JCPS Deaf and Hard of Hearing Camp

More than 40 JCPS students are attending a summer camp for deaf and hard of hearing kids. A main goal of the camp is to give deaf and hard of hearing students, many of whom are mainstreamed in school, a chance to socialize with other kids like them. Teachers and interpreters are providing fun learning opportunities for students around vocational, audiology and communication skills as well as expanding their knowledge of core curriculum.
