CFTC RULE 4.41 - HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN
Trading performance displayed herein is hypothetical. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance trading results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
U.S. Government Required Disclaimer - Commodity Futures Trading Commission Futures and Options trading has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk. You should seek appropriate advice from your broker, or licensed investment advisor, before taking any action. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Simulated performance results contain inherent limitations. Unlike actual performance records the results may under or overcompensate for such factors such as lack of liquidity. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses to those shown.
The risk of loss in trading can be substantial. You should therefore carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition.
If you purchase or sell Equities, Futures, Currencies or Options you may sustain a total loss of the initial margin funds and any additional funds that you deposit with your broker to establish or maintain your position. If the market moves against your position, you may be called upon by your broker to deposit a substantial amount of additional margin funds, on short notice in order to maintain your position. If you do not provide the required funds within the prescribed time, your position may be liquidated at a loss, and you may be liable for any resulting deficit in your account.
Under certain market conditions, you may find it difficult or impossible to liquidate a position. This can occur, for example, when the market makes a “limit move.” The placement of contingent orders by you, such as a “stop-loss” or “stop-limit” order, will not necessarily limit your losses to the intended amounts, since market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders. Keep making these shorts - clear, concise info when I don't have time to watch a long ICT video but want to reinforce concepts. Also easier to digest and put into action.
Thanks, will do!
I am Just happy that I found ICT in 2021.But I feel so blessed that I found you and your videos in 2022.Great Content ,explanatory and inspiring in every videos you post brother ❤
Really appreciate the kind words!
Hlw ramesh sir. You looks Indian?
@@sanatandutta6068 Yes Brother
@@quditchhagrid if you have any Indian forex traders comunity please add me
I know and use SMT, however I always watch these explanatory videos as I find them invaluable in their simplicity. I'm also happy I discovered this educational YT channel.
🙏
Thanks a bunch for this invaluable video. It makes a ton of sense with the simplicity of your breakdown.
Glad it was helpful!
Great stuff! Been consuming your vids. To the point, which helps me focus on the lesson.
Great to hear!
Thanks TTrades for this Video.
I have been hearing ICT saying that SMT is for Confirmation to an already existing model, and my early interpretation to this has been, that SMT comes 'last' to my Trading set-up, as its 'Confriming the set-up'.
However, what you have just demonstrated makes for easier application of His SMT. Thanks for the Insight brother.
Glad I was able to help!
Thank you for explaining the concept so clearly!
Traded down into 15m OB and FVG. Could’ve jumped long right after target for Turtle Soup entry long, using the sick sister concepts. The possibilities are endless. From PD array to PD array. The rabbit hole is so deep. Infinite money glitch. I love it! Nice video bud.
thanks!
Always problem with SMT but after watching this video I can understand very well, Good job man. Always waiting new videos
Happy to help
Sir this is Waqar Ahmad from Pakistan sir i have little bit issue in English i learned ict in 21 but i didn't understood their points clearly then i switched to ict but now i watched your videos you explained in short time but out class thanks for you this gift sir and also thanks to ict

Thank you brother. May the big man upstairs continue to bless you. Can you do another video with more examples on when to enter. 🙏
Will do
Thanks for the lesson about divergence reversal on the SP500 and DOW.
Incredible videos man!
Glad you like them!
Simple and clean❤
ur videos always great !! thank u
Glad you like them!
👍Thanks your explainer videos are usually clear and concise. 👍Here though I was struggling: which of the two assets do we choose as being the one that's 'right' in its direction???????
they are both going the same direction, it comes down to relative strength or weakness
Excellent again, very very good.
Thank you! Cheers!
Another great video.
Thanks for your help and great effort Sir.
Is it possible to have a full video for top down analysis for intraday trading putting all ICT concepts together into work.
🙏 Thanks 🙏
Yeah I can work on something
Thanks alot for these lesson, it's shorting my learning path
Glad to hear that!
Such great content!
thanks!
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for the video!!!
You bet!
I appreciate what u do bro 😊
It's my pleasure
Awesome video thanks!
do you only consider SMT on a 15min timeframe?
For example if SMT was occurring between highs on a 5 min chart would you consider that relevant?
Yes I will look for them on most time frames.
BEST SMT VIDEO EVER LOVED IT!
CAN WE BACKTEST 2 PAIRS AT THE SAME TIME ON FX REPLAY FOR SMT?
❤
In fx replay they don't currently allow that
great explanation ty
Glad it was helpful!
For what it's worth, I found this useful and helpful! So when you trade, how many screens do you use, and do you trade with the ES on one and the NQ on another, on the same screen, or just switch back and forth occasionally? Also, how do you draw the multi-colored square/rectangle on Tradingview like you do at the 6:30 time frame? Lastly, as another video suggestion, and I'm still getting caught up on you older ones, so maybe you've already presented it, how do I know when to discard a liquidity point or Fair Value Gap?
I have 3 screens but lots of time just use one. i will use the down/up arrow to switch through my watchlist or just have them up on the same screen.
that is the risk to reward tool.
What do you mean discard a liquidity point or fvg?
@@TTrades_edu Thank you! The screens explanation was also helpful. Discarding a liquidity point or FVG... On your screen you have liquidity targets, and you've drawn in Fair Value Gaps - how long do you keep them for? Once they've been pierced, do you get rid of them? Do you keep them until the end of the day in case they might get hit again? Longer? etc.
well explained
Thanks for video!
My pleasure!
thank you so much it was veeery enlightening. Do you always use 15min SMT as confluence or which timeframes matter to you mostly?
intraday i want m5/m15. ill use higher as well
This strategy and the Intraday Bias (4h) are the Holy Grail. I assume that the SMT Divergence works better in NY open. I live in Eurpe so I use both: Intraday Bias for London open and SMT Divergence in NY open
love it, glad the videos helped !
I must add the Unicorn strategy. The best setup ever. Thanks man :)
Yet another set of great insights! Cool... I was wondering whether in your series of educational videos there would be s.t. around "high and low resistance runs". Can u help? Cheers!
I have it on the list of videos to make. Just been super busy lately.
@@TTrades_edu Great! Looking forward to that extension of your series.
I AM VERY MUCH FRUSTED BECAUSE I FOUND U TOO LATE, AGAIN U SIMPLFY THINGS ,AWESOME MAN 😇🙂 GOD BLESS YA
glad to have you
@@TTrades_edu always brother keep up the good work hope to see u in person on day after I earn a lot 😊👍😂
thanks alot for the video brother i hope you make another one about DXY some people invert it ...the movement with index is supposed to be inversely correlated but sometimes they move in tandem .also smt sometimes appears when I take the trade It faids and the other assets follow
I can possibly in the future.
wow nice video, worth to watch,, hey sir i have a question what should i look for smt in gold, gbpusd?(forex)
silver, eu/dxy
Is this trading view for back test?
I’m just wondering how you have both charts running at the same time with replay. Great video man
fx replay. link in description
Thanks for video. Technical question. How did you get simulation on both graphics simultaneously?
multiple windows on tradingview
Nice video I'd be curious what the tell is when SMT actually ends up being a catch-up play. ICT noted one a couple weeks back expecting NQ to catch-up. I've seen this a number of times as well where the SMT fails, but haven't found correlations yet.
What I’ve noticed is the one that sweeps catches up later. Would backtest though
@@TTrades_edu ive seen this aswell, you would have to look at all 3 indices, if NQ ES make higher highs but YM hasn't, look for a setup in the YM so it can catch up
Thanks Brother For Fully Explained Can I compare Bank Nifty with nifty
not sure on that sorry
I love the way you explained it, and it got me introduce to divergeance, but how do you know which one of the graph is right ?
whichever is weaker or stronger on the htf
After trading Ict for a year, I finally just understood SMTs lol
awesome!
merci pour ta vidéo, très instructive; juste une question, peux t'on utiliser SMT Divergence pour GBP/USD EUR/USD? merci encore
yes
Nice work.. thanks
Welcome 👍
In future videos do you think you’ll be able to discuss kill zones and especially the optimal times to trade indices and if possible why currencies or indices may be Beter than one another
I like this ...:)
I have never traded currencies so can’t discuss on that
Great video!
But i have qestion that i havent find answer on yet..
If we have SMT in both direction, which should i go after?
I get so confused when we have in both dirrections...
Smt still needs narrative and bias. Just because there is an smt doesn’t mean I’m switching my bias
Thank you for the video. To get a clear understading, has the dynamic and volatility of the indices something to say, like NQ (high dynamic/volatility) is a smt signal leader over ES and DJI (least volatile)? What do you compare the most, ES and NQ?
I look at all 3
did you see TFOP has designed a Tradingview indicator for this ? It's called "smt divergence" ;)
Thanks bro🤜🤛
Welcome 👍
Maybe I was distracted, I don't get how do you pick which one of the two indexes' divergences leads the way to the other one. However I've to understand how to apply this kind of price concepts on crypto (which I know you don't trade). I usually use indicators for divergences but I've the feeling that SMT on price are more powerful
whichever one is diverging is currently (stronger/weaker)
Would this work for higher timeframes like the daily. eg. SP and DOW break highs but NAS doesn't. Is that an indication for a reversal? thanks for your videos
it’s can be used to confirm a reversal
how do you know which index is lagging? is it when the smt breaks the trend, or continues in the trend?
Hi, which ICT trade setups are the most traded ? Any advice with which setup to start trading ICT setups ?
I like OB the most currently. It depends on what stands out to you.
Can I apply SMT on the EURUSD vs GBPUSD? Thank you for your valuable video
yep
Thanks for the wonderful information and explanation.
Could this SMT apply beyond two related index ?
Could I also apply it on DXY And USDJPY? Or AUDUSD with EURUSD ?
those are related pairs
@@TTrades_edu million thanks for the reply 😍
1 more quick question, if there is SMT for AUDUSD vs GBPUSD,bullish SMT in HTF poi , and it is a higher low for AU, while it is equal low for GU, so there is divergence between them .
Is it better to long AU compare to GU with this situation?
Because the AU has shown stronger trend during the same time phrase .
100 million thanks for the reply and your teaching 🙏🏻❤️
@TTrades does SMT Divergence work on Forex pairs as well? And what's an example of two forex pairs that work with SMT?
what is the difference looking in smt silver and looking to dxy regarding for xauusd
if you go into tradingview pull them up and see if their is correlation
You showed two charts in smt so for eu which chart should I focus on dxy or gu?
i use both
Thanks for this video, may i know how do you know with which devise should i do compare to get my SMT.
By exemple if it trade GBPJPY how can i know with what devise should i compare GBPJPY ?
EURJPY
Would the DXY be a comperative asset to BTCUSD for this SMT Divergence? Or which asset would be the best comparative with BTCUSD?
i dont trade crypto but i would think ETH
What is ES and NQ? Haha sorry maybe dumb question but is it just an acronym for nas100 or spx500 or something?
they are the futures contracts for nas and spx
So correlated pairs for smt i know there is us500 with us100 , us500 with us30 and eur/usd with gbp/usd us there any other forex pairs we can use ?
yeah, correlated pairs
What tool are you using to draw the lines that are annotated on TV?
trendline
Hey, bro, could make a video about timing according to the ICT? I mean, I know that London goes from 2 to 5, but what's the best time to open a position? I noticed that 2am usually creates a manipulation. I also see that from 10am to 12am trades can also be made... So it creates a confusion in timing.
Better use New York Time zone
Where London Killzone is 2am New York Time
I personally watch NY am session
What is the smallest TF you would use SMT on?
1min generally
1. Which is the correlated pair for EUR/USD?
GU or DXY
Great video, as always TTrades! 💪 Question: what divergence pair for trading Gold?! Thanks!
silver
@@TTrades_edu thanks a lot!!! 💪🔥🙌
Is this applicable to EURUSD and GBPUSD, for example? Thanks
👍
And if it creates LL , HL in both pair in bullish smt and HH , HL in both pair in bearish smt means in vaild or....?
if they both create the same structure then there is no smt
Please, could someone explain me at 08:19 why that is a Order Block?
I have doubt , what if it create LL , LL in both pair in bullish smt and HH ,HH in both pair in bearish smt it is valid ?
if they both create the same structure then there is no smt
does this strategy need to be in a London or Newyork killzone session? Or it can also work out of killzones session ? Thank you for this awesome strategy.
I use it on all time frames and killzones
@@TTrades_edu Thank you
How its work on Forex currencies like EUR/USD or XAUUSD
it does, EU/GU/DXY
Very good
Thanks
How do you know determine which of the divergence have priority? It can't always be NQ?? 🤔
I look at relative strength on daily time frame
Gracias
sorry im late, but does smt work with forex currencies too? such as eurusd or usdjpy
yep
Does It need to happen at the same exact time or no ?
not exact time.
Would you look to enter the lagging one? In general
personally it depends on time frame and duration of the trades, but yes.
Can this divergence be happened in any time frame and still working out?
yeah its fractal
Do you need confirmation with SMT? In LTF SMT can be a confirmation? SMTception.
SMT is the confirmation to existing idea
Is there a rule you use as to which index would take a leading indicator? For example an index with higher beta (Nasdaq 100) would serve as a leading indicator for S&P?
i look at relative strength. right now strength is in ES and weakness is in NQ
@@TTrades_edu Thanks! By relative strength you mean, the relative strengths between the SMT divergence on the two indices, OR relative strength as in RSI to see if there's bull/bear divergence?
When you notice one of the indices is more bullish after coming down, do you then trade long the more bullish indice is that the conclusion? Often I'm confused because I can't tell which indice is "controlling" the other. You might have a bullish divergence which may indicate a reversal, but then the more bearish indice drops and bring the more bullish indice with it if that makes sense.
it honestly depends on context to which one I am watching.
You have a very good point. This is why I personally do not give SMTs a lot of weight in my own analysis.
I think the point is that you still need to guess the overall direction, but if you get the direction right and the stronger of the pair you get the best scenario. But not getting the overall direction right will dwarf any benefit from a stronger pair@@patrickusereau992
so does it only work with the sp500 and dow?
nope, will make new video for you this week
an other one 🙌🙌
What is the best timeframe to use SMT? 1,5,15?
Any. Relative to your model. I like m15
When it's come to crypto what we should compare with sir?
ETH/BTC?? not sure I don't trade it
do you have a list of smt pairs ?
can we do this with the actual S&P instead of the future ? or S&P and ES ?
Not sure on your question
Can I still focus on only kill zones when trading SMT divergence?
I prefer to take my entries in killzones. SMT can occur outside it
Thanks
for sure
They act as one, the liquidity on the other side, can create also volume to that side and can make move on the other side ... They ack like as one even not same ...
not sure what you mean
what is the discord link? I dont see one in the description.
stratalerts.com/join/?sld=ttradesedu
Nice video sir
I was hoping that a high probability smt divergence would be sweeping liquity
Let say you bearish and an smt bullish divergence has happened would you wait to see a bearish divergence or would you still take the trade?
i would need a picture of what you are trying to explain
@@TTrades_edu how to do that
@@TTrades_edu how can I do that
send message in discord
thank you dear sir.
1. so basicallly you look for your higher TF which yours is 15m then you enter withouth need to see SMT on the other pair right?
2. also i still couldnt understand which pair that has divergence to enter. because it shifts from one to another fromm time to time.
3. what to do if we dont have TV premium? :(
(btw im Smart Money trader not ICT)
I use on all time frames.
A divergence between them is the smt, if that is what you mean in #1.
I personally use a model and don't just enter.
3. you dont need premium. other ways to do it.
@@TTrades_edu thank you dear friend please post more videos of your entries with SMT im grateful
what if there is smt divergence on both highs and lows
Then it’s probably in a range, or lack of HtF reasoning
Is it compulsory that two pairs are comaored?
EU and GU are correlated because they are both against the dollar. not really sure the question.
Which video is the box method? Thanks
