- early 2009 i was spending time with a group of comedians i met through a waiter at Opal Devine's restaurant and went to see several of their shows. After a few times they let me bring my camera along if i promised to not get in anyone's way, so i tucked myself off to the the side and just rolled chip. Nick's set was one of my favorites & i also liked the way he described his deconstruction approach to stage delivery.
Its amazing he didnt become a regional manager at GameStop with this look

They're all nerds. I used to go to coffee shops and comedy clubs like this back in those days. Everyone in them were some degree of nerd most of the time half of them were normie nerds. He played specifically to that crowd, early 20's, most of the things they know are still media related, commercials are an easy dunk.

I think Nick Mullen is one the best comedic minds of this generation. With that being said this is the funniest stand up he has ever done, and he will never be able to replicate it.
