Seeing Omen use his teleport without being limited by the game mechanics and go wherever he wants on command was incredible. We truly go to see just how powerful he is.
Considering they announced a valorant series to be released a few years from now, this is probably Riot's practice and first tests for a full cinematic series on Valorant.
It's real feel... Time is out and omen no way for run. He promised Omen that they would find out the truth about his origins... And he simply realized that Omen had no way to escape.
Mad respect to cypher for picking up and putting on the hat again after ulting, he knew the minions won't be able to handle his final "Bald cypher" form.
For those who don't understand: Omen was a part of a program called "Shrouded step" where the directive was to kill a target you got assigned to kill. (I believe ISO was also a part of this program, as we saw in his reveal trailer that he had omen as a target but decided not to kill him, hence why he said "I quit" at the start of this cinematic.) Also, in this cinematic it got revealed that omen had viper as a target to kill, but failed and viper poisoned him and then started experimenting on him, this is how omen went from a person, to who he is now. Omen had no memory if the fact that viper made him into who he is, before this cinematic, but now he got flashbacks and now he knows that viper is the leading cause to his appearance and voice. This is also why he said "I will deliver it...Personally" because he now wants his revenge on viper.
If you look at the images, you can see that Viper used her toxins as self-defense, rendering Human Omen immobile so she had time to push him in the chamber and start the mechanism. If we based on the conversation between Omen and the Hourglass boss, this was at the time that Radianite wasn't public yet and not much info has been discovered about it. Sabine was the lead researcher, barely survived an assassination attempt, and probably had no idea what would happen if she pulled the lever (which she pulled on instinct). My theory is that when Omen worked for hourglass, the operation had him in a cover for months. Long enough for him to get high level clearance from Kingdom and be Sabine's assistant. He got close enough to Sabine for her to trust him, and this event was the catalyst that created the two agents we know now: Omen (from being split apart by the mechanism) and Viper (Sabine changing from the betrayal).
Tbh i don't think he wants revenge. in a recent voice message, he was angry not bcz viper killed him, but bcz she didn’t tell anything about it, seeing how he suffered on attempts to discover his past. He said "I'm not my past" or kinda like this, so I think he wants to... apologie mb? Clear up this misunderstanding at least. He's not a killer anymore and doesn't want to be him. He used to see viper as a teammate, not a target. Anyway I love valorant lore so badly and open to any discussion. Especially when riot gives us more questions then answers lol
More evidence that Omen was a fellow contractor alongside Iso is that Iso asks Omen if it's true that every target he was assigned is always dealt with (or something along those lines) in a voiceline.
As an Omen main for 3 years now, I lost count of how many times I've watched again and again his entrance. I have been waiting for so long for him to be in a cinematic, I guess the waiting was worth.
From a film perspective, this was their best cinematic to date. Pacing, story, cinematography were all S Tier. Props to all of the artists that worked on this one!
Riot Games seriously needs to make a Valorant series about each agents lore and the other Earth. An animation like Arcane would be beast. Serious talent.

The name of this episode is the best part of this. This mission isn't anything related to keeping Valorant a secret or stopping Omega invasions, this missions is just to get Omen some answers, which isn't really necessary to VAL-Protocols interests. Knowing also that Viper has something to do with Omen's situation might also hint the beginning of an uncertain conflict that will break peace between them. Nice decision to do this.

Also when he says "fool" while falling he sounds extremely like Omen saying the same. 5:23. Those small details are what make Valorant lore amazing as always.
I absolutely ADORE the fact that Sova can canonically float during his ult! That and amazing performance on both the cinematography and action! Always lovely to see!
I don't like either league or valorant but I love riot's cinematics. Arcane was so good if they're gonna make a valorant series or movie I'd defnitely watch it
I love the lore so much and how great Riot is at dripping it parts at a time. It's great to see all the characters getting the focus on their motivations and how it affects how they interact and work
Yea, they were mostly a cameo or comic relief in most videos... Its good to see their personalities finally explored a little... I just wish that my man KO would get an entrance like that... Like his only main video was his trailer which wayyyyy back, but it was still dope as (u get the idea)
This confirms how deeply Omen and Iso must be connecte in the lore. In Iso's Agent trailer we saw him working for the Hourglass company and getting Omen as his next target, to which he sighed. Now he says he has "questions for the boss" who wants him to kill Omen. Well, it also seems like he now knows a little more than Viper wants him to, which will be very interesting going forward. Can't wait to see more lore about these agents and the 'Omen incident' being crafted, it's really well made :3
I can't even think straight right now! This was probably their best cinematic yet! So much lore, so many game references with the sounds and voicelines, beautiful animation and music as always... 6 and a half minutes of perfection, give us a movie already!!
So If I'm interpreting this properly, Omen was hired by Hourglass to kill Viper, but he missed and got radianite spilled on himself. Now that the air has poisonous lethal chemicals in it, Viper locks Omen in the room and puts the building on lockdown, however somehow the raidianite got ignited and blew up with Omen still trapped turning him into who, or should I say what he is now
So Viper's mollys are made with radianate? Cuz it's exactly like her molly She could use radianate for dmg I supose but it seems like a waste Anyway Viper created a demon
To be honest, do not think she is an Villain, Omen was send out to kill her, and she looked at him with "fear" if you pay attention to shot with her eye on his mask. Personal theory? Omen was send out to kill her, but ended up hit with some type of new experiment, maybe to save him she turned him into what he is now, with is why she never told the truth, seeing how badly Omen hates what he is now.(Correction, the eye scene was Omen's not Viper's lol)
Didn't omen try and kill viper though? It's already established that viper and omen knew each other so most likely they worked together and this proves that. Omen was undercover and tried to kill her and she locked him in that machine and turned him into what he is now. I guess
The VALORANT videos are getting better and better, it surprises me, and I even really like the animations and characters, for example I really liked ISO, and his abilities when he came out in the game. Keep making more animations how are you, and make them last longer, I can't stop watching this, it's excellent
As much as I freaking love these well made Episodes.... I'm wating 3 years already for it to become a series so that I can finally immerse myself into the lore fully. Keep it up Riot!! I'm happy to support the videogame aswell as a maybe upcoming series...:D
For those of you who dont understand: Omen was sent to kill Viper to stop her from telling the world of the existence of radianite. However, Viper managed to trap omen in a box filled with radianite, which then (this is the part where it is just speculation) split omen into two, Iso and Omen. We think that Iso went back to the hourglass company (shown in this synematic), and only joined Valorant recently. However, Omen was forced to join Valorant by viper.
Its clear viper had something to do with omens “creation” so to speak, but I don’t know if iso has anything to do with it. It seems to me that omen worked for that guy before he became the agent we know today.
@@timberland3220 if I remember omen is obsessed by iso and viper don't want the 2 in the same room (to be more precise viper is afraid that he will get back his memory and trigger an episode and be a menace for VALORANT and they don't know Iso)
The way Sova says "Nowhere to run", so much passion and power in his voice, yet so genuine and soft. All of the Voice acting in this Cinematic was incredible and there's no doubt in my mind that Omen will get what he wants, especially if he keeps this up. This is one of if not my favorite cinematic and seeing Cypher actually do something is great. Not to mention the personality omen portrays even with just a grunt. Keep it up Riot. And add a replay system
An anti-radiant machine?... NEW THEORY, what if the boss is a radiant himself, he wasnt afraid of dying to *fall damage* and we all know how the radiant wars happened 200 years after the current events and Brimstone, a human, was still alive by then, so Radianite was used to medicine so well it expanded the life expectancy of humans to hundred of years. So what if this hourglas Company actually created or atleast HELPED in the creation of Kay/O????

This confirms how deeply Omen and Iso must be connecte in the lore. In Iso's Agent trailer we saw him working for the Hourglass company and getting Omen as his next target, to which he sighed. Now he says he has "questions for the boss" who wants him to kill Omen. Well, it also seems like he now knows a little more than Viper wants him to, which will be very interesting going forward. Can't wait to see more lore about these agents and the 'Omen incident' being crafted, it's really well made :3

Cuz it's exactly like her molly
She could use radianate for dmg I supose but it seems like a waste

Viper being a villain of some sorts in this story doesn't surprise me but I feel for my boy omen 😭
I guess

Why Iso specifically? What makes you think he’s Omens other half?
Its clear viper had something to do with omens “creation” so to speak, but I don’t know if iso has anything to do with it. It seems to me that omen worked for that guy before he became the agent we know today.

The way Sova says "Nowhere to run", so much passion and power in his voice, yet so genuine and soft. All of the Voice acting in this Cinematic was incredible and there's no doubt in my mind that Omen will get what he wants, especially if he keeps this up. Valorant cinematic universe never disappoints and the lore is just getting wild 🔥
Bro the lore that this cinematic contains is crazy. From Omen's past to the secret anti-radiant machine, it's so cool!
