i still have the older13s ultra and the torque is still crazy. Absolutely destroyed a meepo nls pro in a race. threw some mbs wheels on it and its a super smooth and relaxing ride when you want it to be.
That board looks like a beast ! Wish I could try one out. I agree there’s nothing better than a simple electric skateboard that just rides well without all the extra weight of big motors and wheels and all that ! Shred on Scotty !
As another person you recommend the beast board to ,I get what he means . Straight forward and no frills . There should be one in every quiver . Good review Scott.
Love my ultra, it’s not the x or pro but I needed something more up to date than my 2020 Beastboard,. Deff worth the $ with higher quality parts and smart turn on.
love my ultra too. Came from a backfire g3 and it's a big step up in terms of performance and ride feel. Just feels like a quality board. Even though i have the og one it's been super reliable and easy to work on.
Yup the esc would be 10 amps less if it used the 80A explorer esc. Maybe not for the new 14s explorer esc though. From the new explorer pro Can’t wait for you guys to review those and the other new Tynees.
Hello Scott, I have a question. When you look at Backfire and Exway boards the enclosures of battery and ESC there are totally independently sealed which makes them water proof even when the board flexes whilst boards like the Tynee just have a cover placed over the enclosures which I find less believable and thorough. What do you think?
Awesome review! I was waiting for this one after watching many of your others. How do you think this board compares to someone coming from a Boosted Stealth? Especially the remote quality and the torque/braking?
Honestly that was the board I kept thinking it replaced Literally was thinking of making a video and cutting in snips from Casey N and addressing all his wants in a board The brakes feel a smig softer but that’s always going to be the case compared to that reverse brake on Boosted
Pretty sure the hangers aren’t the same as the explorer, these trucks are Paris v3 clones. They are the same width as the explorer though(9.5 inch inner width)
Nice review Scott! Is this hobbywing the same ESC as the 80A Hobbywing ESC v7.0 that is an option on the Explorer now? The 80A Explorer ESC v2.0 is no longer in stock in the US and I was wondering if the 80A Hobbywing ESC had the same torque. It sounds like the ESC on the Ultra X Pro may be a bit weaker.
Yes this is not the same as the explorer esc That one is based off a Hobbywing but has been customized and had a new remote as well, This one is the 9028 v7 not sure about the amps
Thanks for the reply Scott. Two options of ESC are now listed for the Explorer on the Tynee website. One is listed as "80A Hobbywing ESC v7.0" and the other as "80A Explorer ESC v2.0" hence the confusion. @@scottdaviesyoutube
Hey Brad, man a stinger will be perfect at the mount and down Papamoa way the roads and paths are sweet Use SCOTTD at checkout Only gives like $5 off but gets your board at the top of the queue and a set of free belts Enjoy !! 😊
@@scottdaviesyoutube thanks so much mate. Will grab this tomorrow. Just wanna say to, your vids are the best in the Eskate scene. Super proud to have a kiwi doing comprehensive vids like this. Congratulations.
*This is me too, I still love the simpler form factor eBoards* ⚡️🤟🏽🤟🏽⚡️ The fact that Tynee offer 3 versions of the Ultra is amazin, the more choice people have the better. Nice to see Hobbywing on this one, although I've not had a chance to try the Explorer ESC. Rubber sealed power button is a life saver! Had to replace it twice on a board I had from a different brand. Very thorough review mate, nice one! Any chance of a top 5 usb-c wireless lavs/mics under $80 video?
Have you done a range test?
Great review mate. Traditional style boards with simplicity is great too. Thanks for reminding us. 💯🛹🦘
Thanks for the mention in your vid!! Keep up the great work mate your reviews are awesome!

Back to basics with this one and sometimes... it's a good thing to remeberr how good initial / first boards were ;-)
Love my ultra, it’s not the x or pro but I needed something more up to date than my 2020 Beastboard,. Deff worth the $ with higher quality parts and smart turn on.
Yep totally agree
It’s amazing how far the quality has come in just a few years

I've been curious about this one! great review!!
Hello, thanks for all your videos! What are your few favorite street boards, belt or gear driven between $500 to $1,500 price range? Thank you!
Yup the esc would be 10 amps less if it used the 80A explorer esc.
Maybe not for the new 14s explorer esc though. From the new explorer pro

Beast board was my first board also, lol. Great first board.
I think beast was a lot of people’s first
Board 😆
Yes this Ultra is really well refined
Man, I love your vids
Thank you ! Appreciate your comments

Hmmm maybe Tynee UXP, that is a sweet looking ride, nothing beats thane and a flexy deck for me😊
Nice name UXP
AGREEE, street wheels and flexy deck is a lot of fun 🤩

What's your go to commute and Wynnum Esplanade board?
scotty, range?
How would this compare to a Tynee Stinger? The Stinger is 12S and this board is 14S. Are they comparable in acceleration?
Are you a Tynee brand ambassador?
Hi mate
I’m not an ambassador for any brands, just work with them all.
Hey Scotty, if you had to choose one between this and the stinger, which would it be?
Ohhh that’s tough, I love both for different reasons
Most likely I’d pick the Stinger ! For the carve and still has amazing speed and range

Great review Scott. I think you hit the nail on the head. Keeping it simple and just enjoying electric skateboarding.👍👍👍🛹🛹
If they made this with the gear drive option id get it in a heart beat woth both kegel and abec adapters
Watch this space 😉
This or Stinger?
Tynee Ultra X pro or wait for exway paragon ?
@@alexandrefaustino2448 personally I’d get the Ultra pro X (unless you need lights and fast swap battery
The costs of the ultra is so good
Is this board better than Voyager and Zealot X?
A lot better than Zealot X a little better than Voyager imo
Hey mate, from Mt Maunganui, any chance I can get a promo code from Tynee?
I wanna get the stinger.

Hey Scotty, which board feels more powerful, this or the og stinger?
Hmmm honestly they feel the same
This one just had a higher top speed
For the price, I'd just go with the Meepo Voyager.

Seems like a really decent board! I like how the logo looks like a power on symbol too 🤌🏼 ⚡️
這台如果裝上AT輪,不知道表現如何?
