Anthony, I am sorry you get it both coming and going, it just sucks, this may be your lot in life, because your character is strong and you can let it roll off you. You are highly intelligent and a profound thinker, and you have the courage to discuss these complex difficult and challenging issues of the US, please don’t stop! The American people need you❤
I really have enjoyed you Anthony… you have great guests on …and enlightened conversations 👏🏻👏🏻hang in there with all of us shocked Americans… we need you ✅
Anthony I am Italian woman who grew up in an extreme abusive misogynists ideological /not intellectual Italian “ family.” Thank you for modeling to me an intelligent and informed Italian man; and I am a democrat- what other choice is there, especially for a proud co-dependent . I have my own editorial about this election I hope to share.
Wheres the long form version of the conversation. I want to listen to it. What I heard here made me feel better. Humane versions of ourselves is what we all should cultivate. Especially people in positions of power.
I absolutely and passionately hated Anthony in the Trump administration days. I see him now as the only down to earth rich man. He was not born rich, that makes all the difference. He is always ready to admit when he's got it wrong. Now, Anthony, please make sure to make an audio version of your new book 'The Little Book Of Btc', can't wait for it to come out...Keep up the great work ❤
What is wrong with rich people? They think, because they are rich, they are wise leaders. They may have discovered how to make money, but they are often too arrogant to discover wisdom.
The answer to your question is very simple...abject greed! The popular notion: unleashed in the 80's "greed is good." American culture is currently predicated on "me first", profit over all else, thanks to a glut of MBA"s, not even a subject in post secondary education before the 80's. All the blather that comes out of the states is nauseating. Americans use 10,000 words when 10 would suffice. I have travelled all overr the world and there is absolutely no excuse for the deplorable poverty within rural USA. How can such a rich country be so inhumane? That's the question. Not what's wrong with rich people ffs.
I grew up in a pre-Scaramucci America, and the message I got what that America was a classless society. I took my first plane ride at 7 on Delta Airlines and I don't think there was even a first class section at that time. The tax rates were progressive and the incentives then were to solve the problems everyone had. What I think happened was that as the world became more globally connected, it started at the top, American government officials and the wealthiest collided with Kings, Princes, Aristocrats, Sheiks, Dictators and such all around the world, and that newly connected community was competitive and our American representatives felt they had to compete or have as much power and prestige as the global elites, to keep up and even surpass the global Joneses, and the was what really trickled down economically in our society and at about 1980 or so with Reagan deficit spending and tax cuts for the rich created a deficit where those with massive capital had even more capital and essentially capture both capital, credit and political power and ran with it til today where it is a toxic problem demanding a solution they refuse to acknowledge or fix. They don't even want to pay ANY taxes for god's sake. Indeed, what is wrong with them is that the best of them need to keep up with the worst of them, and it falls out from there.
I'm disturbed by the adulation of rich people. Don't drag them down because they're wealthy or successful but the mindless worship of some very flawed people especially by young men is lemming cult like.
Elon Musk is the perfect example. He does undeniable have a talent for business and leveraging his capital in investments, and he can do all these rich guy things, but it does not make him a political scientist or engineer or a competent leader - in fact seems like quite the opposite.
@@godsloverevealed5003 Revenge at the cost of screwing up the entire country is evil or incompetent ... stick to the visionary stuff. Musk is a political bull in a china shop.
There are plenty of people who live life as an open book. They're virtuous and kind, educated and interested, hardworking and thoughtful. They share few if any of the Orange Narcissist's traits. And, some may not want to fall in line for an election denying strong man. Sorry.
Very interesting and good discussion as usual with Scaramucci. The thing is that a free society has to compete with unfree societies and in order to do that must have self-imposed discipline that unfree societies and just coerce or force their people to do - especially an unfree society like China that has a surplus market of citizens. No one in the US is talking nationally about what China is or what our responsibilities are as Americans in order to survive China and Americans are not discipline enough to care to listen or think. So we just try to follow China and enslave our citizens by grinding them down which is destined to fail because we have 1/4 the population of China. These are discussions we ought to be having nationally instead of doing our best to block them or shout them down. I really appreciate Anthony Scarmucci's attempts to go there where few really have to the guts or the security to do so. So maybe Trump is to thank/blame for setting AS free to pursue this uniquely American path? ;-)
People want to remain ignorant or are simply stupid because it is comfortable. They think rich equates to smart. Like a herd dog to sheep, he will keep us safe so long as we go along.
What's wrong with rich people? I think money amplifies who you already were. It becomes a megaphone of sorts. There are people who do good. There are people who do no good. There are people who self-reflect and learn. There are people who don't care. Money makes any of this bigger and increases the impact on others - in the family, at the workplace, in an industry, in politics.
Scaramucci saying “rapacious”, great word that is not used as much as it should be. We all need to improve vocabulary and communication. We are getting literally less intelligent.
I take comfort in the belief that Trump will clash with Elon or anyone else that isn't a complete yes man. And this coming administration will be so incompetent that it will be unsuccessful
@anthonyscaramucci* A Republican Senator just filed in court a Complaint with PA Election Board. And guess who just landed a new job - Nora O'Donnell! The Audit begins! 😅😂
The system written by a few men in a room created the environment that all of us try to navigate today. Our roles and place in society are defined by financial status, race, religion, and country of origin. We try to follow the common rules and laws of the land as loyal citizens. We need to have the right conversations to address the root causes. Unfortunately, we are unable to do that in the currently. The United States of America is an idea, but reality does not allow for that idea to include everyone. It can't by design. For me the real enemy of the people are those who navigate their lives outside of everyone else's. Trump, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Cuban, Bill Gates, etc. if they choose, can live outside of our reality. Some are grounded enough to "live" as the rest of us in that sense while others prefer to live outside of that world, easily and without remorse. Capitalism is an economic system where private individuals and businesses own the means of production and operate for profit, driven by competition and consumer demand. The first word, Profit negates competition and consumer demand. That's why Capitalism doesn't work for the majority and never will. Imagine playing rock, paper, scissors against Elon Musk. Elon Musk doesn't use these options, he doesn't play the odds. Instead, he uses a sledge hammer, which guarantees that he will win every time. We applaud him because he didn't follow the rules. He thinks outside the box, and creates his own box, because he can and their is no one to stop him. It's even worse than that. The same Government that subsidizes his companies will now hand over the rains to him and decide where the money goes.
"INSTITUTIONS WON'T SAVE YOU" Masha Gesson on autocracy. The Lord of the rings tells the story of wealth. Musk will fall hard when Trump rejects him for disloyalty. 2 kings/one throne. 👋👱♀️🇺🇲
Trump…..even a broken clock is right twice a day. Occasionally, a decision works out but usually not for the reason he intended, because of unintended consequences.

Much respect to Mr Scaramucci. He’s humane, brilliant and a voice of reason.

The US was built to worship its only God, Mammon disguised as Jesus.
Elon Musk is a visionary who was never invited to sit at the cool kid's table and he's exacting his revenge.
@ I guess not much different than Trump, in terms of being left out but let's face it, he was a C list buffoon before 2016.

1992 Trump hits the target from 10 yards, not 40. Big difference. Just like the difference between a 3 ft and 30 ft put.
