I've had my eye on this card for a while and it can put in some work. I don't know if you knew this, but Simul Archfiends saw a lot of play in the OCG because of Unchained specifically. They would side it in + Archfiend Heiress because if they go TGU + Rhino they can send Heiress and add this card to hand because it has "Archfiend" in the name making it consistently reachable. I'll definitely play around with it in Lab though.
I have this card on my build in Master Duel, what a happy coincidence! Anyway, I don't play TCG and don't have access to the real product, but man, I would love to have that playmat art as a wallpaper!
Yeah I use it in MD too it's not as much as a blowout card as D barrier when you call it right but it has some good coverage and forces the opponent to take some less straight forward lines to get to their preferred end board and in a best of one format like MD I think it does it's job quite well in lab...
My brother in christ, where TF did you get that playmat? I NEEDED it!!
I’ve watched this a few times actually to really take this in. And as someone who believes they have a strong understanding of this deck and plays it well. I want to love this card. But the applications I personally think are to niche. I have a YCS and two regionals coming up. I think I’m going to give it a shot. I’m curious to see how this will play. I’ll give it a shot.
I 100% agree with titan coincider I’ve been wanting a reason to put it in and you sold me on it.x
Also also, I do like siding the simul G2 & G3 for the fact you know they will cross out for d barrier. I main 1 D barrier and side the other 2 “ Locals forced me to “ but I like maining 1 D barrier and siding 2 arch fiend.
Assuming this can also stop rescue aces link climbs as well 🤔 on top of unchained and purrely
Yes
Just noticed, that’s Magikey Artwork on that trap
I have been siding it in Plunder Patroll for a while now and it's really good if you want to slow your opponent down without stopping them outright. I even used it during my turn to prevent Branded in Red from fusion summoning and then got the OTK due to the ATK boost.
When do you ever want to not stop them "outright" the fk ?
@@Thirstea1305There are some decks that need the opponent to control monsters or profit off the opponent having specific monsters on the field, for example Dino or CyDra. Or Chimera. Also, having your opponent commit to an extra deck ressource can hurt their grind game. In many cases it comes down to a worse D Barrier, but there are situations where it will be better.
Spicy!
How many of the Butler are you gonna play
the real question is where did you get the mat?
I will subscribe and then like/ comment on 50 of your videos if you tell me where you got the playmat. If it’s custom send me the blueprints. I have looked everywhere I can’t find it.
Honestly I should be subscribed already I always appreciate your knowledge on lab and your videos are always very informative and helpful. So I’ll just sub without info on the playmat for all you have already given.
D Barrier is better
Not versus a link deck
no shit. m cannon would be considered then@@NecromorphTX
yeah its bad. Only better against unchained going first, and all its doing is making sure they dont end on rage? Yeah no, there are like 5 other auto-win going first cards you can board against unchained that are infinitely better. Under no circumstances do you want your opponent to be able to stick 1 extra deck body of their choice before locking them out, its just worse then dimensional barrier in almost every way, minus the fact that it has niche applications vs unchained. Its funny, but I don't think this card will ever be good unless code talker is tier 0
