Castlevania Stages 1-9! Spooky Warmups!

- Correction, Trevor Belmont's in the Netflix series! Boy, I've got to brush up on that show its been a while! Alright folks, it's August 7th 2024. And in my vocabulary, that means whatever game we were playing, takes a brief intermission to start the Halloween 2024, Fall preparations! In this case, it's Tekken 8 momentarily. And we are pretty much picking up where we left off in Spooky Season Specials Series/Spooky Warmups, and jumping right back into the original Nintendo Entertainment System Castlevania from 1987! And folks, the last time we left off, we finished off the second boss fairly easily. But since it'd been about 10 months ago, all that went out the window almost instantly. Reason being? It's basically the most insane amounts of memorization and avoiding knockbacks possible in a video game series. Well, Castlevania is pretty much, known for being incredibly difficult.
You essentially have to want to smash your controller to bits to bring yourselves to play this game. Ask anyone. It's was some of the toughest games when I was a child. And now, you'd think it'd be easier. Guess again! However, extreme difficulty aside, the game is still GOATED amongst the Nintendo Classics! Hence the Netflix series by the same name and increased lore!
Well, in any case, this is about my 15th try this week to bring this video out to you all. Hopefully the next go around we clear some more levels beyond Stage 9. But for this video, we've done one better than our previous attempt at the game. We've got Stages 1-9 in Castlevania out of the way quite comfortably. Albeit, not the best take. It's still better than the previous take I did today!

Trevor Belmont's in the Netflix special. THERE ARE TOO MANY DAMN BELMONTS TO REMEMBER! HAHA!
Yeah, a few. But Trevor's my fave. Dracula's Curse was the first one to come out when i was already into the series (got into it just as Simon's Quest released), and it blew me away being so much bigger, great music, and the other ayable characters. so if for no other reason(s) it's tops for me. Super is most fun to play though, forthe bettercontrol.
@@sheridan140 Definitely! Trevor's lore is awesome! It's been so long since I binged the series. I'm extremely big on how they introduced Dracula in the Netflix adaptation. I really have to sit down and gather the patience to really go through these games one by one and sift through them. It's on my list of things to eventually complete. I saw The House of the Dead Remake that literally flew under the radar and it stole my attention for a little simply because it was less time intensive. But man, oh man, I will get these games done! Crosses fingers! Just finished up The House of the Dead Remake ahead of time, so I'm on here to post it up as we speak!

oh yes, i binge the netflix series on the regular. Actually the only show i've gone back to more than once, let alone a few times a year. Amazingly well done with nods to games across the years, not just Dracula's Curse. Character development is outstanding, given how many over really 3.5 seasons! Many YTers do great character analyses like Kaizoku Slevin and Georgia Dow.
I even went back to finish Harmony of Dissonance just because Juste was briefly in the Nocturne season 1.
@@sheridan140 Oh yes! Work cut out for me indeed! Eventually in my case probably means, anywhere from 1-4 years at minimum at this rate! HAHA! It's on the list hahaha! I'll definitely restart the Castlevania series soon. I'm finishing up Penny Dreadful when I can at the moment as well. Just recently got around to that as well! Anything with insane character development is always perfect! Hats off to you and I hope you continue to get some epic joy out of the series' you are currently binging!

lol imagine thinking you need the stopwatch for the first two stages of this game. Only noobs use the stopwatch.
I prefer the stopwatch, but I've used the others as well. I am definitely a Castlevania noob, that's for sure! 😅

well compared to me, who played the first game when it released and before we knew how to stun lock Death in stage 5, using the cross to beat death was hard as hell, even with triple shot.
