also, to those that dont have chocolate, you can use coconut oil. Just melt it and mix a lot of cocoa powder, i use no sugar with it, but you can add sugar to make it sweeter. Once you freeze it, its so good as well
Thank you so much, I was looking for simple sweets that that I don't have to use the oven for because it's sooooo hot here, can't wait to try these, I'll let you know what my teens think 🖤
Every time I try this, the chocolate cools quickly and becomes too thick. I've tried heating it more, but then it starts to cook and thicken more. Any advice to get it thinner?
This looks delicious, Robin! Thank you for the idea! I have Hershey's chocolate syrup and another kind of ice cream chocolate syrup that hardens upon contact with frozen things. I am going to do an experiment now to see which one might work (freezing the banana first with the ice cream chocolate). If neither works, I will get the Guittard chips tomorrow. Also have a variety of nuts to try. :)
I have the Hershey's covered bananas with mixed crushed nuts (used my rolling pin over the ziplock baggy), and the plain bananas in the freezer right now. Will try to coat the frozen plain ones with the ice cream chocolate when they are done. Probably in the morning. I love your channel so much, Robin! I am so glad I found you, although sadly, only about 1 1/2 months ago. Can't believe I have missed out on your awesome recipes all these years. You are amazing and your dad looked like such a wonderful man.
Well, the verdict is in, Robin. 1. The Hershey's syrup tasted fantastic, but it didn't freeze very well. Eating the bites with a fork or spoon was a good option for that....2. Although the ice cream syrup froze wonderfully, the flavor just wasn't there. 3. So, my final experiment is that you are right, you can't go wrong with Guittard chocolate chips! Flavor and freeze ability are both there. Thanks again! :)
Hola, sweet adorable Robin. Your chocolate covered banana bites look just too pretty to eat. What's your best tip for making triple chocolate strawberries? Have a good day, sweet adorable Robin.
