath the clothes, try to find the structures in the ear or the nose whose shape and lines make up a style you like. Commit other peoples movements to memory as if you were going to animate it. Look for the push and pull of color in light and shadow (like in general daylight, shadows that can see the sky will be tinted blue). Because observation with your eyes is just as important as how well your hand is trained in making lines.
You improved alot in 30 days. bruh people be saying "i could never draw good like that". I can definitely say that most people on the planet can draw well if they just know where to look and start practicing! keep practicing and youll be drawing smoking hot anime babes in no time 💪

To anyone who wants to start in art but doesn't know where to start. As an artist I recommend: Beguin practicing perspective, up to 3 point perspective it's okay but I recommend do up to 5 as it looks sick! And can help you a lot in the long run. After having a good hold of it. Start doing some gestual drawing so you can start getting familiar with body shape and fluently then start practicing drawing the body parts (using boxes, circles or whatever you use) Combine gesture drawing with these and you get sick poses. Practice all you can time and time again, you can do fanart as practice too. Last but not least for coloring you can begin using black and white first so you understand how does shading works. I recommend practice shading boxes in perspective that helped me a lot to understand how to shade the surface. Remember heads have volume! Don't hesitate to ask any doubts! Take care :D
Dont forget about proportions!! Its the first thing you learn about human body, and dont forget to not only practice but watching tutorials on topic of what you practicing

You'll get there! 2) As an artist who has been drawing essentially all my life, it's really weird to see someone explaining the learning process like this. So much of this I learned naturally and over time through my childhood and teenage years without tutorials, just because over years and years these things became apparent, but they weren't things I ever consciously thought about. Stuff like segmenting hair and faces, drawing torsos, and other basic things feel so natural to me because I learned them over long expanses of time. It's kind of wild to see my learning process expressed like this, so blatantly, rather than as more of a subconscious journey. You learned a lot about art in a mere 30 days compared to what I've learned in like 2 years. Shows a lot about how being able to pour consistent hours into reflecting on your mistakes and identifying what to work on to fix them goes a whole way. Good job!
@みよ-ちゃん ☕ some people need structured learning like in an art school or a course(with feedback obviously). But some people might also progress slower too and if you have both then it's annoying.
This is gold, your ability to learn from not being able to draw a glorified stickman (unlike many other drawing improvement challenge on yt) to drawing sasuke on a dynamic pose (also that zero-two masterpiece) with really packed commentary to top it off is amazing and I am subscribing.
I’ve actually been drawing since 1st grade, and I still do to this day, I see how art improves overtime, i love your commitment to get better, but it may take a while, great drawings, and keep it up! (It may take a year or two, maybe more from my experience.) :))
Amazing progress, man! Learning art can be really difficult, especially when you don't know where to start, but your commitment to improve is everything you need. If you keep practicing with the same level of dedication, you'll eventually get to where you want to be as an artist. Keep up the good work!
Alright because of this, your commitment, the entertainment you've been giving, and I'm actually quite inspired by this... Imma subscribe! Thanks for making my day

This is just proof that critical practice is what brings improvement… not just constant drawing. Your improvement over this time was really phenomenal. And it’s so important how you just told yourself “it’s okay because I learned so much”. That’s exactly the goal!
Extremely impressive! Keep it up! The dedication you’re showing proves that what a person can do off and on for years can be done in only a month. I’m excited for the next installation!

Your improvement in 30 days is very impressive! I've been drawing probably since I could hold a pencil and the level you're at after 30 days is probably the same as when I was ~13, which is incredible considering that was multiple years of development for me. I hope you stick with art because I'd love to see you continue improving your work! Btw, I have a tip that may greatly help you out! Ask for constructive criticism. I am in multiple discord art servers where I ask for critique as I work, the final product will always come out better when you ask others for their feedback!

Nothing is better than getting to the point where you like your art and being able to bring anything you want to life in art its an amazing feeling everyone should learn and practice
the earlier you start, the easier it will be to pick up new skills. i started at the age of 5 (maybe earlier) and i attempt to sketch something every day. even if you dont every single day, you are still improving. i find after i take a break, i come back more confident in my skills. i am still improving, but since im still young, picking up tips and tricks is way easier.
As someone who’s been drawing for 8 years I remember going through all these phases Even looking at drawings from 2018-2020 I still had really bad art,I realized I had to learn a lot more anatomy
This video unlocked a lot of my memory when I first tried out digital art (I used a small phone and my finger) it was so frustrating and fun at the same time. If you can keep this up for a few years you'll definitely get better and better!
I've seen a few people post tips so here are some of my own! Take apart professional artist's work, especially if you like their art. Simplify and deconstruct their lines, and realize why you like them. If you have a few artists you enjoy do the same, and then combine it onto one face. This is a quick way to find your own art style, especially if you don't have a defined one or are unhappy with your current one. Digital Art and Traditional Art may seem similar, but there are many differences when it comes to the process. If you're using digital and are having issues with line control increase your tool's stabilization. I personally use 20-50 depending on the tool! "A fast line is a confident line" - long fast will appear smoother in digital art. I also recommend avoiding "petting your lines", or going over the same line until you get the shape you want. Confident lines may also help increase your speed when drawing! Hope this helps someone! :)
30 days of digital art and your skills are improving at a faster rate than mine over the course of 5 years. Round of applause to you, mate! This video was really inspiring and I'm excited to see how your style develops and skills that will likely surpass mine in the near future :D I would recommend the artist, Ethan Becker if you haven't checked them out already. they have some pretty nice tips!

I've always understood talent as not an innate ability to do something better than your peers but rather an innate ability to understand something better than your peers. For example, let's assume you're a math genius. If I gave you a problem you've never learned about before, you obviously wouldn't be able to complete it; However, you _would_ be able to learn how to solve the problem much faster than others. that doesn't mean that no one else would be able to learn that. It's stupid to think art is any different. Some people understand things better than others, and some of those people have put in a shit ton of work to be really good at it. People like us who aren't so good at understanding the things we love just gotta put in some extra effort because we love it. I feel like that kind of went all over the place, and I now realize that this really has no business in this video's comment section, I was just trying to say that ZUFFY is a talented man who put in the effort. Hope it helps anyone that comes across it.

Fun little art tips for anyone reading the comments:

(This ones good IMO, I dont use it though)
Ahh, yes the old square and triangle simplification.
Just a guideline to make things generally easier, go ahead and break it if you want :)
Umm, yeah.

@@missachin5054 Yesss, go slay them. Wish you the best!
You learned a lot about art in a mere 30 days compared to what I've learned in like 2 years. Shows a lot about how being able to pour consistent hours into reflecting on your mistakes and identifying what to work on to fix them goes a whole way. Good job!
As a person that’s been drawing for 7-6 months I’m very impressed by how fast you improved
@みよ-ちゃん ☕ His progress was like a punch to the gut for me.
@みよ-ちゃん ☕ some people need structured learning like in an art school or a course(with feedback obviously). But some people might also progress slower too and if you have both then it's annoying.
as a person who tried learning how to draw many times but gave up because of boredom, i think this person literally lost the ability to become bored
@@a-ragdoll you should find your real art style
I think its because he practiced so much, i fr need this mans work ethic
This is gold, your ability to learn from not being able to draw a glorified stickman (unlike many other drawing improvement challenge on yt) to drawing sasuke on a dynamic pose (also that zero-two masterpiece) with really packed commentary to top it off is amazing and I am subscribing.
ive been drawing for 12 years straight and somehow the poses and the shading is ten times better than what i can do nowadays
I love how well you were able to show genuine improvement and how hard work pays off in the end. Great Job!
Thanks for making my day
Dang! you improved so fast and those final-day illustrations were great for how long you spent practicing! You should honestly keep trying if you’ve made it this far! I’m proud!
19:53. My man actually used Narancia and Jolyne as practice, this is going to make me cry of joy! Also, great work! I saw lots of improvement through the days and the commitment is incredible! You're going to be a professional artist soon, I guarantee it!
6:32 - “Drawing hands = death-“ Wise words from a wise man 👌
Yeah it sucks like hell
4:23 okay im just shocked on how that looks so good
as an artist who been drawing for 8-9 years... it makes me realize how difficult it is to start drawing out of nowhere. You did a really good job !!! and you even got a motivation CUTE ANIME GIRLS (and maybe content, kek)
I'm getting scared that he's going to surpass me in art. He hasn't passed me yet but I can feel it in my bones 😔
Stop fighting me in the replies, this is a joke, dont take it seriously

if youre really that pressed on him catching up to you, you better get going o.O

Your not main character chill out boy
@@jacobbelvin8854 your not a protag either.
You’re actually doing great! Keep improving and keep drawing! You’ll be impressed at what you can do.
it was amazing seeing your art journey, you've improved a lot!! Keep it up
As an artist i think you did it very well! you improved a lot!
Zuffy is gorgeous, Zuffy is cool, Zuffy is a hard- working guy, be like Zuffy
Your improvement in 30 days is very impressive! I've been drawing probably since I could hold a pencil and the level you're at after 30 days is probably the same as when I was ~13, which is incredible considering that was multiple years of development for me. I hope you stick with art because I'd love to see you continue improving your work!
Btw, I have a tip that may greatly help you out! Ask for constructive criticism. I am in multiple discord art servers where I ask for critique as I work, the final product will always come out better when you ask others for their feedback!
The final drawings are actually really good. They kinda remind me of the monke nft’s.
worst way to compliment lmao

Bro you just grilled the drawings
This was actually encouraging, seeing the improvements in just a month
That was really inspiring; I hope you keep applying yourself because the only thing that separates great art and bad art is dedication. Nice job!
Wow, just wow, you've improved so much. I'm genuinely proud of you
20:16 i'm late but, try to draw the toes into two shapes (the big toe and the small ones)
It's easier than drawing each individual toe, and you can calculate the space between each one way better.
Well, that's what I do
I really enjoy watching these and look forward to more, if you choose to do more. If you do choose to do more i recommend looking up some tutorials on how to best use whatever drawing program you use. I constantly learn new things about paint tool sai I never knew about that make my life a million times easier.
It's fun seeing how much you have to do to get better and that you need a lot of practice. Now I feel pretty motivated to improve my art myself.
This is pure bliss, and you dont know how many times i had said “YES. THATS RIGHT! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!” In my head :)
As funny and sad as this is, thank you, you’re inspiring me to try and get good at art
Zuffy on his Way to Become The Best Artist in the world
Awesome video!😆
Hello :o
14:00 You went from sketch to line art , a begginer mistake that I also used to make a lot . Try 2-3 sketches before going to lineart .
Not obligatory but pretty useful . Also I haven't drawn in a few days , this video inspires me to ! Thanks ! Love it .
3:50 was the turning point. Your poses got much much better after doing this technique.
bro, ive been doing art for 2 years and im not gonna lie ur coloring skills are better than mine 10 fold, prob just cus im a traditional artist but yea very good job u made HUGE improvements in 30 days awesome!
I’m really hoping for a part three even if this video isn’t very popular
Nothing is better than getting to the point where you like your art and being able to bring anything you want to life in art its an amazing feeling everyone should learn and practice
the earlier you start, the easier it will be to pick up new skills. i started at the age of 5 (maybe earlier) and i attempt to sketch something every day. even if you dont every single day, you are still improving. i find after i take a break, i come back more confident in my skills. i am still improving, but since im still young, picking up tips and tricks is way easier.
As someone who is also trying to become better at drawing, this was both informative and entertaining af, love your humor. Got a sub outta me
"Nothing is harder to draw than a pelvis" forgets about the hands
Akihito Yoshitomi is actually the GOAT, giving us all that knowledge for free.
Holy shit chill with the editing
This was amazing to watch! I have been having many troubles with my art, and you motivated me not to quit. Thanks!
Great job on your success, btw!
That's amazing improvement in just 30 days! Well done! I've been drawing for an year and a half now and you sure we're committed. Amazing job!
12:41 i was expecting a masterpiece but after saw that...
14:30 that looks pretty decent tbh
As someone who’s been drawing for 8 years I remember going through all these phases
Even looking at drawings from 2018-2020 I still had really bad art,I realized I had to learn a lot more anatomy
“I just wanna draw cute women” is somehow so alienated yet very relatable at the same time
I've never seen you, or your channel before. But your art videos are the only thing I'm willing to watch. Keep them up :)
1:04 bro flabbergasted
that looks gas ngl
yeah it does
😁
tbh its really cool how much he improves
Respect the grind man! I doubt I could even attempt something like this for even a week.
Why? Your literally just drawing
This video was really inspiring and I'm excited to see how your style develops and skills that will likely surpass mine in the near future :D
I would recommend the artist, Ethan Becker if you haven't checked them out already. they have some pretty nice tips!

I'm total newbee at this as well, but seeing your progress and dedication
made me want to learn it even more!
Wish you success! 😉
I've been drawing for all my life, yet you managed to create better art than me by just drawing for 30 days
*What have I been doing wrong*
dont worry u arent alone i feel extremely defeated
You have not been drawing all your life then
@@dinosharttt actually you dont know that, people learn at different paces. this person really could have been drawing for their whole life and still might not be the best. it takes time, not all people learn at the same time. ive been drawing since i was 4 and im still not at a professional level
That because you does draw furries

i love zuffy's vids but I HATE HOW THEY ALWAYS GET AGE RESTRICTED I DONT KNOW HOW TO TURN THAT OFF
It’s cuz of 17:05
That was super entertaining 😂 i'm excited to see more of your art journey!
Hope it helps anyone that comes across it.
what the hell, why is he actually getting good at this, this is not what was supposed to happen
Because of practice, I’m pretty sure you haven’t but, it’s a thing.
15:30 kakyoin
16:30 ppl who go to the gym be like
Thanks man your video was a good reference for m. seeing how you started your journey and how you went through it has shown me what to do. I spend the hole month of February studying trying to draw a few particular characters then I went to figure and studied them too but afterwards I didn't know what to do or how to practice to improve forwards but you have shown me the way that some art courses I bought didn't. I will use your knowledge to see how I can improve in march
19:19 * darling in the franxx noises * (pls dont ask me how i know bc i dunno myself)
I heard that after a certain amount of childhood years you cant learn how to draw beyond a certain level. Boy am I glad you proved that to be wrong.
Who said that? That's true for learning language, not art.
