I’ve been using dx11 for the past couple seasons I get about 100fps less but I can still get a perfect 360fps locked the whole game dx11 is a lot more consistent than performance mode

He was fast af on 30 ping before he switched to 0, then he got even faster, but now that he was on 20 ping in this 1v1, he's slightly slower because he's not used to 20-30 ping anymore like he was before lmao
@@demo99772 Yeah, that is true. But everyone knows 0 ping is clearly way better than 20-30 ping. Compare Peterbots or any pros gameplay and speed to when they weren’t on 0 ping to now when they are. You can see the speed difference and just the response in their builds etc. There’s a reason why all the pros went to Texas instead of staying on East or West. Having 0 ping rather than 20-40 gives them an objectively bigger advantage.

idk what input delay pete is talking about on dx12 that i have not also felt on performance mode, if not even worse when in performance mode man. ever since i switched from potato graphics performance mode back to dx12 and re-tuned/optimized my pc settings for it, i have never had more reliable and consistent gameplay from fortnite ever before. Sure, in performance mode i can technically "get more fps" but all-in-all i lag way more, get massive fps drops that have led to build pieces not placing and falling to death in major clutch situations lol and just general issues in the game actually not performing well for me at all in performance mode lmfao make it make sense. im glad i switched back to dx12 because i get 200fps STEADYYY now (on a 190hz 30 inch wide curved monitor), i get less packet loss (mostly isp related) and more steady ping, more overall rendering consistency/steadiness, and overall, the game feels the best to play, looks the best, and on my rig runs the best in dx12. i looked into potentially why that is and i guess since dx12 is actually optimized for cpu and gpu processing differently/more efficiently to help the cpu perform better than what dx11 and performance mode do/offer, with fortnite being a cpu heavy game, the cpu optimizations that come with dx12 operations IMO are the reason why it feels better and i have more steady frames. I have an Nvidia 4060 and Ryzen 7 7840HS.
