(He did not tell me the lot name) I sold to someone else for about $100 less than I was hoping for, but well above this guys highest offer. So I kind of have a distrust of dealers that come to the house, but if you try to buy the car somewhere near my expectation for the car, than I don't care. Spend time telling my that the car is only worth much much less, but you have cash, we are not going to have a long conversation.

They advertise as if they are private sellers, but really are in business of flipping cars. A lot are people who flip cars, and really are unlicensed dealers. You can tell because every two weeks, they will have a different car for sale with the same contact cel-phone and the pictures will all be taken in the same cul-de-sac. I don't even call these douche-bags. In my state, you need a license if you sell more that 5 vehicles per year and have to have a place of business. After some back and forth, he told me that he could not even sell my car for a $1000 less than my asking price on his lot.
There's no traffic??
A lesson to learn is have some cash somewhere (alternative thinking)
The look on the dogs face, like wtf are we doing 🤣🤣🤣. I wish you was in ohio to sell me a impala. My love car 🤣🤣🤣
if it's a foreign person selling it for a cheap price and won't give you the vin, it's salvage title!
I would say that about anyone, not whether they are "foreign" or otherwise.
I have bought and sold several cars on Facebook Marketplace, unfortunately many buyers on there are just tire kickers that waste your time or seem to think you are desperate to sell and they try to get you to sell for ridiculously low prices.
Had one of these experiences. He lowballed me for nonsense super low price, and he looked mad when he left since I didn't let him buy my car for such a shitty price. Totally wasting my time.
Probably a car flipper
@@Emobattlechicken172 That's what I thought. A looser car flipper POS. I still see him selling flipped cars in my local area on Facebook. Luckily, the next day it was sold to some man who just graduated from college and just got a job for a much better price.
When you buy cars on market place you need to have cash in hand ready to buy and go immediately if not you’ll just be wasting your time
Up until 4 years ago used drivable cars that were over 10 years were worth $200-$500. Minor work usually but was still turn key and drive cars for reasonable price. Not $5000 for a cavalier.. used cavalier were always a $300 car
I love your dog
Building looks like an off frame modular office to me. I sell quite a few things on FB. After people started no showing me, I am hold only with a non refundable Cash App or Pay Pal payment. Outside of that I am "first in wins."
Make sure you always check ur title people !!
Also. If you can see the plate or get the vin use sites like vehicle history or vin readers to look at t details on the vehicle Check. Title status
I buy used cars every once in a while, I start shopping for my next car when I leave the lot in my new car. I love to shop for cars. Facebook marketplace, Craigslist and even auto-trader are full of people who may not be scammers, but they are lying to buyers from the beginning. If you have to lie to me to just to get my call, no dice. It is also my experience that most of these clowns buy the cheapest parts possible, do the minimum amount of work to get the vehicle to just present well and just really do a lousy job reconditioning the vehicle. I could go on and on. Love your channel BTW.
Sounds like you are doing the same thing
What is the best place to buy real private selling cars??
You brought your dog with you. If something bad or unexpected happens, your dog protects you. Thank you for keeping us updated.
Haven’t watched the video yet but if it’s on Facebook I don’t think there’s anything that I wouldn’t believe lol
Glad to see u are taking your dog
I already loved your channel but your goal of having the worlds tallest flag pole made me love and respect you even more!
Good morning Chevy Dude!
Morning!
I find cars and trucks on Facebook. There profile shows they sell alot of cars and trucks. They say they will deliver if I pay towing fee. Are there real people out there that stand being a true seller??? Please let me know. I really need a truck os suv. Thanks
How come so many people advertise cars on marketplace never reply. Is it a scam
As a buyer on Facebook mp or craigslist if I am going to look at a car that will draw interest I always put it into the mind of the seller that if the car is in great shape I will pay over their asking price just this simple thought has helped me buy cars. Even if I show up and others are buying I make it known that I will pay over ... these days have to do just about anything to find a good used car.
