As far as I know Buckethead have been releasing a few Pikes albums that could be considered "dubstep" as far back as 2012, for an early example I think you can check out the one called "Balloon Cement"
I can tell a musical genius when I see one. I have NEVER seen that ever before. I thought I saw all the tricks you can do on a guitar, but that's one that I never would expect to see.
