One of my favorite Neville excerpts. Yes, it takes "time" but, that time is different for "everyone." It could be several days, a week, a month... We don't know... We just focus on "the end" and continue with that vision until manifest.
@@NotJoegoldberg For several months when I started my job as an Loan Originator I had to live on a draw of 300 a week, which was pennies compared to the bills I had to pay. I had no closings for months on end. But in my mind's eye I had plenty, and in some form or another I was able to pay everything, from random jobs people would ask me to do (I never looked for them myself, they always came to me out of the blue), even tho I had little to no experience in any of those things. What brought peace in my life was finding what my true purpose was. It was a long road to get there, but once I had inner peace, the world changed very rapidly. I can elaborate if you'd like.
If you're reading this, I started using these teachings 9 years ago. I changed my life (which it was a total depressing mess) in 5 months. I manifested a new GF, money, new job and friends. I was alone and depressed and in 5 months I was living the best years of my whole life. You have to IMAGINE, then BELIEVE and (this is the most and maybe challenging part) LET - IT - GO. Can I ask.... How do you get yourself to REALLY believe when your mind tells you that in "reality", it probably won't happen. Logic tells me otherwise. I REALLY NEED to believe.

I'll give you a recent example, last November 2021, I was working in a project from work that I really loved but I was told that there was "not budget" to create a department for that position, it was just a "temporary project". I was told several times that I was going back to do the job that I really disliked. I, knowing the power of the subconscious mind, started to convince my mind that a budget was approved and I was already an official employee of the department. I trusted and beleived my feelings and thanked God (I am) for the blessings of my life and for the promotion. Literally I was told a few more times that it was not going to happen and I was going back to perform my regular job in January 2022 and that "I had to accept it" I completely ignored everyone's comments including my boss, in my reality (my subconscious mind and only truth) a budget was already approved, so I was happy and relaxed. I stayed working in the project and in March, my boss told me that suddenly from nowhere a budget was approved and I received two salaries increases plus the official job position. I officially start tomorrow. So, there you have another proof that your imagination creates the reality. Ignore "the logic" that's not true, you create your own reality from the inside.

Every experience is for a higher purpose; you may not understand now; but when you look back in retrospect upon an experience which felt harsh at the time, you may (if you are open to it) see both the lesson and the blessing. I partially saw this in junior high. I had a little different conception of it, but it was what Neville describes. I had a girlfriend with wealthy parents and friends, intelligennt, and a step up from myself (or two). I began to see myself as worth something, it started me imagining myself being someone. It took a long time to see it, but it worked. I went from the next to last trumpet in band to all the way to solo trumpet (I was friends with 1st trumpet). It was hard to believe. I've had many other things happen also.

Hey guys, I've been a fan of Neville Goddard for quite sometime now. I would like to help those, who are really having trouble with imagining. This may not apply to you, I don't really know everyone is different; but if it does here you go. The reason you may find it hard or confusing is because you did it subconsciously. So learning that God is all imagination and knowing it's all you have to use, to have all your dreams come true; you say: "Aww yea let's go; I did this when I was a kid, all the time!" So than you start to imagining,(Excitedly)but something is wrong? You keep trying and trying but the noise; keep taking away from your concentration. Your mind keeps telling you and fulling your head up with facts. It keeps you anchor. You find it harder and harder to dwell or even focus for that matter, because of the frustration. So you go back, listen some more, read some and try again some more, still nothing happening. You gain some more knowledge, but the experience is quite the same as before. You take a break in frustration, some stop continuing altogether. I get it, I really do. It sucks. That's why I am here. That's why you are here. To learn how to really pray, right? Ok so, what was the first thing I said; before we got to this point? I said the reason it's hard or confusing is because you imagine subconsciously. When we were kids, we weren't watching everything that we were doing. Maybe some of you was, I don't know? For the most part though, not really. So everything that we don't recall learning, but we know how to do it; that comes from us learning it subconsciously. Guess what, that also apply to us; when we used to imagine as we were kids. You see, we know how to use our imagination for those who are having trouble; but we never learned how to use it consciously. So we're only able to tap into it and do it when we are unconscious or falling asleep, like most people; completely unaware of what we're doing. No no, you don't have to train yourself all over again consciously, to imagine. You can if you want to, but you don't. Here's why our memories are awesome! Just try to remember when you was a kid and how you use to imagine all the time, with no effort what so ever. Can you see your little self, just imagining all kinds of things? See?! That's what I mean; you might actually learn how to imagine, just from learning this. If not, I still got you. Now take that memory and analyze it, study it; try to really see what you were doing as a kid. You'll be surprised how much information the gain. Alright, now I'm going into this here we go. "The subjective appropriation of the objective hope" Remember as a kid, how you would imagine something. It wasn't real; still it felt like you was going down the slide or playing on the jungle gym or tasting your favorite ice cream. What you was actually doing as a kid, completely oblivious to everything or not. You was practicing "feeling subjectively" Huh?? What??? Yea, that's why it was so easy for you, to imagine anything and anytime you wanted. See when you feel something subjectively, your mind can't pick at it because it's not real; but it has the presence of feeling real. If you try to feel something to be real, when it's not there; reason and logic kicks in telling you through your senses it's not real. That's when you get discourage or frustrated wondering why it isn't working. I feel lot of people get this mixed up; moreover I feel lot of people don't, really know the difference at all to be honest. I was the ones, who didn't have a clue about the difference. Everything I'm telling you, that's what I did. Let's go to scripture really quick, Eizel and Jacob. We all know the story, if your a Neville Goddard fan. He talked about it all the time and for good reason. It is essential to know. If you don't, than you can let him tell you; he talked about it in most of his lectures. Anyway, Isaac tells Jacob to come closer, so that he my feel him. Jacob does and Issac said, the voice sounds like Jacob; but the hands, the hands feel like Eizel. Upon realizing what Jacob has done Eizel and Issac are in complete utter shock. So, back to when you was a kid. Upon realizing, that what you were imagining was unreal or a figment of your imagination; I laugh at that now. You snap out of it with a shock! You got it?! Good. You'll be able to hear, smell, touch use all you senses; without trying on the first try. It happens automatically, because the mind can't interfere anymore; imagination can take over. Feel subjectively not objectively. "The subjective appropriation of the objective hope" Not. The objective appropriation of the objective hope. Couple more things; to help you. When you imagine yourself being or doing what you desire, your present concept of yourself dies and you become your desire concept which is Jesus. Your savior from yourself. "Now that you have found me, now that you have found that which will save you from what you are. Let go of that which you are and all that it represents in the world. Become completely detached from it" In imagination you become detached from where you are, which is why you feel a shock once you come out of it. How do I ignore my senses, once I have imagine my desire; but nothing seem to change? Answer: This world is a much more slower pace reality, than our imagination. That's why people don't recognize their harvest (Getting what they imagine) or sometime it feel like Deja vu. It already happened while in imagination. So don't get discourage you did it. It's done. Reality just needs to catch up.Haha That's 100% the true seriously. Ok last thing. This is how to imagine specifically. Jehovah the King: The Producer, what is the theme; Your wish? Vision? Your desire? Jehovah the Servant: The Author, what are you doing? Where are you at? Who are you with? What's happening? Jehovah the Man: The Director, Rehearsal play the scene over and over and over again until you enter a dwellingness which; if you feel subjectively and not objectively you'll enter it in no time. This is a real truth! But many that listen to this video still do not understand what it means. In prayer be it Christian based or metaphysical there still has to be a change of the heart. Dr. Goddard never promoted hatred he spoke of Jesus from a perspective that though we hear his words many still will never comprehend. He spoke of the Father from a different perspective and who we are from a different perspective. But the one thing that was never promoted in his messages was hate. There can not be many manifestations if any that we desire if we don't have a change of heart. This I know to be a serious truth. And as we focus on ourselves individually and try to see the good in others, to live and let live, then the desires will come automatically and quickly. These are truths that I have found that are facts for myself to be very real. I have much respect for his teachings and they can be hard task-masters. But all the same the results are yet true.
I want to live in a much brighter and colorful and magical and miraculous and loving and open and joyous world. I don't want any of my unloving thoughts and feelings and wishes be externalized, but only the best and loving. 1 John 3:4. "Whosoever commmitteth sin transgresseth also the law; for sin IS the trangression of the law." This scripture is talking about the law/commandments of God our Creator...don't let anyone deceive you.
I have a question about the Law of Assumption and coming from a place where the ”you see the goal or want is already realized.” He only talks about doing this process at night before you sleep, so your subconscious is seemingly bringing it about the next day(s) to create circumstances for its fulfillment. But if you think about it, you could go through an entire day without encountering circumstances that support your goal. If you follow someone like Bob Proctor (who teaches similar style material, does it come from the same source (God?)…he will talk about thinking about the goal many times per day per autosuggestion, carrying a goal card, etc…). So in essence it looks like Neville teaches the process only needs to be done at night, but then to “let go and let God” during the day; whereas Proctor suggests to think about it rather unceasingly and to do things to reinforce it. Who’s right? I’m asking because it was a New Year’s resolution of mine to try and achieve spiritual and physical goals via setting aside time during the day to work on autosuggestion, visualization, etc…But if I only have to do this at night per Neville, would I just be wasting time by doing daily work on this? Thanks for any advice from anyone in the know.
Neville says do it in the night or you can do it in the day, at the bar or anyplace. I used to read Bob proctor too but I've switched to Neville completely. To imagine and feel it real and then let it go, that makes things happen, you will love under compulsion and do things in the right ways or things will automatically happen in the right way and your desire will be fulfilled.

Say you have an intense imaginal scene, and have done it with feeling and the assumption it is done. My question is: do you think it needs to be reinforced every day thereafter by an “intentional” sitting down and visualization of the goal again? I.E. if I feel like I’ve done a good imaginal scene via Neville’s technique for a person I would like to attract, should I still sit down every day and continue to do a general visualization of that woman? Or if I have done Neville’s technique the right way, do I essentially “let it go” after the imaginal scene? If you let it go, I suppose you can still walk and talk like you’ve got it, but this seems different from a daily focusing/imagining of the wish. Thanks if you can elaborate on this. P.S. may I ask why you went from Proctor to Goddard?
@Westst12 Burke if you have faith like Neville's you do it only ONCE if not then you have to live in the end everyday, now suppose if you are with a woman you wouldn't think daily about how to win her heart and make her yours, right ? You would imagine scenes of dating her, going out and all, you can do it daily but you have to do it while thinking "from" that place and not "of" that place, to think from it is to think from a place where wish is fulfilled. Personally I use the hearing/breathing technique taught by Neville and mostly I do it once. And to let go is detachment, detachment helped me build faith. @@NotJoegoldberg For several months when I started my job as an Loan Originator I had to live on a draw of 300 a week, which was pennies compared to the bills I had to pay. I had no closings for months on end. But in my mind's eye I had plenty, and in some form or another I was able to pay everything, from random jobs people would ask me to do (I never looked for them myself, they always came to me out of the blue), even tho I had little to no experience in any of those things.
What brought peace in my life was finding what my true purpose was. It was a long road to get there, but once I had inner peace, the world changed very rapidly. I can elaborate if you'd like.

If you're reading this, I started using these teachings 9 years ago. I changed my life (which it was a total depressing mess) in 5 months. I manifested a new GF, money, new job and friends. I was alone and depressed and in 5 months I was living the best years of my whole life. You have to IMAGINE, then BELIEVE and (this is the most and maybe challenging part) LET - IT - GO. I assure you my dear friend, it works.
Can I ask.... How do you get yourself to REALLY believe when your mind tells you that in "reality", it probably won't happen. Logic tells me otherwise. I REALLY NEED to believe.

I'll give you a recent example, last November 2021, I was working in a project from work that I really loved but I was told that there was "not budget" to create a department for that position, it was just a "temporary project". I was told several times that I was going back to do the job that I really disliked. I, knowing the power of the subconscious mind, started to convince my mind that a budget was approved and I was already an official employee of the department. I trusted and beleived my feelings and thanked God (I am) for the blessings of my life and for the promotion. Literally I was told a few more times that it was not going to happen and I was going back to perform my regular job in January 2022 and that "I had to accept it" I completely ignored everyone's comments including my boss, in my reality (my subconscious mind and only truth) a budget was already approved, so I was happy and relaxed. I stayed working in the project and in March, my boss told me that suddenly from nowhere a budget was approved and I received two salaries increases plus the official job position. I officially start tomorrow. So, there you have another proof that your imagination creates the reality. Ignore "the logic" that's not true, you create your own reality from the inside.

Every experience is for a higher purpose; you may not understand now; but when you look back in retrospect upon an experience which felt harsh at the time, you may (if you are open to it) see both the lesson and the blessing. (I have used _my_ particular experience to help others with similar scars.) But first, I'd suggest staying open...instead of so close-minded. Bitterness is of benefit to no one. I partially saw this in junior high. I had a little different conception of it, but it was what Neville describes. I had a girlfriend with wealthy parents and friends, intelligennt, and a step up from myself (or two). I began to see myself as worth something, it started me imagining myself being someone. It took a long time to see it, but it worked. I went from the next to last trumpet in band to all the way to solo trumpet (I was friends with 1st trumpet). It was hard to believe. Hey guys, I've been a fan of Neville Goddard for quite sometime now. I would like to help those, who are really having trouble with imagining. This may not apply to you, I don't really know everyone is different; but if it does here you go. The reason you may find it hard or confusing is because you did it subconsciously. So learning that God is all imagination and knowing it's all you have to use, to have all your dreams come true; you say: "Aww yea let's go; I did this when I was a kid, all the time!" So than you start to imagining,(Excitedly)but something is wrong? You keep trying and trying but the noise; keep taking away from your concentration. Your mind keeps telling you and fulling your head up with facts. It keeps you anchor. You find it harder and harder to dwell or even focus for that matter, because of the frustration. So you go back, listen some more, read some and try again some more, still nothing happening. You gain some more knowledge, but the experience is quite the same as before. You take a break in frustration, some stop continuing altogether. I get it, I really do. It sucks. That's why I am here. That's why you are here. To learn how to really pray, right? Ok so, what was the first thing I said; before we got to this point? I said the reason it's hard or confusing is because you imagine subconsciously. When we were kids, we weren't watching everything that we were doing. Maybe some of you was, I don't know? For the most part though, not really. So everything that we don't recall learning, but we know how to do it; that comes from us learning it subconsciously. Guess what, that also apply to us; when we used to imagine as we were kids. You see, we know how to use our imagination for those who are having trouble; but we never learned how to use it consciously. So we're only able to tap into it and do it when we are unconscious or falling asleep, like most people; completely unaware of what we're doing. No no, you don't have to train yourself all over again consciously, to imagine. You can if you want to, but you don't. Here's why our memories are awesome! Just try to remember when you was a kid and how you use to imagine all the time, with no effort what so ever. Can you see your little self, just imagining all kinds of things? See?! That's what I mean; you might actually learn how to imagine, just from learning this. If not, I still got you. Now take that memory and analyze it, study it; try to really see what you were doing as a kid. You'll be surprised how much information the gain. Alright, now I'm going into this here we go. "The subjective appropriation of the objective hope" Remember as a kid, how you would imagine something. It wasn't real; still it felt like you was going down the slide or playing on the jungle gym or tasting your favorite ice cream. What you was actually doing as a kid, completely oblivious to everything or not. You was practicing "feeling subjectively" Huh?? What??? Yea, that's why it was so easy for you, to imagine anything and anytime you wanted. See when you feel something subjectively, your mind can't pick at it because it's not real; but it has the presence of feeling real. If you try to feel something to be real, when it's not there; reason and logic kicks in telling you through your senses it's not real. That's when you get discourage or frustrated wondering why it isn't working. I feel lot of people get this mixed up; moreover I feel lot of people don't, really know the difference at all to be honest. I was the ones, who didn't have a clue about the difference. Everything I'm telling you, that's what I did. Let's go to scripture really quick, Eizel and Jacob. We all know the story, if your a Neville Goddard fan. He talked about it all the time and for good reason. It is essential to know. If you don't, than you can let him tell you; he talked about it in most of his lectures. Anyway, Isaac tells Jacob to come closer, so that he my feel him. Jacob does and Issac said, the voice sounds like Jacob; but the hands, the hands feel like Eizel. Upon realizing what Jacob has done Eizel and Issac are in complete utter shock. So, back to when you was a kid. Upon realizing, that what you were imagining was unreal or a figment of your imagination; I laugh at that now. You snap out of it with a shock! You got it?! Good. You'll be able to hear, smell, touch use all you senses; without trying on the first try. It happens automatically, because the mind can't interfere anymore; imagination can take over. Feel subjectively not objectively. "The subjective appropriation of the objective hope" Not. The objective appropriation of the objective hope. Couple more things; to help you. When you imagine yourself being or doing what you desire, your present concept of yourself dies and you become your desire concept which is Jesus. Your savior from yourself. "Now that you have found me, now that you have found that which will save you from what you are. Let go of that which you are and all that it represents in the world. Become completely detached from it"
In imagination you become detached from where you are, which is why you feel a shock once you come out of it. How do I ignore my senses, once I have imagine my desire; but nothing seem to change? Answer: This world is a much more slower pace reality, than our imagination. That's why people don't recognize their harvest (Getting what they imagine) or sometime it feel like Deja vu. It already happened while in imagination. So don't get discourage you did it. It's done. Reality just needs to catch up.Haha That's 100% the true seriously. Ok last thing. This is how to imagine specifically.
Jehovah the King: The Producer, what is the theme; Your wish? Vision? Your desire?
Jehovah the Servant: The Author, what are you doing? Where are you at? Who are you with? What's happening?
Jehovah the Man: The Director, Rehearsal play the scene over and over and over again until you enter a dwellingness which; if you feel subjectively and not objectively you'll enter it in no time. I'm telling you.
Jehovah Himself: Actor, makes play come to life, circumstances and results. Wish coming true.

This is a real truth! But many that listen to this video still do not understand what it means. In prayer be it Christian based or metaphysical there still has to be a change of the heart. Dr. Goddard never promoted hatred he spoke of Jesus from a perspective that though we hear his words many still will never comprehend. He spoke of the Father from a different perspective and who we are from a different perspective. But the one thing that was never promoted in his messages was hate. There can not be many manifestations if any that we desire if we don't have a change of heart. This I know to be a serious truth. And as we focus on ourselves individually and try to see the good in others, to live and let live, then the desires will come automatically and quickly. These are truths that I have found that are facts for myself to be very real. I have much respect for his teachings and they can be hard task-masters. But all the same the results are yet true.

I have a question about the Law of Assumption and coming from a place where the ”you see the goal or want is already realized.” He only talks about doing this process at night before you sleep, so your subconscious is seemingly bringing it about the next day(s) to create circumstances for its fulfillment. But if you think about it, you could go through an entire day without encountering circumstances that support your goal. If you follow someone like Bob Proctor (who teaches similar style material, does it come from the same source (God?)…he will talk about thinking about the goal many times per day per autosuggestion, carrying a goal card, etc…). So in essence it looks like Neville teaches the process only needs to be done at night, but then to “let go and let God” during the day; whereas Proctor suggests to think about it rather unceasingly and to do things to reinforce it. Who’s right? I’m asking because it was a New Year’s resolution of mine to try and achieve spiritual and physical goals via setting aside time during the day to work on autosuggestion, visualization, etc…But if I only have to do this at night per Neville, would I just be wasting time by doing daily work on this? Thanks for any advice from anyone in the know.
Neville says do it in the night or you can do it in the day, at the bar or anyplace. I used to read Bob proctor too but I've switched to Neville completely.
To imagine and feel it real and then let it go, that makes things happen, you will love under compulsion and do things in the right ways or things will automatically happen in the right way and your desire will be fulfilled.
@@thewanderingartists Thank you for this. I probably didn't state something exactly the way I wanted it. Say you have an intense imaginal scene, and have done it with feeling and the assumption it is done. My question is: do you think it needs to be reinforced every day thereafter by an “intentional” sitting down and visualization of the goal again? I.E. if I feel like I’ve done a good imaginal scene via Neville’s technique for a person I would like to attract, should I still sit down every day and continue to do a general visualization of that woman? Or if I have done Neville’s technique the right way, do I essentially “let it go” after the imaginal scene? If you let it go, I suppose you can still walk and talk like you’ve got it, but this seems different from a daily focusing/imagining of the wish. Thanks if you can elaborate on this.
P.S. may I ask why you went from Proctor to Goddard?

You would imagine scenes of dating her, going out and all, you can do it daily but you have to do it while thinking "from" that place and not "of" that place, to think from it is to think from a place where wish is fulfilled.
Personally I use the hearing/breathing technique taught by Neville and mostly I do it once.
And to let go is detachment, detachment helped me build faith.
