    A friend owns the older version of this, with the ebony fretboard.
    Absolute machine and not just for metal.
    There's a video with Joe Bonamassa, playing a JP model in the studio, recording some Blues Rock riffs and it's sound fantastic.

    Good saturday evening dear Jon, beautiful guitar (work, material, pickup control etc.) and once again the sound performance is excellent. A guitar for very good guitarists. I warmly greet you and wish you a nice weekend. Pavel CZ.👍👍👍

    I’ve got the majesty in a similar color crystal amethyst and it’s my favorite guitar to pick up over the last several months. This one looks sick too and that fretboard is gorgeous. Nice playing! Enjoy!!

    A technical work of Art, beyond the skillset of most guitarists, it was designed with a master in mind. I have 8 tonal changes, that has way more. Lol

    Burnt titanium would make great fret markers on the fret board! Thanks for sharing Jonathan!

    Beautiful fretboard.
    The wood in the body and the stain/paint? Makes it look like an exotic gemstone!

    I bought an Ernie Ball Sabre, and had to buy a second one. I can only imagine this is a similar kind of spectacular. I looked up the specs. Same overall Okoume body as mine, different neck radius (mine is 10 inch, and to my surprise I love it), bridge, and pickups, but I can instantly see how you'd love it. Those roasted maple necks are to die for. I can't put mine down. Rock on, and rock out LOUDLY! :)

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  3 месяца назад +1

      And the pickups are high gain ✌🏻❤️

    • @onevoiceinc
      @onevoiceinc 3 месяца назад

      @JonIsJustTooLoud true. The Sabres also have an HT heat treated pickup option with extra tone & volume boost options, but I actually went with the standard passive pickup models. My thinking was what if I ever forgot about the battery and it went dead mid performance. That thought always scares me, hahaha.
      Oh, I wanted to let you in on a product you'll undoubtedly love if you haven't tried it already. It's called the Greer Lightspeed Organic Drive. If you get a chance, check it out. I have two duplicate rigs - one for the stage and one for my studio room - so I bought one for each. It is incredibly smooth. I set it up so it will give my clean an edge of breakup tone, the crunch turns into a bigger rock rhythm, and my high gain channel turns into a "melt faces when activated" tone. It's really really good. :)
      Anyway, great video and always fun.

    Amazing guitars, very lucky to have a JP Majesty and a Luke 3, both brilliant, expensive but well worth the quality and versatility, your review was top notch like your playing

    Even Ernie Ball is using the newer wood that a lot of the economy price guitars are using.
    Means one thing. It's great wood!😁

    I think the nut is Melamine, not Graphite. And, more importantly, it is a compensated nut, meaning the spacing is selective to the string gauge, another EBMM Innovation, I have 2 of these and they are awesome guitars. Good job.,

    I just saw John Patitucci yesterdaynat the Lake George Jazza Fest in Lake George NY.... He's a jazz bassist. Maybe you meant John Petrucci ? Sounded like you said Patitucci. Apparently a senior hearing check up is needed. LOL

    Jon since they cost same as a Fender Custom Shop, does that mean they are also Custom Shop or they can still be count as a production guitar? I don’t understand so much about what can be inclusive to Custom Shop degree what not…

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  3 месяца назад +1

      These days custom shop guitars are linked to the builders themselves.. some time these builders have their own fan base. In the case of this guitar, I don’t believe it’s a custom shop guitar, but having said that, I’m pretty sure you can change certain things around if you want to.✌🏻❤️

    I wish more guitars used a push-push switch instead of a push -pull. My Ibanez has this. I like it much better.

    IMHO Ernie Ball is one of the finest USA guitar makers out there, G&L as well.. more exotic for EB, more Leo GL... but yea Ernie Ball what can you say, just beautiful instruments up and down, every model is pretty nice, then you have the JPM's the majesty, WOW, so nice .. yup hats off the Ernie Ball for not getting into al the political BS like fenner and bowing down, recently fenner has joined the demonrats out to destroy this country and taken made in USA off their guitars, all in the name to erase the USA...
    stupid considering the USA is where their name is.. but that's not why I don't care for fenner anymore, its their quality control and overall quality, when you purchase a $2900 guitar it should be above and beyond... I build guitars so I know what goes into them.. my last brand new fenner I purchased was a Rarity,and I purchased it for 3 reasons, 1. it was a thinline strat, 2. it was a very fine AAA flame mapple top, but not just a flame maple op it was a 1 pc which is rare in fenners garden of figured tops, I got a Mexican the year before that was a fluke, its the only one in that run I have ever seen and in FACT, it was used in all the fenner ad campaigns for that fenner MIM FSR Strat, the cherry burst, how I got it I'll never know but I did ask the seller at the big box, is the one in the pic the one I will get and they said yes.. and they stuck to it .. there is a blue burst out there as well, my best guess is they used those for the stock pics to sell more of them cuz they just look better.. anyways then 3. solid rosewood neck, all in one package, rare git on fenners end they should have sold out that year but you can still find new ones today's which is counterintuitive, apparently the raggedy vintage look has taken over for good.. ...
    anywho the blemish or should i say dimensional issue doesn't effect anything you can see or feel, tone or sound, meh, it would be very negligible if any really and I'm willing to bet that myself and the person who received my unanswered email 5 years later is the only other who knows, yes while it was brand new that very season they ignored me when I called them on the issue, I wanted to know was it just this guitar built this way or are they all? its a very very odd issue if its even an issue, again its dimensional, and you cannot see it, and I found it in a very oddball way, being a builder I was checking something else and it didn't add up and I was like WTF how can that be... welp I found out.. I wonder how many other strat or teles or any others out there have this issue?
    but being that they shunned me on the email and were willing to try and make me go away by ignoring me I figured ya know what I hold all the cards here, I'll just ever do business with them again and I haven't and I wont
    in contrast I purchased three comanchee pups off G&L's parts website, one had a bad wire, so instead of having me sending in my bad one they send me a new one just like that .. that's real customer service, they weren't erked or anything they just sent me one, when I was like not really a big deal I guess if you are out of stock as my build only used 2 of the 3 I bought as a set, that shot G&L right TTT of my USA best guitar maker list right then . .
    I've had a few other brand new fenner issues and read of a many more that just makes me want to stray from fenner all the way, then when you read about all the complaints their workers have against them, how they are treated, how much upper management they have that just create problems that shouldn't exist? yea its no brainer, stay away! far away . .
    owned one G&L ZERO complaints fine guitar, a friend owns it today, only EB was a sub, not a sub sub but the sterling model, liked everything about it save the thinner body, which is what makes it a sub, I just never knew before I purchased it for like $100 or so, I slapped some hot rod pups in it and rocked it, good guitar..
    I really want an Ernie ball Cutlass flamed body roasted birdseye neck, and a JPM . . purple/black center.. had the cutlass in my hands and it fits well, id buy a JPM sight unseen that's the confidence I have it will be beyond my expectations, you just do not read or see anyone complaining about this they shouldn't be complaining about with EB's or GnL' ... you've got a beauty in your hands there . .. so lucky sounds better than I expected .. all in all Im saddened about fenner taking this turn, its been a long time coming but such an iconic brand, same for gibby.. just poor cheap build quality way over priced... sad really
