Musically the song is great here. Vocally, its obvious Andrew's voice is rougher and I would say all the years of smoking hasn't been good for him at all in maintaining his voice, breathing power and stamina.
The musicians left and right from him do a great job and they both look extremely good on top of that of course. ;) Eldritch knows what he is doing I always thought and that maybe he just does not care? Damn I love the comments here they are hilarious. Nevertheless....for me he wrote the most brilliant lyrics I know, the man speaks....not sure but 6-8 languages? He for sure cannot be stupid and must know he is just totally fucking up his own legacy, maybe he needs the money?
Surely he knows he sounds fucking terrible right? I liked the part where the younger guy sung the chorus and andrew shut his mouth. I think there is a point of keeping the flame alive, but this isn't it. Pass it onto the remaining members and watch from the side chap!
not sure what is making me more sad, the updated intrumental sounds that spits in the face of the original, or andrews voice which literally sounds like he's sick and left his deathbed for one more performance. anyone who pays for this is part of the problem honestly lol
