Nothing. No voice. No structure. No instrument No info Just what she is hearing. Abandoned by the greater will There is no guidance for us. We have all been abandoned The vastness of space and what's beyond in the sky..is emptiness
I love this boss man the first phase music gives off this grandiose feeling as if you're for the first time seeing something out of this world but as soon as phase two music kicks in you start to realize that it is STILL grandiose but ominous as well as if that feeling first feeling of wonder stopped and instead replaced with dread and curiosity to something never seen before it's a nice addition on how to properly do cosmic horror
1:07 ... it's tough to hear, but you can hear the same melody that plays in the first phase. Very big fan of the second phase music... if you can call it that. Also love the little reference of the finger ruins theme at 0:41. Obviously this isn't going to be as popular as other songs, but this phase theme is super unique. So mysterious and ominous.
Huh. Perhaps the Gloam-Eyed Queen drew upon Metyr in some way to kill immortals + gods before Marika locked away Destined Death? Maybe the Godskins and their Queen go way deeper than we realize
nope. This song consists of the first ever recorded sound of a black hole. listen closely to this video annd that video. it resembles the connection between metyr and the greater will through a miniture black hole.
@coastaldrano2355 That's an interesting theory, maybe they'd be able to fell immortals with black hole energy (since black holes are known to capture even light itself), would also be supported by the fact that they use BLACK flames
Just writing this so you don't forget and because i want to be sure: When are you going to do OSTs with both phases extended in the same vid? (I miss that kind of videos so im a bit anxious. sorry if keep asking, i hope i'm not being annoying)
I wouldn't say generic. It sounds unnaturally quiet, especially for a boss battle, as if you have gone too far into cosmos, unable of recognizing anything familiar around you. It is incredibly ominous in comparison to all other battle themes in this game and it's incredibly fitting considering that this boss is a spawn of an Outer God.
@@eggshot2470 It's the dawning dread and realization that, the Greater Will, the highest of gods, the Outer to Outer Gods, *had forsaken us from the start.*
If I wanted to hear the extended version of this I’d just turn on my dishwasher and would be the same

Bro, the song is the sound of a black hole, literally is made with it

I love it to the death. It's so meaningful. Also fun fact is that it seems to be inspired by the real sounds of Black Hole done by NASA. Google it.
This is similar to the sound a black hole makes :)
Look up the NASA recording
now you have two eldritch waifus, Metyr, Mother of Fingers and Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos
Giant eldritch finger MILF theme
Its...so cold here
Pure emptiness, like traveling to the void zone of the deep ocean or space.
The way it spins around in the air at phase 2 made me think of a Star Fox NES boss for some reason...
Reminds me a bit of the Celestial Emissary's theme from Bloodborne.

I just noticed that the fingerprint is very similar to the Godskin Blackflame sigil, any lore implications?

@@bazplayzyt6207 They're referring to Metyr's face resembling the symbol of Gloam Eye/Black Flame. Not the theme.

Can you do phase 2 putrescent knight?
How does the second phase theme get downgraded to generic horror ambience?
