What an interesting woman to talk to. So intelligent and so down to earth. This was an excellent brief history of antisemitism.

Racism is growing in Norway. Today it is one of the countries with the worst decisions in Europe, the only European country that did not recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization, which also transferred free money to UNRWA to finance October 7. For a year and three months Norway has been silent - it is not even able to correct its embarrassing mistakes and call for the release of the hostages. Norway supported terrorism

Some jews too live in Greenland. Greenland is not that cold as people thought, today is minus 11 degree, 2 days ago minus 2. They're greenlanders who support Israel, most just believe what media says and don't have a good view of Israel. But we do not discriminate jews as in other countries.

Hi Kristine, I’m a Jew in Nuuk. Since October 7th, I hide my identity from majority inuits, as many have unfortunately fallen for the false narrative on Israel Palestine, and since I am the only one here I have no one to protect me and my children. Nuuk is very small, haters can easily figure out where I live and work.
The only place I’m not afraid to say who I am when asked, is in church settings because although Eden is critical of Christianity, evangelical Christians are generally supportive of Jews and Israel and reject replacement theology.

When she started talking about Ben Gvir, I understood she has SO MUCH TO LEARN. For her information, Ben Gvir doesn’t do “horrible horrible things”. Unbrainwash yourself. What your family suffered on October 7th is what Ben Gvir is trying to protect your ignorant head from. It’s not a hijacking of Zionism, it’s a recognition that we have a hyper-Nazi society living next door, which is something the left in Israel refused to recognize, and some still do. And also, as an indigenous studies student you have to realize that Arabs are in no way indigenous to Palestine. Same way Europeans are not indigenous to America. Which doesn’t mean that Arabs should be kicked out, and Ben Gvir agrees with this. But, as Ben Gvir advocates for it, it is important to keep Arabs accountable for their behavior because they CAN choose not to be genocidal.

"Arabs are in no way indigenous to Palestine" - Can I ask you who taught you history? Have you heard of the Canaanites? Curious if you're just brainwashed.

I’m an Israeli and the vast majority of the people in Israel believe that Ben Gvir is a disaster to Israel. He and you are the messiah brainwashed people who believe that the temple should be rebuilt on the ruins of the dome of the rock, ignoring or even encouraging a war with all the Muslims in the world. So who are the twisted mind here? She is far more intelligent than you.

Yes. The Canaanites are the ancestors of the Jews.

    • @hpyrkh3
      @hpyrkh3 6 дней назад +5

@ Canaanites were not Arabs. Canaanites were gone WAAAAY before Arabs stepped foot into Levant. Around 1150 BCE Canaanites were gone. By 500BCE the land only had Jews and Samaritans. That is 1000 years BEFORE Arab conquest. Samaritans were brought by Assyrians around 700 BCE, so they are not that indigenous either, but ok, we will give it to them, since currently they don’t have another home. This is not propaganda, this is history, undisputed, verified by archeology. All jews in the world preserved the Hebrew language, knowledge about agricultural customs of Israel, and climate patterns, and, of course, the original name of the place, but I can expand on the name later.
Archeologists dig into the ground in Israel and find Hebrew, plenty of Hebrew, they do not find almost any Arabic. Question, why? Why do Arabs not know the indigenous language of the place, yet the Jews do? This is especially striking when you consider the name Palestinian Arabs took for themselves. What does “Palestinian” mean? Well, this is another fact for you, the word Palestinian originates from Hebrew word “plishtim”, which means “INVADERS”. Palestinians don’t know about it. They took this colonialist name imposed by Romans and then by British because they don’t have another name, they are missing an indigenous name. There are many examples of when nations got their independence from empires, they all change their names to their original indigenous names, but Arabs don’t have an indigenous name, because they are not local.
Now, you can say at this point that Palestinians are simply once upon a time converted to Islam Jews, but that is not the case either. Genetically, only tiny portion of their population is verified to be genetically Jewish. Vast majority of them are either Levantine Arabs or a mixture of other ethnicities that were parts of Ottoman Empire. Everything I said is not disputed, 100% factual. There are also demographical data that clearly shows how Arab population grew in Palestine. From 1880 to 1950, Arab population in the area grew 6 fold. In the same period, populations of neighboring Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia merely doubled. Do you know why arab population grew so fast in Palestine? Because Arabs were moving in enmass. By the time of Israel’s independence, majority of the Arabs had not lived in the land for more than a 100 years. If you go a little bit further back, you will see that in 1830s, Egypt had a civil war, and refugees from that war moved to Palestine as well. I mean, I don’t know what percentage of the Arab population were in Palestine since before 19th century, but it is clearly a minority, out of that minority, significant majority moved in since after 7th century.
Bottom line, Arab presence in Palestine, same as Arab presence in Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon is a direct product of Arab colonization and imperialism.

@@hpyrkh3 "According to DNA analysis and the Hebrew Bible, modern populations of the Levant, including Jews and Arabs, are descended from the Canaanites". Both Jews and Arabs are descended from the Canaanites according to DNA analysis. Case closed.

12:12 there’s no such thing as “indigenous people”, at least not in the post-modern interpretation of the term. The term cannot be defined in a solid, objective manner. It is simply a tool to strip the occident of its dominance.

I am about halfway through the interview right now and I am finding it fascinating. I am someone who does equate Zionism with fascism, and clearly from this interview you both think differently. I don't think Israelis fully realise yet that this is how Zionism is viewed in the West. The reason for this is simple, I have watched hundreds of interviews with Israelis, and about 95% of them take joy in the fact that children are being starved and murdered in Gaza, as if not only do Israelis have a right to Palestinian land but their lives as well. Few have expressed any empathy at all, like you have. If Zionism is not in fact the belief that Israelis have a right to Palestinian life, then you need to find a way to stop the extremists speaking on your behalf.

It never existed in recorded human history.
Gaza was captured from Egypt, after Egypt declared an exterminatory war on Israel in June 1967.
From where did your "fakestine" come from ?
It cannot just materialize from thin air ?

Zionism is the belief in Jewish self determination in their indigenous home. A rescue project from centuries of persecution. That's it. Everything else is opinion & imposed by others.
Einat Wilf describes the 'placard strategy' where zionism is equated with racism, fascism, (fill in the blank with the evil of your choice) and how effective the strategy has been, as is painfully obvious in real time.

Interesting statistics. I saw only one video interviewing Israelis about their attitude to the tragedy in Gaza, where they overwhelmingly were sad about the situation there.
Also from hundreds Israelis I personally know, almost all feel the same.
Extremists are always there, the question is how society deals with them.
Do you know that every act of violence against Arabs in Israel by citizens or army is judged and punished according the law.
